About Bombay Chowpatty

Bombay Chowpatty takes Indian event catering far beyond simply dropping off trays of food. Their catering menu is built around live, interactive food experiences, allowing guests to watch dishes being prepared and served during the event. From traditional Indian street food to creative food stations, the team can build a catering experience around exactly what the host wants.

Their live-counter options include chaat, pani puri, dosas, parathas, sandwiches, tacos, snow cones, sugarcane, and fresh juices, giving couples the opportunity to create a diverse menu rather than sticking to a standard banquet spread. If there's something specific a client wants that isn't already part of the menu, the team encourages them to reach out and discuss it so they can explore creating it for the event.

For couples who want to customize the experience before committing, Bombay Chowpatty can also arrange appointments and tastings for interested clients. This gives hosts an opportunity to discuss their menu, try selections, and determine what works best for their guests and celebration.

Pricing is intentionally flexible because the catering can range from a relatively simple menu to a highly customized, multi-station experience. The team shared that their average catering can start around $10 per person, while they've also catered events at $180 per person when the menu and experience were significantly more extensive. The final price depends on what the client chooses to include.

Bombay Chowpatty also caters in a more traditional format through party trays, making the service suitable for offices, family gatherings, and celebrations where a full live-catering setup isn't necessary. Their corporate catering extends to customized Diwali and festive hampers as well — including large-volume orders such as hundreds of individual boxes containing sweets, samosas, and bottled water.

That flexibility makes Bombay Chowpatty particularly interesting for South Asian weddings and celebrations: couples can opt for individual party trays, build a complete catered menu, or create an interactive experience with multiple live stations throughout the event.

Must try authentic Vada Pav , sandwich, freshly made paratha, spicy pani puri . what I like is open kitchen. We went with a big group waited for live pani puri but was worth waiting. Very nice service cooperative staff. Must visit.

⭐ 1-Star Review — Extremely Disappointing Absolutely horrible experience. My husband and I both became sick after eating at this restaurant and have been suffering from loose motions and stomach problems. I am also experiencing a severe stomach ache, and we have been extremely uncomfortable since our meal. It is honestly unacceptable to leave a restaurant feeling this sick. Food quality, cleanliness, and hygiene should be a basic priority for any restaurant. We trusted this place to serve us safe food, and this experience has completely ruined our confidence in the restaurant. Management seriously needs to look into what was served that day and take food safety and hygiene much more seriously. Definitely not an experience we would want anyone else to go through. Very disappointing and not recommended.

Food quality is decent but quantity is very less. Even things like tawa pulav is a half plate of a small plate. Go here only if you are not very hungry.

Best street Indian food we’ve had! The food was absolutely delicious, the service was fast and friendly, and everything came out fresh. Highly recommend this place—we’ll definitely be back!
