Some restaurants serve food. Bismillah Restaurant & Cafe serves a legacy.
Founded over 15 years ago by the visionary Mr. and Mrs. Shah Moghul, Bismillah was built from the ground up on something that cannot be manufactured or replicated — dedication, passion, and a genuine love of hospitality that captured the hearts of Houston's community from the very beginning. Over the years, that warmth and those unforgettable flavours brought not just loyal local families through the doors, but celebrities from across the country who came to experience what Houston's Pakistani community already knew — that Bismillah is simply in a category of its own.
Today, that torch has been passed to the next generation. Inam and Huma, the second-generation restaurateurs carrying their parents' legacy forward, have expanded Bismillah to new Houston locations while infusing the brand with fresh energy, innovative culinary dishes, and a vision that honours everything their parents built while bringing it boldly into the future. The restaurant walls still tell that rich story — adorned with celebrity autographs and the unmistakable character of a Houston institution that has meant something real to this community for over a decade and a half.
At the heart of Bismillah's enduring appeal is a menu that celebrates two worlds beautifully. On one side, the bold, authentic flavours of Pakistani heritage — traditional kebabs grilled to perfection, rich and aromatic curries, and beloved desi classics that taste exactly as they should. On the other, a vibrant selection of American-inspired favourites — burgers, pizza, wings, and more — that ensure every guest at your table, regardless of their taste preferences, finds something they love. It is a culinary combination as unique and dynamic as Houston itself, and it makes Bismillah the rare catering choice that truly works for every guest at your wedding.
For celebrations of 100 guests and above, Bismillah's experienced catering team brings that same iconic flavour and legendary hospitality directly to your venue — delivering a spread so generous, so flavourful, and so beautifully presented that your guests will be raving about it long after the last dish is cleared.
Reach out through our Jab We Wed profile to discuss your wedding catering needs and claim your exclusive JWW offer — choose between $300 off or 10% off, whichever works best for your celebration.
Fifteen years of flavour. A family legacy. Pakistani-American catering that brings Houston's most iconic restaurant experience straight to your wedding.

Absolutely love this place and their weekend halva puri breakfast! I’d say it’s the best in Houston in that matter. Their chai is very good along with their dood Patti - and the best part is that it’s made fresh. The environment and the servers here have always been very accommodating as well. I highly recommend checking this out!
Good spot for Pakistani snacking! We loved the bun kebab! 9/10 Chicken Karahi 7/10 …
Such sweet people! Told them it was our first time there and they treated us very well with fresh drinks on the house and made sure the food hit our taste buds! Thank you for the kind hospitality!
Had a great experience at this restaurant on Hillcroft. The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The chicken karahi was especially delicious—authentic taste and great spices! The parathas were soft and fresh, and the grilled …
First time here and weren’t disappointed. Great menu and great food. Authentic Pakistani cuisine. Check it out yourself.
The atmosphere was simply elevated. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Dahi Puri was the star of the show. The bunkabab was good but if you're expecting Karachi mirchilis level you won't find that but good for Houston. The sev puri was decent.
I always enjoy the Diablo burger. Their " Chaat"is okay . Their fries are always spot on... If you like your burgers and want a desi Flair ,this is your place to eat!
I used to go pretty frequently, the quality has changed so much over time. The fries, burgers, and mojitos were all not upto par unfortunately. The bread was stale, the burgers had no pop of flavor and mojitos were straight up jaritos with …
Always a treat for us outsiders visiting Houston. Their food is always on point. Bun kabab reminded us of the old days in Karachi, mint lemonade was refreshing, and bihari kabab had balanced flavors.
The place is comfortable and cool and the service was excellent. However, despite ordering in a not so busy time, the pooris didn't seem very fresh and the Halwa was just average. Not sure how it compares to places in sugar land but the taste of the Nashta can be improved for sure.
Is it an omelette or a kebab? I don’t remember ordering smashed kebab burger with 90% egg omelette for $8.99. The omelette was paper thin that back of my throat feels dry. Even the bun is flatten. I would recommend Savoy grill’s bun kebab instead.
We went after 7 years. They had authentic taste at that time. We went today and it was a disappointment as the taste wasn’t the same taste and spent close to 200.00. We probably won’t ever go back. The food wasn’t anything to write home about. There are far better restaurants out their.
Amazing food and service. I brought family from out of town. It was our first time and the owner made us feel so welcome. Every dish was so delicious! We will definitely visit again soon.
Nice ambiance and service was adequately fast . I will give 3 stars for food though . However the bun kebabs were really good !
This is a great spot if you are in the mood of some spicy snack options. Huge variety in the menu that is good for all age groups. We love the bun kabab, chaat, beef behari roll, spicy fries and hunter beef sandwich to name a few. This time …
The reviews say something positive about this halal food store. However, I did not enjoy the food. I think I have to try again. The service was good and the place is somewhat clean. Didn’t like the rajkachori. The spice level did not have a …
I loved this restaurant. The food is very delicious. It def filled us up. The rice was so good but super spicy & I didn't expect it lol. I enjoyed the service a lot, too. It was our first time there & for that reason, he gave us 2 free smoothies. The man serving us was so kind. We will be returning. :)
For sure a lot of improvement needed in food quality, the service was really absent minded. Felt like plates were put at the table forcefully and moreover not even properly cleaned plates. …
My review is based on only one item that I ordered today. I haven’t tried anything else on their menu so can’t speak for it. I ordered a Samosa chat which came in a bowl with one small size samosas in it. The taste was quite bland overall. …
Visited here for take out while in the area. I got beef kabobs, sliders, and a burger. They accidentally gave me the wrong burger (I ordered Black Mamba but got something else.) Regardless, all my food was fantastic, with the sliders …
We recently visited for dinner, hoping for a satisfying meal. Unfortunately, most of our main dishes fell short. …
I want to take a moment and recognize this as a 5 star place. Not only for the amazing food but also the hospitality and service of the people there. Our food was so amazing and the flavor so authentic and rich but the welcome of the staff …
Love it. Have been coming here for last 15 years. Tawa Qeema always been my fave with paratha. Now we have more options, anday wala burger and gola kabab, super awesome 👏🏼 👍🏻 …
The reviews say something positive about this halal food store. We did enjoy the food. I think I have to try again. The service was good and the place is clean. I absolutely loved the samosa chaat. The Pani puri also was very pleasing. Next time will try their other popular items.
It’s come a long way from decade ago. Food is still excellent. During weekend- halwa puri and qeema anda paratha dishes are the best. For tea lovers - try the doodh-patti chai - it’s perfect. …
This is easily the best Pakistani street food I have had in N.America. the restaurant is clean and had ample of space to seat large parties. Food arrives piping hot and on time. The menu has a wide variety of items to choose from. We tried …
Came to Bismillah Restaurant & Cafe for lunch after church. I was very surprised with the humongous menu with lots of signature dishes. I really want to try everything being highlighted on the menu. I ordered a wrap and it was so delicious. I would definitely come back.
We have tried a few items from the menu. The samosa chat, Raj kachori, papdi chaat are all soooo good. The spice level is perfect. They taste freshly made. The restaurant looks great from the inside. It’s clean. The staff is friendly. Do check them out.
Everything on their menu is spicy or super spicy. We specifically ask for no to very mild but even the appetizer was over the top. This place is noisy... From their blender and customers, you can hardly carry on …
🤤🤤It was great I got a volcano burger( the one with the onion rings),the other burger was a black mamba burger and the kids got a cheese toast sandwich all came with fries cooked to perfection. Nice and crispy like I like none were soggy. …
To level set, I go to the Hillcroft area for good reasonably priced food. The food here is good and the menu selection is quite diverse. The remodeled store is really nice and clean too. Similar to other posts though, I dropped a star for price.
Celebrate eid mubarak with coworkers. Great place for gathering. Clean restaurant. Food taste delicious. Price is ok price. Alot of options. …
This is one of our favorite cafes in Houston with some of the best flavorful burgers and fries! Everything was absolutely delicious! The mint lemonade and drinks were spectacular as well! Our favorite items were the ten spicy fries and chop …
Delicious halwa puri brunch. Tried their samosa and chaat and that was amazing too. Atmosphere was noisy and inside heating was not adequate but we warmed ourselves with chai. I will definitely be a return client
Food takes me straight back to the streets of Karachi, Pakistan. It came out hot fresh and delicious with massive portions. The hunter beef fries are a must try and they serve 2-3 people with loads of meat
Walked in to grab a quick bite, and my order was taken by a lady named Uzma. It looked like she was training the gentleman next to her. I placed my order and was waiting, and while I was waiting, all I could overhear was Uzma being …
I used to think of this place as a Pakistani breakfast place but they have no consolidated their two restaurants into one and offer a variety things on their menu now from traditional Pakistani to fast food. I'm not from Htown but we always …
We went for lunch with another couple. The service was faster than expected despite all the rush. They didn’t bring our drinks and we had to track down someone to deliver those. Tea was nice and strong and I appreciated that they didn’t put …
With as hot as it is outside the best thing you can do is go and get yourself a mango lassi from Bismillah Restaurant. The spicy fries are always a safe option to go with and the Behari kabob was very tasty as well.
Had the halwa puri on a Sunday and it was delicious. Also had chai (2 cups) and then a mango lassi to go. The people are very nice and I enjoy the food every time. I just wish it was closer to my home so I could get all the time!
Good food with lots of spice. The bun on the burger is delicious and the toppings interesting with cucumber and spicy sauce. The fries were pretty good but the hunter beef fries almost too spicy. Recommend you give this unique place a try!
HUGH UPDATE!!! This place revamped from the last time I went there. Really good quality food and the prices are decent. Everything tastes great. The inside has a modern touch with a nice counter to order. They have iPads for ordering. Apple …
I've been coming here at least 3 times a year because I live 50 minutes away.. I always get the ten spicy strips with the sauce on the side and fries, but for some reason the chicken strips and fries where changed it's no longer the same.
We went to Bismillah Restaurant & Cafe to eat Halal Beef Burgers. The place was filled with people who had come to enjoy Halal food. We placed order of Rajrosohi as starters and was excellent in taste. We expected same in the beef burgers. …
The mango lassi is a must-try, offering a delightful and refreshing taste. The chicken shish kebab and chicken biryani are consistently top-notch, showcasing high-quality ingredients and expert preparation. While the food can be spicy, it's …
Best good I found in Houston! The drink is awesome! The burger is the king in huge size! We love the rice with little bit spicy!
I enjoyed Pakistani cuisine ,place is an excellent option for quick savory meal. Clean inside and great customer service 👌 …
Relatively new cafe in hilcroft with easy cafe food. Got the chicken Tikka roll, chicken boti, classic burger, goat karahi, and hunter beef fries. The beef wrap was little dry, but the chicken in the wrap and boti were well grilled, the goat karahi had a lot of flavor! The burger was good as well
The food is tasty, but I prefer more spices. It seems like the chicken boti was lacking that charred, tangy flavor. It was good, just not what I’m used to. The dal fry was also good, but something was not what I’ve grown to love. Their …
Ordered Qeema Paratha and burgers. Quality was good. Service was decent considering on a Saturday morning busy time.
This place has probably the best bun kabab I have tried anywhere in USA. Simple authentic recipe. They don’t try to make it extra fancy. Freshly made. …
The black mamba burger is ready good with 3 meats and 2 cheeses ! It was amazing! …
hand down one of my favorite spots in Houston. their bun kabab is probably the best I've had in the US. also tried the Raj Kachori and Beef Samosas which were great aswell
It's a great restaurant. Employees are polite and respectful. The manager checks the guests and tables one by one. Their food were delicious and high quality. It was my first visit, and I recommend it to the people that love hot and spicy foods.
OMG this place has the best Chicken Pulao in the entire country and I'm not exaggerating. First off, finding chicken pulao is super rare anywhere, you can find mutton option but finding one with chicken is a Unicorn. Their taste of the …
Amazing and delicious food, though i must admit it is a bit pricy compared to other restaurants. Definitely good to treat yourself once in a while!
The newly renovated, super lit, super chic BR&C is a place to be. It was a pleasure for us. From ordering to getting the food on the table was a 10 minute wait. Sodas & water were placed on our table the minute we sat down. Food came out …
Very welcoming staff, nice and inviting interior. I tried bun kebab and beef seekh kebab with paratha. My first time trying bun kebab, tasted good but it was quite cold so the texture didn’t feel good. Liked the seekh kebab more, homemade taste with lots of flavors.
Imagine being paid $45 for 2 people, ordering just omelette paratha and chicken roll, such a horrible chicken roll with over cooked chewy chicken inside…ordered for mint lemonade, you can’t believe there was thick mint chutney literally on …
Best Karachi style bun kababs here. We also tried Chaat which reminded us of the same papri Chaat we used to get back home. Also has a really good dining space. …
We had a chance to stop at Bismillah during brunch time. Loved their Paratha rolls and Chicken burgers.
My family and I have been coming to this restaurant for a few years now and the food and service have been great since we started coming. Nothing but good things to say!
Tasteless burger and over priced. Paid 11$ for a beef burger and fries.... Very soggy bun. It had all the water from the tomatoes and onion. More like Pico …
Upon trying the Sunday brunch , Halwa puri & Qeema Paratha was fantastic. Being From dallas this restaurant became an instant favorite for a Good Pakistani taste. Would recommend trying their food plus the mint lemonade was an icing on the cake. Amazing!!!!
Bismillah serves one of the best Halal style mutton biryani in Houston. We just love the taste and texture of their mutton biryani and the mutton pulao. Always fulfilling when you're hungry....
Volcano burger was sooooo good! Very interesting flavor with the Indian spices and melted cheese. When I saw the pictures and saw the real thing when the server put it down on my table, I wasn’t sure how I was going to get my mouth around …
This is my go-to place every time I visit Houston. However, this was my first visit after their expansion. I always loved their samosa chaat and 10 chicken burger. The burger still maintains its hype but I was disappointed in the chaat. It …
Great expirience, went here with my family and ordered the bun kabob, beef bihari roll, philly cheese fries and anda parantha. Everything was very good! The menu has a lot of options and I will be coming back again to try them.
Nice place for good Indian Pakistani style food. Chaat was especially good and mango lassi was also pretty good. Bun kabob wasn’t that great, though Also it is quite expensive
Supremely disappointed, there are much better places in Houston to go to then this place. …
I’ve tried the bun kebab, ten chicken burger, Bihari kabab roll, and Philly cheese burger and my favorite is the bun kebab. It is almost as good as the ones I’ve had in Pakistan. The ten chicken burger is my second favorite. The patty is soft and delicious. Highly recommend this place!
One of my most favorite pizzas in Houston. Love this place
Fantastic food, this place is literally amazing if your craving some good old Indian/Pak food that's has all the right spices and flavor this is it folks.
Putting Pakistan on the map ! Amazing Pakistani snacks and cuisine. A must try when in Houston, very good bun kebab, pakistani samosa chaat and beef samosas.
Bismillah restaurant offers an exceptional dining experience with its delicious Pakistani cuisine and attentive service. The ambiance is pleasant, with a clean and well-maintained environment that …
Really good. Nice variety. Goat was ok. Garkic mayo fries real good. 10 pizza was hot and tasty. Chicken sandwich stole the show.
I always enjoy their food, the most favorite is Beef Kabab Role.
Biryani is the best here but Pizza is very bad. Don’t ever try pizza here, its completely waste of money
I used to love coming to this place when they first opened & were featured in the Houston Chronicle for their famous Ten Spice burger or something. The place used to look clean and inviting; largely owing to the owner being there all the …
Bismillah has great burgers. My favorite is the black mamba. Loaded with so much flavorful meat, it tastes delicious. Their wings are also great.
Lets begin with Bismillah! Bismillah is one of the pioneers when it comes to Halal Burgers 🍔 , Papri Chat and Paratha Rolls in Houston. Oh! and can’t forget the Fresh Qeema samosas as well. It’s always consistent in taste and we enjoy the …
This restaurant had a modern look and a relaxed environment. The food is well prepared, with quality ingredients. Good service too, the owner seems to be attentive of his establishment.
Excellent experience, halwa puri breakfast, anda paratha, qeema paratha, and amazing chai. Do not miss this place for Desi food in Houston
Great spot for Halwa Puri on the weekends, fresh and flavorful. Can’t wait to try the Biryani next time!
Pretty impressed with the ambiance and food quality. When they say it can get spicy, they don't joke about it!
Always a great experience at Bismillah. I’ve tried everything from biryani to burgers to pizza and everything has come out great. They also provide excellent service and communicate well with takeout orders
Wow this food was so delicious. I dont remember exactly what I ordered but it was great and with good portions. The environment was bright and open. Very family oriented. Will be back for sure. InshaAllah
Food and service was amazing, specially gola kabab, and hunter beef fries
The food was delicious! I literally want to eat there every day to try everything on the menu. There mint lemonade is off the hook. Must go and must try.
For a place famed for serving traditional Pakistani dishes, the best part of our meal were the French fries. Paratha too thick and cold. Kebab was plastic to taste and texture - very poor …
Full review on my YouTube Channel-HALAL DIGEST of the amazing 10 chicken burger(nashvill spicy chicken style) and the the CHOP Shop burger.
Chop shop burger is what i recommend! My brother had the patty melt and my dad had the bun kebab and no one had anything bad to say Alhumdulillah!
Just went there for a quick bite and ordered samosas, the samosas csme quicklt in just few mins but the looks of samosa were reallt bad and also asked the waiter to bring raita and asked them twice but for the next 15 mins continues to eat samosa lightly but raita never came
Ordered the Hunter Beef pizza to-go. Came home after a 50 minute drive to find a completely burnt pizza! Unfortunately I trashed it before remembering to get a picture of the whole pizza, the r tire crust was burnt black, not even dark brown and they charged over $30 for 1 pizza! Deliver good quality if you charge for it!
Stopped by for light snacks and ordered pani puri and mixed papri chaat. Chaat - 5/5 good quantity and taste Pani Puri - 3/5 (6 puri with handful of chnnay and a lot of spice in pani). The quantity does not justify the price.
It was my third time visiting this place . They have no idea how food is cooked and should taste. It was all garbage. On top servers try to squeeze in open drinks and tea at the corners of table. Are you guys in food busines??? Shame
The ten chicken sandwich will forever be my favorite
Paratha and omelet were really good. Choley needs little improvement. Service was great and quick
Extremely delicious food, very friendly staff and quick service. This place is super clean. The food was on point, everything on the menu is super delicious. Will definitely go back.
Bismillah Restaurant has excellent customer service! Their bun kababs are hands down the best in Houston, and I absolutely love their refreshing mint lemonade. They even surprised us with complimentary lassi today—such a thoughtful gesture. Highly recommend!
Love everything about this place. The food, the vibe, the service, the friendly owners. One of the oldest restaurants in Houston and still one of the favorites. Definitely a must try for halwa puri nashta.
I went yesterday, As always food was delicious. Their special beef burgers reminding us our back home (karachi), Chaat and fries are awsome too. Their goat biryani was finished at the end of the day thatswhy I could not try it. InshaAllah we will come back and try some other dishes too.
Gentleman I spoke with was super professional and nice! Offered me a drink while I was picking up an order and told me about a place they’re opening up a few doors down for teas when I asked if they had boba drinks. He made me frozen a mango juice, it’s delicious!!
We got the patty melt, bun kebab, and both were okay, nothing special. We also got the halwa puri which was better, and we got the regular chai and it was like water for $2.50.
The burgers are excellent! I am taking off a star for the price and the chaos at the restaurant. The price is a little at the higher end as compared to the service. …
The new renovated place is so good and menu increase is tasty. From their pani puri chana chaat to their burgers pizza spicy fries everything is tasty. They also have pulao which is equally tasty and really like the fresh juices and shakes so yummy
Bismillah Café is always perfection. I took a coworker to Bismillah after a work errand who has never had Pakistani …
Overpriced. I have had better Daal and Karahi elsewhere. Coconut water was 5.99 and they dont even cut it for you. They give you plastic utensils to cut it!
Average tasting tasting food. Ordered Fish curry which was a bit lacking in flavour an too watery. The rotis were fresh and tasty
This place was awesome! Rich flavors and lots of options you won't find at an Americanized Indian or Pakistani restaurant.
I come here mainly for the fries. They have a large variety of toppings you have to try them all.
Excellent Pakistani Breakfast (Halwa Puri). I have tried it multiple times and i found it to be better than even some places in Lahore. I once tried Saag which had too much garlic for my taste. Haven’t tried other things so can’t really vouch for their quality.
We ordered anda paratha, seekh kabab, regular bun kabab, roti. Soo good!! The chai was also amazing. The restaurant can be a bit cleaner, imo.
Must try !!! Especially hunter beef fries...
Food is always consistent and always good. I usually go for their kabab wraps and their chats. This time I got their burger and it wasn't my favorite. But the food is always consistent, spicy and delicious. Great customer service!
Have not had a chance to eat here in a few years . I was pleasantly surprised that the quality of the food was the same as when their parents ran the restaurant 😊 …
Ordered tikka paratha wrap, asked for everything on it, but it came plain. Ended up being very dry since there was no sauce. Fries were delicious as always. Husband ordered his regular chicken sandwich with masala fries. He enjoyed his food as normal.
A fresh, lighter variety of curries compared to the typical Indian restaurant 👳♂️ The only thing that really needs work is the English-style milk tea: we want Chai! ☕ …
Wide selection of gourmet burgers. Place is new and clean. Beef burger with mango habanero sauce is a must try for spicy food lovers!
Nice Halal food , ask them if you don’t like spicy food .. nice fresh juice.. very professional Management team .. ii recommend to visit
A nice halal food spot active for more than a decade. Generous portions! Loved their goat karahi and naan. Surprisingly they have pretty good pizza which only comes in extra large size. The service and atmosphere is also quite decent, not the most luxurious or flashy place but a nice spot for good food, affordability and a cozy aura!
Good food for good price. Had family birthday get together. Ali from the cafe even refunded the money for Karhai Gosht for not tasting right. Excellent customer service.
Your tea for which you are charging $2.50 per cup is terrible. Its basically yellow water that you are selling, shamefully labeling it as tea. …
The food quality was just okay. There was no decent place to sit, and the utensils were quite worn out. Tea was served before the snacks, which felt a bit disorganized. Overall, the experience was chaotic. I don’t plan to visit again and wouldn’t recommend it to others.
This location deserves five stars, so let me take a time to say that. not just because of the incredible food, but also because of the warmth and friendliness of the locals. Although the quality of our cuisine was amazing and the flavor was …
Food was great. So was the service.
Fantastic place and I highly recommend the food. The ten spicy items are amazing. Also try the donut burger if it's available
Service was amazing, when they brought me my smoothie, I asked why it wasnt purple like on the poster they had displayed and they said something about the blueberries not being xyz. They come back with my food and then they offer me to make …
I took my friend, who came from overseas to serve him lunch. The food was good but was not the actual value of money. The most upsetting was the attitude of the middle-aged person sitting on the …
I had an excellent breakfast at this place! The food was delicious, well-prepared, and truly hit the spot. The ambiance was inviting and comfortable, making it a great place to start the day. The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to …
Good place, quick service, fair prices for really good food. Lot of regular desi options along with burgers, wings and fries etc.
It was all burnt from the inside, I could taste the burns. The receptionist said sit down and I'll let you know when I told him it's all burned. He is not capable enough to resolve the issue at the spot. Utterly disappointed.
Best aloo samosa in town! Crispy, perfectly spiced, and absolutely delicious. Had an amazing experience—will definitely be coming back!
The meal was certainly a delightful experience overall. I would gladly recommend this food to anyone seeking a memorable meal.
Can't say enough of how good everything thing is . Amazing food, service, and atmosphere. …
Self services no good food looks like kind of frozen warm outside and cold inside I was Oder five different dishes none of them testy not good taste did not like it not going to it again and the naan taste like store bought
Went there after a few years since been exploring many other places in Houston. Ordered grill chicken roll and one serving of halwa puri.. …
Excellent food! Specially kebab rolls!
I am so disappointed and upset that I have to leave a bad review for this place. The restaurant was crawling with roaches. We came here after almost a year and we brought my parents who are visiting from Pakistan. I wish we had gone …
Terrible pizza. They used to be one of the best few years ago. Now they use a frozen dough and that really ruins the taste. I've ordered pizza a few times in the last couple years and it's been terrible each time.
Very elegant people and food is fresh and very tasty also very nice environment and service was very well we got a big dinner for our family I would recommend people who want to enjoy food with their family or friends must try their food...specially thanks for Huma and yousuf. 5 stat.......
It's not worth the money spent there, when I ordered chicken karhai the plate was small and full of bones.
We had a great experience with the food, enjoying the best quality and taste. The service was impressive and we found the place to be clean. This place really amazed us, especially when we were craving delicious Indian/Pakistani cuisine. Every dish we tried was spectacular and definitely worth experiencing.
Today we ordered bun kebabs, Aloo samosay and chicken nuggets and regular tea. Aloo samosay and bun kebabs were not fresh and tasted bad. Perhaps these were …
I was excited to try this place. The service and atmosphere were decent, but the food didn't live up to my expectations. The ingredients that they used tasted as if it was right out of the packages. You can tell when something is made from …
I’ve been a customer here for the past 9 years. Food has always been consistent, but the prices have become unjustifiable. It was $6 for bacon on 1 Burger, the burger itself was $11 (total $17). It doesn’t make much sense to pay more than …
This food was out of this world delicious Alhumdulilah
What can I say about this place that hasn't already been said? It used to be more of a hole than the wall type place and it's grown …
Conveniently located in the little southeast Asia town of Houston, this place has been in business for 20 years. Beautifully decorated with colors, lights, and murals, it has lots of daylight coming from glass windows all across the …
Service wasn't that great , but the food was very flavorful and very good amount I liked it but didn't love it a tiny spicy for my liking but still good , but what I had was good but is more like they put lots lots of spices ,but I would still recommend it felt like I was a home cooked meal so I did appreciate that .
Complete rip off. The food is way overpriced for the quantity and quality. We ordered breakfast items - not sure what the hype was about the renovated version of this place. Should have stuck with going to Aga’s- they are about 60% of the price and the quality is always consistent.
Great place for snacks and take out!
Lassi n Chai were good. Parata keema was great. Occasionally they have gurda (kidney) masala which is exceptionally good.
Not worth the hype We ordered eggs, qeema, paratha, Chana puri Staff was welcoming and nice. …
Came in to taste the highly recommended biriyani, and can vouch that it is worth every word of the hype! The food was not oily (as the commercial biriyanis typically are) at all! It was …
Best food in Houston Amazing khownsey highly recommended for all Their quality and taste is outstanding That's for sure👌✌️👍 …
Very nice atmosphere and service ❤️
Had a great time at Bismillah restaurant! We ordered their "Ten Sauce" chicken burger and chicken tenders and I'd have to warn you it's SUPER spicy. I don't recall it saying spicy on the menu when other things that were really spicy did. …
Really nice restaurant to get mix of american and Middle Eastern food. Favorite from here was the Goat Biryani best one we had so far but little pricey but it tasted good but the rest of the items we tried were all little spice for us but …
We tried their halwa puri, Omlet Paratha & Tea. Halwa puri 5* Omlet Paratha 3* (Pratha was too oily also over priced. Tea 1* (Tea tastes like a tea bag tea from Microwave)
I don’t think we will be coming back. Hunter beef sandwich was ok. But the mango habenero chicken sandwich was horrible. The sauce was more sweet than spicy (did not have any kind of kick). Most importantly, the chicken was dry and hard/chewy - did not have any flavor. Also, the chai was really bad.
Overpriced I mean come on I understand it's Halal meat but the prices are too high. This restaurant is taking advantage of the whole "Halal" game.Every item is SUPER EXPENSIVE... and on top of all that the food is not good at all and way to spicy for any normal person to eat. Never going to this place ever again.
Great place for spicy foods. The place is well established and their menu have several choices to choose from. The mango yogurt went well with my spicy meal. The AC was adequate and the workers were extremely friendly. The condiments was …
The chaart and food is delicious. Our favorite is hunter beef though.
I'm not an Indian food aficionado at all, so to be honest we chose items that just sounded yummy: sev puri and mix papri chaat along with both beef and chicken samosas. They were delicious, and we finished every last bite of each. We also …
Went recently Sunday evening, not so crowded and we got a table right away. The quality & flavor is poor. We ordered biryani & French fries. Both were not great in our opinion. Food was cold. Service was not attentive. There's so many other places around, don't bother. I'm waving goodbye to this place.
Black mamba burger was amazing and by far my favorite. We also had the Ten Chicken Burger with garlic mayo fries which was pretty good also. I'm deducting a star because we drove 1.5 hours to eat there for an early mother's day dinner and there was no indoor dining.
I’ve been here quite a few times. Most of the burgers are amazing (ten chicken burger, black mamba), the beef and chicken Bihari kebab paratha rolls are amazing also. I once ordered keema paratha and was disappointed that it was not paratha …
Papri chaat and dahi poori should not cost anywhere near $10. They are literally over charging the heck out of people and the food is not what it used to be.
The absolute best food and atmosphere for a quick hungry lunch or dinner with friends, date, or family. This place was so good before and now, with the renovation and amazing updates, …
Bismillah Restaurant and Cafe is by far the very best desi hamburger and kabob roll place. I have been a customer at this restaurant for more than 18 years and travel from Austin to Houston only to eat at this restaurant. Food quality is …
I wish I could give this place no stars, I don’t understand the hype. EVERYTHING on their menu is spicy, except for the kids sliders. Unusually spicy! We ordered a lot of food almost $100 worth. While ordering I asked the guy at the …
Nice variety. They have a little bit of everything. Desi to fast food to grill. A little too spicy sometimes. Drinks are pricey at $7+ for a desi restaurant. The recent remodeling has improved the ambience but they could have done better. 5 star for the food experience in general.
I drove to five different places looking for beef and chicken samosas. Finally found this restaurant. The guy, Ali, helped answer my questions. I not only ordered the samosas, but I also ordered the spicy chicken roti. Ali advised me that …
Absolutely love the renovated cafe. Owners are always friendly and helpful. Food is delicious and chai is top notch. The walls look fantastic in the new place. Great artwork. And there is so much space for seating now. Well done guys!
Halal burger, Chaat, and so much more. Burger options are amazing. They have new styles to offer. Meat quality is juicy and we'll cooked. No sloppy cooks here. Price is just right for the amount. This is a go to place if near the area!
My views from previous time have changed. I tried a couple of burgers which were pretty good, loaded and juicy. Best bun kebab and dahi bara. I liked goat karahi too. Baryani was not bad. …
Food is legit. So yummy 😋 …
Good place for bun kabab. Other foods are ok. And yes their pizza is also very good. The tikka flavor
Visiting family in Houston, decided to hit this restaurant for desi Street food. Dahi bhala&sauces, alu Samosa and dahi puri were a delight and yum. Paratha roll was awful, Very dry, had nothing but an un …
One of the only few places that serves hand slaughtered meat based pizzas. The restaurant is organized and the food is delicious. I would have given 5 stars if their biryani was up to the mark. If you can't make authentic, tasty biryani, it shouldn't be on the menu.
My 1st time there. Delicious. My 1st time eating that type of food at all. Every thing I tried was I didn't think it would taste good but it was better then expected. Flavors complimented each other perfectly. Staff was very nice and friendly. Will return again Thank you.
Please tell me this is the same restaurant that was off Louetta? I miss that place
Bismillah and their sister restaurant Wok it out add to a lot of options on the menu from burgers, sandwiches, desi food to chinese/thai food. That's the main reason we go there. Food also tastes really good. They had a very nice setup during Ramadan for prayer and offered free pakoras and RoohAfza drink for every table.
Their food is usually good, but today we had to wait quite a bit for the beef samosas, and they were very hard. The dahi bara came floating in sauce - never seen that before. The masala chai was watery and tasted horrible. The aloo samosas were very good, though. The dough was as tasty and crispy as always.
One of the best halal food in Houston! Definitely stop by and grab a bite to eat if you’re in the area. They have everything from burgers to pizzas and the best aanda qeema and paratha. One of the OGs in the Houston halal food scene and still living up to the same quality and standards since they opened.
We ordered over the phone from our car around 8 pm and went inside within 5 min. We ordered 2 bun kababs. We were expecting to wait but they gave us the food right away. I wondered how they gave the food so quickly. Last time for the same order they took 15 minutes. The food was was super cold. Not worth to pay $16 for two bun kababs.
Went for the first time in a long time. This was one of my favorites years ago. They have combined the two restaurants now. …
Loved the food. Definitely on the spicy side, but if you're not shy with spice you couldn't ask for more.
Overall this is great place. Most Items are very authentic and tasty. Chicken Pulao is text book perfect. Aromatic, perfectly spiced and tasty. Any pulao lover will love their chicken pulao. …
The best desi food in H-town. Always overcrowded. The best thing I could do here is keep my head low, order my food for pick-up go wait in the car for 15 minutes and it's right on time. Never had a single complain none whatsoever. About time they should expand.
I came here from Dubai. Been in dubai for the since 40 yrs now, which is a multinational country with different food cultures. Was looking for halal food near my stay found this restaurant. Ordered Keema which had raw taste in it. Paratha …
Visited this place with some friends and have gone back from time to time. This time around I ordered myself some pickup, aloo samosa, beef bun kebab, aloo chana chat and a mango lassi. Everything was properly warm, fresh and in good to go packaging. The mango lassi was refreshing and did not make the trip home.
Worst service ever. Felt like we were not welcomed. Started by standing in line to give order, only to be told that we will have to wait for someone to come clean the table. Waited for 20 mins and requested 3 times to get the table cleaned …
As every time I enter an ethnic restaurant and the menu is difficult to understand, I trust the server's recommendation. At Bismillah our host recommended two different chicken and rice plates which my dining partner and I accepted with …
The review is for the cafe part, not the bakery. Good food but limited quantity and overpriced. There was nothing exceptional about the food. I had a bun kabab and doodh pathi while my wife had the beef paratha roll and my kids had the …
If you live in Houston or are visiting and have never had food from here you are missing out! I have been coming here for years and everytime I try a new dish or my usual go to orders, the food is always spectacular! The ten fries, burger …
Bismillah has always been our favorite place for desi snacks. Their chat is great and their sav puri is like melt in your mouth goodness. Can't wait to go back for it. It's a little pricier, but taste and service are good.
Stopped here once on vacation with friends five years ago and have not stopped thinking about the chicken karhai and parathas. If we were HTX locals we’d come once a week! Delicious.
Halwa pori and biryani 👌 Excellent staff service 👏 …
First time here - and absolutely loved it. These guys are a gem in Houston and in the United States. Their patty melt is …
My favorite Indian restaurant in Houston. I recently moved here and tried out several Indian restaurants before trying Bismillah. I’m happy I found this gem of a restaurant because I’m a foodie and I love to eat. The only drawback is the distance. I live about 45 mins away but it is worth the drive for me!
Place has great food. Had the Chapli kabob burger with animal style fries and was pleasantly surprised and how amazing it was- solid spice with good balance and clean to eat. The mutton karhai and chicken biriyani were great too- tender meat with solid spice.
Great food - Halwa Puri is a must!!
I honestly heard so many great things about this place, so I didn't want to give it one star. However, I got really sick after eating over here. I didn't know or could even think that pizza could be that spicy, but it was super spicy. The …
Really bad halwa puri , especially the chana salan
Located on Hillcroft in India town area in SW Houston. The food and service is average. Would have enjoyed it better if the meatballs were not smashed into ground meat. Also didn't like that they call goat meat mutton.
I have ordered from here a couple of times in the past month for pick up. Food is good but the customer service is lacking and leaves a lot to be desired. The lady processing the pick up seems constantly annoyed and acts like she's doing …
Top 5 restaurants in Houston. This place serves nothing but absolute fire. There’s no other way to put it. You can’t go wrong with anything you order. But definitely try out the orange chicken sandwich. You will not regret it! The owner is pretty cool too
Great place to grab and go. Love how it taste like home cooking. When I crave mom's cooking I know I will be heading here. Quality and fast is there way. They greet you when you walk in and always happy to make suggestions to make your meal a one to remember.
This will always be one of my Houston staples. Can always count on good food here, whether it be at the restaurant proper or the cafe & grill. Many times returning from out of town my wife and I go just for …
Bismillah is the Desi brunch spot to be at, the craziest burger spot, the “I want on point samosas” spot and a Houston Desi institution. …
Very thoughtful and authentic style halwa puri and Aanda paratha for eid day. It felt like eating authentic karachi style breakfast. The quality of the achar with the eggs and puri was also fantastic. My family had a lovely experience and this is our go to spot for a nice authentic Pakistani breakfast going forward.
Ordered the papri Chaat which was good but very expensive(7.50$). The mango habenero wings, though they had a great crunchy texture, were very salty and had mediocre flavor; it was almost 10$ for 6 pieces (the wing size was good) but the …
The customer service sucks. I ate the "pani puri" one time and had worst kind of food poisoning. Take an appointment from doctor before eating here! …
One of the best burger joints. Really creative menu and everything is freshly prepared. Owner is always present and is actively involved in making sure customers have a reason to keep coming back!
Amazing food... It's like a Pakistani /Indian /mid-eastern mix... Really juicy meat... Not dry, great rice dishes. Almost forgot like the best hamburgers ever had in my life no joke super super juicy hamburgers better than any other places stop it. It seems like such a weird place to recommend for great hamburgers but it is trust me
This used to be a very good restaurant. Again used to be very good/tasty food. I ate there with my family (7/15/17). The quality has gone down tremendously. The mango shake had no flavor of mango in it. Over all the food tasted mediocre. Very expensive for the quality of food $84 (for dinner of 4).
Best Pakistani food in the city in my opinion. The Ten Chicken burger is absolutely iconic. Their chaats are a must try for an authentic intro to Pakistani street food. Honestly, you could get practically anything from here and it will be good.
A great place if you are craving for some authentic and flavorful north Indian food, especially non-veg. No other place in Houston comes close to the price and range that Bismillah offers. We ordered the anchari chicken, behari kebabs and …
First time trying Pakistani food and I loved it! I had no idea what to order, but owner was very helpful. She suggested a curry chicken (forgot the name of it). Delicious and not too spicy! Will be back.
Great options for all kinds of halal food
The food was ehh... Definitely lost their touch... the restaurant really reminded me of karachi street vendors...🪰Flies flying everywhere 🪰 will not be returning... …
Amazing Pakistani and Indian food. Along with some options of pizza and burgers. They have two locations side by side in the same plaza. The taste, service, quality... Is out of world. Owners are very nice and personally tend to customers.
Had samosas for take away the other day was given the stale ones the beef samosas for sure had passed way over their shelf lives. The quantity of filling was next to empty only few chunks of onions and thats it. Absolutely disappointed experience.
Great as usual! A must stop while in Houston!
I work less than 5 minutes from this place. I'm so glad I stopped by. I had 2 samosas, a chicken wrap, and Mango mojito (no alcohol). Everything was really good.
Very good experience at this place.Food was really good.We good couple of rolls bihari chicken boti and the chicken chapli burger. All really good. Besides this the chaat was amazing. One of the best in Houston at least.Atmosphere and service all good.Definitely highly recommend this place.
Everything they have is such a blast. The Karachi Burger over here is a must try! The food here is good too. The staff are nice and the tables are clean. I recommend this place to anyone trying the burgers or just to try the food!
Great place! I usually go for their grilled items but there are several great things on their menu. I love spicy food and their food is just the perfect spice for me. Bismillah is great for a day you don't cook and need something that …
Amazing Chop Shop burger. Great for families that have a great divide for eating Pakistani food and non-Pakistani foods such as burgers. Space is an issue on the weekend during lunch and dinner hours so either go early or late.
Best vegetarian food ever! So many flavors. The goat biryani is also a must. They are clean and welcoming and prompt for picking up food on the run. This restaurant my new staple.
Excellent food, but the menu is hard to read. Images of menu items are not labelled so you don't know what images correspond to what dishes. I ordered beef bihari kebab which was nice, but didn't realize until after it arrived that one needs to order separate order of bread or rice.
You’re reading and on this page cuz someone told you about them. You already know it’s damn good so I’ll give the best starter order if you have no idea what to order or overwhelmed with choices. …
We tried the CP3 which was delicious!! Bun Kabab was decent, and mix papri chaat was good but very spicy! Make sure to clarify with them if you want fries with your burger because they made it sound like they were giving us a meal, but …
Good food. Their band kebab burgers are delicious. Try them with ketchup and without tamarind sauce. This combo tastes like back home.
Everything we had ordered from this restaurant was very good; however there was an issue with 1 item I had for to go. We called them up and resolved the issue. Their customer service was excellent. I would definitely come again, and their food is amazing.
We were visiting Houston from Newyork this was the first restaurant we visited if you are looking for Pakistani food this is not for you I would give 1 out of 10 this seems like a place for fast food didn’t try burgers but they look good …
The food was really good I got the ten chicken burger I will say it’s a bit on the spicier side but it was really nice they had cool art on the wall and some really nice and kind employes
Every item was served cold and without care. How could fries not warm cold when you serve! or the burger patty!! And, beef shish kabob without any beef flavor? Will never return.
I have ordered beef bihari kabas and they have added so much spice into it that it was impossible to eat. They are Muslims serving halaal food but mistreat a Muslim female if not …
The entire floor of the service area was greasy. The place started to become crowded as the morning hours went by, yet no acknowledgment from the staff to handle the slip and fall risk was noticed. Food was Resturant Depot’s bought and cook …
Exactly 6wks ago..We(2+2guests) did a dine in..We were less than satisfied..but no complaints. Later, before leaving, I ordered a take-out..ordered(& paid up $15.13 for …
Ten Chicken burger and garlic mayo fries are the way to go! I love this place! Great environment and friendly staff. All the food items are beyond amazing and it's a great place for a quick lunch!
$8.99 for a mediocre burger and $5.99 for a bun kabab? Give me a break!!! Never going back to this place ever ever again. Just because you have a successful business doesn’t mean you can jack up the prices out of proportion. The most …
#delicious-food I was so tired, had chicken Bihari roll for me and my friend it was very delicious. My son bought chicken crispy burger he loved that now I will go to eat halwa …
As a lot of us already know the existence of one of the oldest eatery (Conveniently located in the heart of Houston's prestigious Southwest area) known as "Bismillah" where the quality meets value. Serving our community for …
Came here again after a couple years and thought the place was gone. Nope! They have upgraded and moved to a bigger place next door and now food is still amazing, building looks great and fresh and the staff was amazing! Never had a bad …
They just opened back up after months of renovation. Now the restaurant side is under renovation. The place looks great. Went for halwa Puri unda paratha and I love how their items are not oily like other places. …
Went there lastnight after breaking my Fast with family first time it was pretty good They didnt give to much karachi chicken an the briyani was good but too damn hot my son bit into the chicken tiika an he almost couldnt breathe the food …
Burgers are generally good but the Killer Philly was not that great. Texture of meat was almost like ground beef. However the behari kebab was excellent!
Nice friendly place to hang out. Their Pakistani breakfast halwa puri is good. I would say if you’re from Lahore Pakistan, you would like it. Their Potato samosa is good too. …
This was my first time coming after the remodel. Got my usual beef Chapli kebab burger. Ambience vibe of the restaurant whole lot better. Definitely gonna be visiting often now that I work close to it. Keep up the good work guys.
They are expensive.. 10$ burger with no fries and drink. The burger comes in an ordinary bread. The quality of chaat has gone down.. Come on guys.. there is no reason not to charge but there should be a limit for …
Great biryani and I haven't had any hospitality issues so I'd recommend it! I haven't tried everything, but most of the items I did try were satisfying each time. This establishment is family run and has been around for a while...there is a reason it's doing well - good food always prevails lol
Best paratha and eggs. Price is little on the higher side for quick food.
I had the ten chicken burger and my boyfriend had the bun kabab and they were all SO GOOD i didnt even need french fries with my sandwich cuz it was a lot of food. I recommend the chicken sandwich for anyone thats never tried pakistani food because it was an easy win
Amazing food, must try!
As a food lover and traveller I can bet you would want to return. Amazingly friendly service with quality and tasty food. 100% hygienic. Different taste buds might have difference in opinion for a reason or two.
Coming from Dallas, Eight of us visited Bismillah on Saturday 9/2/23 for brunch to a huge disappointment. Paratha was half of the size it used to be. …
The restaurant has been remodeled but the service was lousy as hell. This is a desi restaurant but serves no Naans and when questioned about it, the young kid gave us a brat spoiled kid desi look. …
They make great tasting food. Biryani is the best, portion is huge. Good Courteous Staff. if you order Halwa Puri, it is by order and an order has 3 puris. I ordered 6 Halwa puris, and ended up with 18 puris :) - owner was kind and nice enough to only charge me for half.
This place has been renovated. We bought mango lassi and a mint lemonade to go. Amazing tasty. Cafe style ambience plenty of people seated with food. Looking forward to going back and trying some food. Great service!!
Sueprb burgers.. mind-blowing ... But I love very very spicy and hence not for people who have issues with spices . You know spices hit you twice once you eat them and once when they leave your body .. be careful
Im a fan! Best quality, best taste, every dish a spectacular and worth trying sp Karachi style spicy biryani, pilao. Qeema paratha anda paratha saag chane kebab roll, if u r a interested in spicy biryani just ask for Leena Shah style spicy biryani but let me warn u even I can eat that without raita :)
Cons - not full service Pros - unique twists on otherwise normal dishes. Food quality is consistent and very good. Not very expensive. $10 will buy you a meal. Very accommodating and customizing.
I have been going to this restaurant for many years now and have never been let down when it comes to their food! They are very polite and respectful. My favorite dish was the baingan but they no longer serve that. Never the less, one of the best indo-pak restaurants.
I am a regular of Dilpasand but this time I wanted to go someplace closeby and tried Bismillah's Halwa Puri. It was a alittle busy for Sunday breakfast. We got a seat right away and ordered …
Excellent burgers, bun kebabs, and French fries. Place is clean and decently big with a very nice and quick staff. This place is a must go if you're looking for a good burger.
Overly spicy with no other flavors or taste in any of the dishes. Not to mention you'll develop a stomach ache and bloating which lasts for 12+ hours. There are way better indo/Pak restaurants in Houston area.
I ordered beef paratha roll it em sorry I dont like the taste it tasts as if someone has cooked at the hime 👎 Moreover the prices are higher comparatively …
Zero value for money. Absolutely no service. No one cares if there is anything missing on the table. We literally had to ask for Raita and napkins. Burnt paratha kabab. Everything is add on +$$. Bun kabab came alone with nothing. …
Worse customer service. I was there regular customer . I use to go to buy Phily cheese fry regularly for my kid . I live 20 miles from them but I still use to come to buy phily cheese fry. One day I order three phily cheese fries I did not …
Great place to eat Halal food. His menu is filled with delicious choices. The new remodeled restaurant is clean, well lit. Their customer service is awesome. Been coming for over a decade. Keep it up!
Guys be careful with these people biggest con artists in the industry. On curbside pick up and to go orders be extra careful. You will not get what you ordered and they won't stay behind. Also check your charge tickets they will put tip by themselves without your permission. Great con artists. It should be shut down. Hated it.
We went there last friday in search of authentic halwa poori breakfast. We were informed that halwa poori is only available on weekends. The restaurant manager/ owner informed us of the other various breakfast choices they offered and we …
We ordered 2 Bun Kababs but there was no Kabab. When we complained the manager said next time order order it with double kabab. It was not worth even a dollar and they charged us $7. We will not recommend anyone to waste their money.
These folks need a food truck! We went with a groupon coupon and had the most amazing lunch I've had. For non-Pakistani/Southeast Asian readers, this is not traditional Indian fare. This is fast food. We had the most extraordinary wraps …
The Pani Puri tasted like water with red masala, nothing more. Pani puri is supposed to have a tamerind and mango taste along with the spice, but it was very bland. We waited over 30 minutes for the food, and also got our Chai only after we …
I go for Classic Beef Burger with Green Peppers, Fries & Sprite, not a single time I was disappointed. Ten CK sandwich is good with extra sauce. And thats all I eat there.
Was really disappointed, came here on the recommendation of someone I know. I requested spicy, they dumped a whole bunch of shaan masala seasoning on top and served that. If you want to eat out of the box masala come here, or better still save your money and make it at home.
My gf had a bun and I had a kabob wrap. Both were really good, we just wanted something quick but everything everyone else ordered looked so good we wanna come back for a full meal.
Don't go to Desi restaurants too often. We were in Houston staying downtown and we wanted halwa puri breakfast. Food was good. I also got a fresh fruit drink and some Chai. Clean eating area and restrooms. Service was decent. I would …
Pakistan/Palestine Zindabad and get the Black Mamba if you love beef! Good fries. Little expensive but good quality
I always really had enjoyed eating at bismillah restaurants but for last couple visits I really didnt like the food. We ordered chaat n tikka boti roll n they were terrible seriously. The roll was having some kind of bitter taste to it n chaat was very watery. I had the worst experience.
I recently had their beef paratha roll and it was Delicious! Their paratha was perfectly soft and crisp. Love it and everything else I’ve tried there
I walked in there to place a to-go order for a friend of mine who is laid up with a broken leg I don't thinking you know maybe I should just get me something to eat so I chose their liquid gold sandwich now I usually don't like shells and …
Best food best hospitality neat and clean washroom and environment
Always my go-to spot for great breakfast options!
Went there after so many years, used to be one of the best but looked average on the most recent visit possibly due to several new same kind of restaurants around town. The place was over crowded and tables were very small, food taste was about average too so was the price
Some of items are Delicious like Egg paratha, family owned restaurant. From old to young all of them have attitude issue. They never never smileys face all the times look like proudness. They never accept any complaints, they think they always right.
Since the pandemic happen this place on food taste have been gone down a lot , they seem dont care about peoples food anymore, it's like they know that customer is not going to eat there so just give them some old and un tasty food , past …
There are better and less expensive options for halal burger’s available. This place is getting too expensive not worth it.
If you like Pakistani/Indian food, this is one of the best in Houston. With a wide array of desi street foods and some fusion items, you could keep coming here for a long time and not get tired of what they have to offer.
Chaat was excellent, garlic mayo fries and wings were good. However, severely overpriced $9 for the saddest burger on earth with no fries? Plz bring back more desi items such as chicken roll etc.
The owners and staff are amazing people and they great care of their customers! The food bas always been fresh amd delicious
A little bit expensive but worth it. Quality was great.
Wow! This place is awesome!
Pricy!!! I ordered goat curryas per the online menu price of $14.99, but, was charged $22.99 . Same was the case with goat pullao. …
Worst service with over priced menu. I paid $7 for a glass of mango lassi. Under staff and if you run out of paratha while eating you have to get in the line to place order for those. Would definitely not recommend to anyone.
Louetta rd new location bismillah cafe fried chicken burger w/fries $12. Very Thin chicken patty mostly breadcrumbs. Very disappointed!! I basically had just bun n fries for dinner. Never going back. I rather goto McDonalds & get mcchicken for $1 . Atleast there chicken Patty is thicker & will EAT by saying Bismillah.
It's okay, some foods taste good some way below average, biryani had no taste, no tandoor there so don't expect Naan or Tandoori roti here We had daal (lintels) and that dish had no taste at all …
I sadly do not have much experience with this cuisine, but I sincerely enjoyed the foods that we ordered! The Naan is particularly good, pairs well with any dish 😋 …
Food well below average in taste and quality. Overly spicy and lacked salt. Kids all with upset tummies after having the pizza.
Average food doesn’t match the prices. Very expensive for the concept. Not paying 25 dls for a pizza. Restaurant full of flies.
Tables and chairs were dirty.
Had the Ten Burger and Spicy Ranch Fries, it was awesome! This place is unique, tasty and a good value. Recommend a few samosas to satisfy a hangry appetite
Their sehri paratha keema, and anda pratha is on point. Aesthetically doesn’t look that appealing but flavor smacks you in the face. Simple yet complex. Highly recommend
Overall, the food was good. The hunter beef was tasty! The killer Philly was way too salty and the fries were cold.
The only reason I am giving two stars is that the food is decent. But the way the treat the customers and the service they provide doesn't even begin to compensate. They will be shutting down soon if they don't really start working the customer service.
Great food great service
Love their mixed chaat and gol gappey. Actually, their entire menu is delicious.
The place is a lot more cleaner and nicer since they moved into the new location. Service is fast and efficient. Food is excellent: particularly the burgers and weekend desi breakfast!
Food was delicious with perfect spice. Curries are sold for two and I came alone that was the only issue. So I had plenty for the road as well.
Very disappointed in their service as well as the food prices I only ordered 4 chicken bun kaba and 2 lassi and I was charged 54.00 $ which is very expensive with this amount you can order a good amount of food in any desi restaurants we …
The most delicious kheema I have ever eaten! Just love this place! Sometimes, it takes a little while to get your food, but it is totally worth it.
my favorite spot to eat at where not only they have traditional Paki cuisine but also exotic burgers. My favorite is hunter beef sandwich, & ten chicken sandwich, also Keema (ground beef) w/ paratha.
Never get disappointed with the food! Every single thing is so fresh and delicious everytime. Love the burgers and mango habanero strips.
Food is good but juices are hot. (No ice/not cold).
A must go Pakistani restaurant when in Houston. From bun kababs to burgers and from bbq paratha rolls to pizza...all great taste. Last but not least, keema with tawa paratha and halwa puri in breakfast 👍 …
I got their chicken burger and it was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Service was fast and as always reliable. Cashier was polite too.
Absurdly Overpriced. For the quality and quantity of the food, and the way it's served in disposable Styrofoam utensils, and the mundane ambience, this restaurant is way overpriced. …
We moved to Atlanta a few years ago and every time we visit Houston we go to Bismillah for their Bun-Kabab. Our tummies are full from the Bun-Kabab we *just* ate and I’m here to tell you that it is just as delicious, crispy, tender, soft, and perfectly spicy as ever! Thank you, Inam!
