I had the best interaction with Jorge! He was very kind & professional. I recommend this hotel to anyone because of him. He’s a keeper!
Kerry at Double Tree in Houston by the airport was working in the restaurant by herself along with bartending and gave us recommendation on great food but the restaurant was full and she served with grace and efficiency I think Kerry deserves a raise!! She was an excellent employee under stress and gave you amazing service with a smile!!
Not only is this hotel located in a convenient place, but it offers some of the best free cookies ever. While I feel that in past years, staff has been better, my most recent experience was not bad and is still worthy of five stars. My only real complaint is that I requested my room to be serviced on my second day and requested for it to happen after 12:00 noon. Someone stopped by three times prior to 12:00 to service the room. I admire that dedication but I simply wasn't ready. The bar service was wonderful, with an awesome bartender that was worthy of a 30% tip. The restaurant food was good, especially the gumbo. All in all, a highly recommended place whether you are here on business or for personal reasons. PS, this hotel will always have a special place in my heart because it is the place where I asked my wife to marry me in 2017 and she said yes.
We stayed at the DoubleTree for a singing convention. The staff is excellent!! The folks at the front desk were extremely kind and accommodating to a bunch of women. The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. I like that the bathrooms have the hair products and shower gel in a pump dispenser. There was also a dispenser of body lotion. That makes it so convenient. We will be staying here again for our next year's convention and I look forward to it.
The Hotel was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the service was great. The shuttle took a very long time to pick us up, however the rest of the experience made up for the long wait. I’d recommend. I was concerned bc the reviews said it was a mixed bag of tricks, but it was very clean and the hotel staff was very professional.
