This is now our "Go-To" place to stay when visiting our family in Katy. It is always a pleasure to stay here. Lobby and common areas are always clean even when there are big groups staying in the hotel. Staff is very friendly! We always …

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay! We chose this hotel for our wedding anniversary weekend, and from the moment we arrived until the day we checked out, everything was absolutely top-tier. I work in the hospitality industry myself, so I understand the level of service guests expect. I can honestly say this hotel exceeded every expectation I had. I especially want to recognize Van at the front desk. She was phenomenal and played a huge part in making our anniversary so memorable. She was warm, accommodating, thoughtful, and genuinely kind. Throughout our stay, she checked in on us to make sure everything was perfect, and every time we saw her in the lobby, she greeted us with a beautiful smile. Those small gestures made such a big difference. We were also blown away by the thoughtful anniversary surprises. From the champagne to the beautiful fruit arrangement, every detail made us feel celebrated and appreciated. The room was spotless and beautifully maintained. One of our favorite parts of the stay was the breathtaking view from our room. We were able to enjoy a beautiful fireworks show right from our window, which made our anniversary weekend even more magical. It was an unexpected highlight that made the experience feel even more special. We also enjoyed the evening reception—it was relaxing and enjoyable. There were several events taking place during our stay, and it was wonderful to see people from different cultures dressed beautifully, coming together to celebrate, spend time with family, and simply enjoy themselves. Breakfast was absolutely delicious—without a doubt the best hotel breakfast we’ve ever had. My husband and I travel often, and we can confidently say this has become our favorite hotel and will be our home away from home whenever we’re in the area. The customer service throughout the hotel was exceptional. Every member of the front desk team was welcoming, professional, and kind, making us feel valued from beginning to end. Thank you all for making our wedding anniversary so special. Your hospitality, attention to detail, and genuine care created an unforgettable experience. Everything was absolutely perfect, and we can’t wait to return!

I had a great stay at this hotel! The room was clean, spacious, well maintained, and equipped with a mini fridge and a microwave. It can be a bit noisy if you stay in a room facing the highway. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The complimentary evening reception, with free snacks and drinks, was a really nice touch. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of options, and the omelet station was my favorite. Parking was easy and convenient, which is always a plus. There was plenty of room for RVs and campers. The location was convenient, with easy access to the highway and several nearby restaurants. I would definitely stay here again!

Comfortable room.....make sure to shell out the extra $10 for an upper level room on the back side away from freeway. Only negative wasn't really about the hotel.... seriously obnoxious out of control children ruined the breakfast experience. People need to pay attention to kids or just take them back to the rooms.

Really nice new facility. Staff very friendly! Would love to give 5 stars but 1 elevator running in a Sunday at checkout time is not cool! Ended up taking the stairs from 6th floor with luggage as we waited 15 min thru 2 full elevators.

This was a very bad experience at this hotel. I enjoy staying at all hilton hotels. But this hotel put my life in danger. After checking in early one morning and talking to the lady at the front desk. I went to my room so I could rest. Upon waking up later that moment from a phone call there was a man standing in my room eating the food in my room. After that moment going to the front desk to talk to somebody. I found out that the lady overnight gave the guy a key to my room. I never told her that someone would be staying with me. After everything was said and done the hotel brush me under the rug.

When attempting to sit down stairs to finish my lunch prior to their happy Hour my husband and I went down stairs to keep our room from smelling like food. As we sat down, Alex, the food and beverage manager came over QUICKLY to inform that no food was allowed in the restaurant area. Ironically across the restaurant there was a male of a different race eating. When we walked to go to the front desk, the sign you see in the pictures was placed our by one of the servers. When I asked the front desk worker, she said that it was corp policy that guest could not eat on the 1st or 2nd floors of ANY Hilton property. I frequent Embassy property as we have a family of 5 and the suites they have accommodate us. The property is amazing but the service apparently for my type of skin color is not expected to stay.

Our football team flew in for a game in Katy and stayed at this Embassy Suites. From the planning, to our check-in and stay, Laura, the Sales Manager, took great care of all 65 of us and made the entire process super easy. Everything was perfect and we couldn't be more grateful to Laura and the rest of the hotel staff.

We did not get our complimentary Gold member snacks or bottled water even though they were supposed to be provided "in room" and waiting for us. Otherwise, the hotel was clean, up to date, with full amenities (guest reception, morning breakfast, etc.)

Have used this hotel on and off for the last three years. Have always had superb service and always impressed with the cleanliness, comfort, and maintenance program of the property. Would stay here every other week when I have business in the area. The issue is the security, on at least three occasions now, (last one was 1/15/2021 ), vehicle has been vandalized and/or broken into. The response regarding the situation from the staff in the past has been, “we do our best”, and at least a call from management later in the day saying sorry. Today it was at least 2 vehicles that were damaged and even HPD showed up to do a report. Not one word from management even after leaving two messages. You would think that the effort to do a little better with security and with expressing concern would be a top priority, but I guess it’s not a concern for this location.

Booked a 2 queen suite, have the confirmation email and get up to our room and it’s a king. Claim they are out of double beds. Now we go out to buy sine good and are not allowed to eat in the the DINING AREA due to it being unsanitary. It’s a dining area!! This place is a joke. Terrible customer service, oh and did I mention our room wasn’t even ready for check in.

This is a newer Embassy Suites. It's not open concept like the normal ones. The bathroom has 2 doors- a pocket door from the bedroom and a regular door near the entrance. No normal drawers to put your clothes but it's open shelving. You have to sign up for a swimming pool time. Overall very pretty!

I lost my purse and the service manager Stephanie and the front desk associate from the night of my stay thoroughly searched through footage and found it. I don’t know how I would’ve gotten home without them finding & returning my belongings! I’m so appreciative of them, it’s really good & charismatic people working here!

Huge plus ---------------- Breakfast with made to order options..6-9am Room view towards the road. High floors till 13/14...( For those who like) Room services and staff are actually keeping rooms clean. Enough parkings. Minus( could be improved, personal opinion) ------------------------------------------------------------- We had a toddler and he couldn't sleep peacefully whole night till 6am. Tv console could be placed centre,it's on a side in our room. 1 room King suite - These are small rooms overall ,so please consider removing single seater sofas - they are eating up space, we couldn't place a pack & play crib we got. Only shower - no tubs... Road & neighbor noise - not even mildly sound proof . Lifts are busy and only one was working today.

I wish i could give Negative ratings /feedback. The hotel is very old, rooms are smelly and dingy. Bed was not clean. The lighting is terrible. The AC motor is inside room so when you switch on the fan, it makes huge noise. I am not sure why some ppl gave high ratings.

We stayed here during the snowpocalypse 2021. My husband was driving around looking for hotels that were lucky enough to have power due to 1/2 the city being without. The lights had literally JUST come on when he drove by. The manager said they had just gotten power back and weren't taking reservations just yet, but he was welcome to wait in the warm lobby for about an hour or 2 and he could be first in line. They fixed sandwiches for everyone until they were able to get hot food prepared and had plenty of bottled water. They normally do not take pets, but because of the situation were making exceptions as long as guests followed proper procedures. Did I mention they did all of this with graciousness and smiles? Over 48 hours in single digit temperatures with no heat and water, it was our beacon of light. Thank you so much Embassy Suites - Houston West, management and staff. You are wonderful people. #HoustonProud.

Industrial feel. The "suites" feel like motel 6. Nothing like the photos. Entrance is bare and hardly any coverage to check-in when raining. Absolutely did not follow ANY COVID-19 laws or requirements.. The pool had reservation spots but when you walked by they booked it to the point where people only stood in the pool 2-3 feet apart.. Honestly the pool was over packed even without COVID. Overall would not return.

Embassy Suites by Hilton Houston West Katy was conveniently located which good food options nearby and close to my clients. Friendly staff (shoutout to Ndia) and great complimentary breakfast buffet. It’s a legit one too with a omelette bar. The only complaint was the pillows. They need to buy some new ones because these lack firmness. Overall, great stay at this Embassy Suites.

New hotel. They didn't have their s*** together at all. Employees were not informed about some features/aspects of the rooms for example USB ports to plug in a phone charger. They said they didn't have them so I drove 30 minutes and spent $30 buying a new charger that would hook into the wall got back to the room and they did have USB ports. The worst part was in the morning I tried to take a shower and the water was absolutely so F'ing hot that it was impossible to shower. No cold/cool water at all. I turn the shower all the way to the coldest setting and it was still scolding hot. Unbearably hot. Great way to start off your day burning your skin and not being able to shower. Not impressed I'll will never visit this hotel again.

We was celebrating our 20th Anniversary and needed to just have a day of peace away from kids. My OCD was relieved to see they take social distancing seriously, everyone must wear a mask, only 4 people allowed in elevator social distancing standing in the 4 corners facing the wall. Now as my OCD pre Covid had me wiping down remotes, light switches and handles they have a seal on the room to show it has been cleaned if broken then it needs to be cleaned. The remote is covered if you removed the cover they know it needs to be cleaned again, I wiped down the light switches and phone cause that is just me. I so can't wait to come back to this hotel when COVID is finally under control I loved what they did and how they treated us during COVID I have high expectations when it is all over. Also they gave us Champaign for our Anniversary thank you Embassy Suites for making our stay amazing.

New hotel but can be better This is a brand new hotel. Everything is spanking brand new from the check-in lobby, elevators, to the rooms. I had the premium suite studio king which comes with complimentary snacks. Excellent! Amenities wise, pretty much similar to the other ES at Energy Corridor which I stayed two weeks ago. Rooms are much smaller here compared to the other one. But this trades off with everything else that carries a newer look and feel. I really like the generous USB outlets in the rooms. It really brings the room up to the 21st century unlike the stay at the previous ES. Overall it’s a great hotel and has excellent accessibility on the Katy Freeway. However it has the potential to be an even better hotel if it can improve on a few things. Here are a few quick wins that the management should consider: 1. Room slippers - this should be offered to guests as the room floor in tile and carpet can be really dirty and uncomfortable to walk on. Had to bring my own slippers courtesy of previous stay at the JW; 2. Body wash- Neutrogena is a good brand of toiletries. It should provide liquid body wash instead of soap bar. I had to bring my own courtesy of previous stay at the JW. The last time I had a soap bar was at a Motel 6 and Super8. Totally unacceptable for a Hilton Group Hotel; 3. Breakfast- Really love the made to order option. I’d encourage the management to consider having healthier spreads and wider fruit options eg strawberries and other summer berries and bananas. Not really a big fan of apples; 4. Evening cocktail- would appreciate some sweet options eg tarts, cakes, puffs etc. 5. Sports drinks- stock up sports drinks at the fitness center. The Westin Memorial Park provides this and has raised the bar for its competitors to catch up. Hope ES will follow suit.

New hotel and great front desk staff however while preparing to take a shower found blood and blood clots all over one of my towels!!! Towel had not been washed. REPULSED. Staff offered to replace towels and sent housekeeping with new towels. Once he arrived he did not apologize. He grabbed the towel and laid the new towels on the counter. I requested a new room. Amanda brought me keys to another room down the hall, however so grossed out I could not sleep. Just laid on top of my clean gym clothes. Thank God I checked the towels prior to using them but what if I hadn't? Where else is this blood?? Did he trash the towel? I am here for business with three of my co-workers. One of them had stains in their sheets and asked for replacements and the replacement had lip stick stains. And the housekeeping guy did not know how to change the linens. Jordan and Amanda are great. Helped with restaurant recommendations and provided shuttle service for our dinner. However housekeeping needs to be held accountable. Absolutely disgusting.

One thumb up. They've had water problems where there wasn't any water there for a few days. Moreover I think they fix all the problems though they get on it. They stay on top of services. They definitely need a better professional cook or chef. Two thumbs down on that!

Stayed for 2 nights on the 4th floor and on the 2nd night our neighbors made so much noise it woke us up out of our sleep at 2 am. Called the front desk to complain and was told they couldn’t do anything about it. We ended up having to pack our stuff up and move to another room on the 8th floor in the middle of the night. Completely unacceptable for staff not to address the disturbance. I’ve stayed at many Hilton properties and never had this happen before. Would never return to this hotel.

We have stayed at this hotel many times and what happened this last visit is so unbelievable it would take too long to tell the story. Stayed the first night with no problem headed 2:00 check out the next day and renewed the stay for another night. Even called down and talked to Carla to ask if I needed to come back down to get the keys reswiped right away and she said no you can do it later. Next thing I know there is a pound on the door three gentlemen telling us we need to leave now we have overstayed our time it was 10 after 2:00 with a 2:00 checked out even without renewing I've never been told that. And it only got worse from there trying to explain to them as they're counting down from 5 minutes to calling the police to have us escorted out of the building. They need to fire the management at that hotel! needless to stay we didn't stay another night nor will we ever go back.

This was the worst stay ever! Stephanie the manager is a very sick and sad women. They hotel is nasty they don’t believe is proper cleaning. There is no reason why there should be hair in the shower, fridge, on the table in the microwave.BLOOD STAINS IN PULL OUR SOFA! Not to mention the do not disturb sign means nothing, our room was broken into twice and we were undressed! This highly unacceptable and please dont think complaining because that sick sad lying Stephanie will make up lies. She needs to loose her job she is giving hit a bad name. Really ridiculous the management team is horrible. They need to be fired because they do not know how to treat people fairly people of color. Being a liar must be a requirement to work here. Pubic hair in the fridge or raider pubic hair on the couch with pubic hair in the shower on the tables and etc! Who wants hair everywhere. Seems like they use the same rag the use to clean the toilet to clean the tables off ridiculous! The manager clear is one of no valor or class, she doesnt treat black familes the same

This hotel is new and has lots of extras included in the price. Our room had a minibar was stocked with candy, chips, Kuerig coffee pods and soda, juice, ect. The evening reception from 5:00-7:30 included free wine and draft beer. Lots of locals on tap; Ziegenbock (my favorite) St.Arnold (Christmas Ale was good), Bud, Karback (Love Street), and about 3-4 more on tap FREE. I had my fill around (3)16oz glasses, could of had more. They also had free snacks, pop corn, chips and salsa, veggie tray w/ranch. The morning breakfast was real good and plentifull. Omlete bar with about 10 items to put in it. Then all the standards; eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, French toast. Danish, sweet rolls and all the other buffet fare. Drinks included ,cokes ,coffee, juice and milk. The breakfast was excellent. The room was clean and new. The indoor pool was nice, no hot tub though. Overall experience was a 10. We will stay here again. You will not find a hotel with these many extras in Houston anywhere.

Look I understand we are in Texas, but I purposely chose a hotel that was promoting social distancing and covid-precautions. Unfortunately this hotel may have signs up but they are not enforcing anything and I feel incredibly uncomfortable. There is one elevator and eight or more people will pack in at a time making it impossible for me to even get to my room. Half of these people are not even wearing masks. It’s really unfortunate because covid aside- I’m not interested in people’s germs. And one elevator for 15? floors makes for very long wait times.

This was our first Hilton experience. I chose this hotel because of the great reviews. Unfortunately, we didn't have the same experience as most, apparently. The lack of attention to minor and major details is why I will continue to stay at Marriott hotels in the future. Yes, the hotel is brand new and beautiful, but everything else is lacking. Day 1, we arrived late, pulled out the blanket from our closet and it was covered in chocolate and chip crumbs. Gross. Day 2, housekeeping finally arrived to clean our room at 7pm. Really?! Day 3, no pool towels (noticed after we got in)😬the pool area smelled like rotting trash and we had to prop open all the doors. It was bad! Housekeeping arrived at a normal time this day but took our blankets and didn't replace them. (Also DID NOT CLEAN, just made the bed and left.🤔) Called the front desk and finally received blankets 2 hours later. Also, we had a premium room which we paid extra for so the kids would have some snacks and we'd have coffee. It was fully stocked up on arrival but lacking every day after. (They would only put a few items in tray after the first night, even though you pay for this amenity nightly) and several other details I wouldn't expect from this class of hotel. The breakfast was great though!

Pros: 1. Clean 2. Decent breakfast. 3. Free parking. Cons: 1. Far away from any points of interest in and around Houston, 2. The receptionist, Pierre, could not have been more disinterested and unwelcoming at check in. 3. Housekeeping only every other day (Covid as standard excuse these days).

***UNPROFESSIONAL DIRECTOR OF SALES*** I would rate this hotel 10 stars if possible. I love everything about Embassy suites for it’s the only hotel I choose to stay at when I travel. I recently booked 3 rooms for a bridal party staying the night before my sister’s wedding. I even stopped by couple of weeks prior to the night to make sure all my questions and concerns were answered. ALL employees at the front desk were VERY kind and EXCELLENT in the service they have provided. I made sure they knew it was a bridal party and even had confirmation to take photos inside the hotel. On the day of the wedding, we were taking our photos when a VERY RUDE lady, SUSAN FILLBRANDT, started yelling and screaming, clapping her hands at the top of the staircase asking if we were given permission to take photos. I politely told her that we were given permission yet she continued to BARK at us. We respected her demands because we did not want to cause a scene that SHE created. Her UNPROFESSIONAL MANNER OF DEALING WITH SITUATIONS ruined my sister’s big day and even made her cry! It is very unfortunate that she is placed to be director of sales, with they way she handled the situation. I even apologized to the kind receptionist because she works under someone so disgusting, someone who needs to go back to basic training. Very unacceptable for someone in her position. There was a better way to resolve this issue but in her case, she would rather ROAR throughout the entire hotel, allowing all the guests to experience her embarrassment. The entire stay was PERFECT up until the roaring lion ruined the experience. We are human beings, not pesky flies you can whip around. Would not recommend holding an event or staying here until the corporate has done something about those who they place in higher positions. On a side note: Weeks before the wedding, we have been calling requesting information about holding a dinner in one of their banquet rooms. We even stopped by and was given a tour by the SAME lady, SUSAN FILLBRANDT, who ruined a special day for our family. She NEVER responded back.

The bathroom is a big deal for me. The tub and the sink were backed up. In my daughter room the toilet was clogged and no one could help. They were trying to move her room instead of fixing the problem. 1st of all I paid for joined rooms and had to settle for separate. Then they tried to move my deaf child to another floor. I had to remind them she is special needs too many times. They can really work on being more accommodating for deaf clients.

I am a Hilton Honors member and we Always stay at an Embassy Suites, it's our favorite Hilton Hotel. It is sad to say that this was my worst Embassy. 1. The rooms were dirty, walls had juice/soda stains, etc.. 2.the service was awful. A.The bar guy was always in a bad mood (asked him to sell me a beer and he said that I could buy it in the gift shop, it was 15 min before closing), B. I asked the reception guys for water bottles, since my room didn't had any and they said no... 3. Elevator out of service. Anyway, I always recommend the Embassy Suites except that one.

This is one of the nicest and most reasonably priced hotels in the Katy/Houston area. They have an indoor pool, an evening drinks reception, a full hot breakfast included (with an omelette chef) in the morning. I've stayed here for three weeks while traveling for work and it's been a wonderful experience. Before finding this hotel I was staying at different hotels weekly, but this will be my go to while in Houston. The breakfast is top notch, the hotel is very new, the staff is friendly and excellent, and the pillows and bed are quality and extremely comfortable. For the price, I couldn't ask for anything more and the value of this hotel is FAR greater than other comparable hotels.

This is the scuff version of ANY Emabssy Suites hotel I've ever stayed in. For $275 a night I got the Motel 6 experience. Complete with cheap and lack of linens, cigarettes, and careless staff. Then, after packing up my family to go home at 3:00 in the morning so we can actually get some sleep, they tried to charge my card MORE money when I think I need a refund. We were there for 5 hours and it was the WORST hotel experience. Make sure to avoid this one.

Updated review 2019: We visited this place again after a few years. The place has gotten much better than the first time, maybe because we came back as a Hilton gold member. The room we got were greeted with abundance of snacks and Drinks. The room felt comfortable. The AC was just right, it’s not uncomfortable and muggy like some of the other hotels. The morning breakfast seemed more controlled. It’s not sticky like the first visit. We will definitely come back again. Upping to 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Original visit: We were there when the hotel turned 1 year old. The place is very new. We love this place. We were used to stayed at the embassy suites down the road but this year that was booked, so we tried this one. Everything is top notched as you would expect from an Embassy Suites. Our room was clean except for this one large sticky spot left from the previous people. We tried to clean it but it with no success. I can see why house keeping couldn’t get to it with one wipe. We only stayed for 1 night so I didn’t bother to call the cleaning folks. Overall the hotel room was GREAT! The decorations are very modern. Plenty of USB port on every outlet. Plenty of desk for all your stuff like laptop and places to charge your stuff. There is really only one thing that bother me...the restroom door. One of them is traditional where you can close and lock but the one facing the bedroom...there’s no way to lock it...so your kids can just walk in on you...while u are on the toilet...not saying that it happened. Also, careful buying from the shop. The drinks there can be expired...we bought a mocha frap drink and the Mr. pibb and it was a month pass due.

I love Embassy Suites. This specific one is really nice. Is fairly new (about a year I believe). The restaurant on site doesn't have a lot of gluten free options in the menu, but they offered to substitute the bun in this really nice Angus burger for fries. It was really good. Oh yeah, and free drinks with dinner (Margarita) during happy hour (5:30 pm - 7:30 pm) is pretty awesome too.

Nicer, newer Embassy Suites built in a differt mold than the usual Embassy Suites with large central atriums surrounded by guest rooms. My stay was a little disjointed but overall enjoyable. Despite being only 2.5 years old my initial room had a very noisy shower as the pipes squealed and this could be heard throughout the room. A swarm of ants later invaded our room necessitating us having to be moved-- the front desk did reward me with some HHilton Honors points for my trouble. Finally, we got a premium room and because of COVID-19 we could choose 5 snacks/beverages for free from giftshop. I thought it would be free but after checking my folio notices that I was charged for all the items. It was irregularities like this that made the stay less enjoyable. Otherwise, it's a nice hotel that practices excellent social distancing/hygiene in these unusual times-- applies to happy hour and breakfast buffet. Enjoyed the 1/2 hour of exclusive pool time with just my family-- be sure to sign up ahead of time.

I want to give 5 stars but when you book please call them to verify and confirm booking with the total . Hotel beautiful, food outstanding, suite top tier, cleanliness great, but certain employees that work there not so much 0/10. My brothers and I were suppose to stay there from 6/11 to 6/13. The front desk manager that was working on Saturday afternoon at 1pm accused my brothers and I of smoking in the suite, and was asked to leave the property due to smoking in the suite. When asked did the smoke alarm go off? Did you see any ashes or smoke when the door was opened? They responded with No! When asked how can you just assume we were smoking in the room when those things didn’t happen, she instructed the other following lady to call the cops and she told me if we do not leave her property she is going to call the cops.

Always a Great experience at this Embassy Suites. Pool was clean and water was very warm. Hotel lobby and common areas always kept neat and clean. Rooms are spacious and functional. Ask for they Katy freeway view, you will not be disappointed. Staff always friendly and willing to help. Best ‘free’ breakfast for the price. Omelet chef was amazing! Give him a raise. Always feel welcomed at this Embassy Suites. Our plans changed during our stay and we were able to get a late checkout. Hilton’s honors all the way. This embassy suites is better for families than the one in the energy corridor. Great location on Katy freeway and Close to everything including tons of food options. Downtown about 35 mins Depending on traffic. Airport 45 mins. Our go to hotel stay when we visit Houston. The only negative for the embassy suites is that weekday breakfast is served till only 9am. I feel it should be at least 10 am but I get that they cater to business travelers.

My experience with this hotel was not good. I was in town for a meeting so I booked a room for M-Th. Tuesday morning we found out the meeting was going to be much shorter than expected so I planned on checking out Tuesday morning using my Hilton Honors App on my phone. Well who knew that button doesn’t actually work? When I tried to work with the hotel to refund the two unused nights they gave me a refund for one night but not both nights saying it is my responsibility to stop at the front desk to check out and get a receipt. What is the point of having the Hilton Honors App and being a Diamond Member many times over if the whole thing does not work? Why put that button on the app to check out? If I have the app, why would it even cross my mind to go by the front desk? Very disappointing stay at what is typically a flagship brand for Hilton

Multiple reasons for this low review. Wouldn't have even given a one star but the breakfast was decent so I'll not give a zero. Where to start? Three adults and a baby in a suite. Two cups for coffee; no others. Overlooking a 12 lane highway and not a fan in the room anywhere, including the bathroom. Went to desk for waters and it was a huge inconvenience. Asked for a portable fan; told they have none. (Don't believe that is true). Asked for clean towels while we were out - had made an appt. No one ever came in. Trash cans were requested to be emptied - never done. Asked for room to be made up - never done. At 10 pm on the next to last evening, a knock at the door and a bag left with towels and sheets to make up one bed. Never ever cleaned the room. Desk clerk was extremely unpleasant. Said they had discontinued cleaning rooms until guests left. I could go on but it will just make me more angry. Using covid as an excuse to not do one thing for guests. I have stayed in hotels ranging from motel 6 to high end suites and never had such a horrible experience. Manager needs to get his/her people together and do some training. I repeat this because I was in shock but have never been given a set of sheets to make up my bed when I'm in any kind of hotel. Not only a bad reflection on embassy suites, but marriott group in general. There are thousands of hotels and believe me, none of the marriott groups will ever get my business. I hope enough people read this and if they have had as bad an experience as mine, that they will complain with their wallets. Absolutely disgusted with this place.

Worst hotel experience I've ever been too. Better off going to some sketch motel than to come to this garbage hotel. Service suck. Customer service sucks. The linen felt like will leave you itchy and it's like laying with sand paper. Room was hot and the ac controls didn't work. Rooms are not worth the price. comfortable but poorly received and humiliated our favorite hotel disappointed us we just got to the hotel room because we were shopping, We had dinner around 12am with my children, when an unidentified person and without a uniform knocked on our door to the room, telling me and accusing us that we were making noise, and I told him to identify himself and after that he told me to be security, I told him to please tell the person in the lobby calls me to my room, later they called me but they accused us without being able to defend ourselves, we were disappointed, and I will share my experience in staying at that hotel on my facebook followers page. they insulted us in that hotel, I will never stay there again, very rude.

We booked our hotel based on the accommodations…..2 queen beds however when we arrived there was not any rooms available based on what we booked. In the morning there was no hot water. People discuss the breakfast and it was a nightmare. We waited 15 Minutes in line to be told no pancakes. The chef was rude and absolutely no efficiency in the way breakfast is run. Not to mention the mildew in the shower. The manager, Jasmin or Yazmin offered no resolution but “thank you.” You can tell she had little customer service experience. I’ll stick to the Hyatt thank you!!!

Embassy Suite hotels are usually nice. This one is a bit more expensive than the local competitors of similar class. I got for the King Suite bedroom and for the expected quality. Unfortunately, this hotel was disappointing. There were long lines at the front desk every time I was in the lobby. The lobby is crowded and irritatingly noisy. I watched the Houston police in the lobby arresting someone with the associated drama from the family and friends. The pool is crowded, rowdy, and unkept (towels, trash, etc.) The elevators were filled with water on the floor from pool dwellers returning to their room without drying off. Children seem to like to play in the hallways upstairs, running back and forth playing tag -- not a problem really unless you are sleeping early. Also, there were ants in the room. There was construction going on in the room above me. They apparently had a toilet problem, so around 7 am, the hotel maintenance person was upstairs hammering, sawing, grinding, and scraping the bathroom, toilet pipes, flooring, etc. This lasted for more than 3 hours. I called to inquire about it, received empty promises from the hotel staff as they did not act. After calling a few more times, I received a call from the manager saying that they cannot pause or stop because it's a guest's maintenance need. I get that, but it truly ruined our morning sleep and relaxing time. I'd say if you have to saw, hammer, and chisel to fix a bathroom, then you should do it once the guests within proximity of that hell are out. On the positive side, I did purchase premium internet and I got about 200 mpbs download and 180 mpbs upload. Also, the TVs were large and updated. The AC works well. I'll avoid this hotel in the future.

Deborah Lowe8/13/2026

The rooms are much smaller than the other Embassy Suites and the price is even a bit higher. The shower design is poor and the faucet is probably the cheapest they could find. The water pressure is weak. The bed is comfortable but the room facing the highway is extremely noisy from the constant traffic on IH10. The breakfast is hearty and the service by the staff is friendly and welcoming. I love Embassy Suites but I will certainly avoid this particular location.

My boyfriend booked us a stay here for our six year anniversary. The staff was very warm and hospitable at the front desk. I wish I remembered their names to give them a thanks. They were so understanding and helpful after the bookings app we used told us that checkouts were at noon and it most definitely was not at noon.. The included breakfast was honestly one of the best, if not the best, I've had at a hotel. The mattress and pillows made it so comfortable and easy to sleep. So much so, that he decided to order new pillows after the stay lol. Honestly had an amazing stay here and would most definitely come back again.

If you are expecting a quality quiet stay, this is NOT the place. After several complaints, the front desk still did nothing to silence the neighboring rooms. Yes, you can hear other conversations through the walls at 1:00 AM in the morning. I might expect this low class facility from another brand, but certainly not a Hilton brand. For $200 a night, it is not worth it. I would equate this hotel to a $69 motel at best.

Ken Keith

They only had 1 elevator running most of the time, so at 4 people to a car, it took forever to get up and down. Broken toilet paper holder in my room. Screaming kids everywhere especially next to me. Now, when I told front desk about noise they did fix that. Room was clean and staff was nice but I think overall too pricey at 150 dollars for one night.

On March 20, 2023, I checked into the Embassy Suite in Katy, Texas. I approved for the hotel to charged $1000 pending on my credit card and $150.00 dollars on my Bank of America Credit Card, That was it. On March 24, 2023, Embassy Suite charged another pending charged without my permission in the amount of $ 734.70, to my Bank of America credit card which caused my Bank of America credit card to be extremely negative due to the continuous charging. On March 24th, I was charged an additional $1000 dollars that was held for processing. I suspected fraud at this point. 2.The issue is the following, why is the Embassy Suite charging me a (minority) a double deposit? Please explain. 3. March 22, 2023, I was in my opinion deliberately ignored when attempting to order a drink during the happy hour, the bartender served three Anglo Saxon's (male) before me per the video. The hotel management apologize. I thought to myself maybe it was only a coincident, but after being charged a double processing fee, my feelings have changed. When staying at this hotel, use one credit card because if you do not, you will be continuously charged. In addition, the hotel needs more diverse TV opinions. No Netflix or Prime options. I did not enjoy my experience. It was stressful to me. Instead of offering an apology , the hotel will need to create a resolution . I was able to complete my employment task but the unorganization and the repeated mistakes were awful!

Anytime I travel I look for an embassy suites. The rooms are always well kept and just like the name says it’s a suite!! Your not just cramped into one tiny room. The staff at this location was very friendly and helpful. Plus they have an open bar for certain draft beers from 530-730 each day!

This is one of the best hotels you could ever thing of staying in. The breakfast… delicious! Made to order. Rooms… nice and decent space. STEPHANIE, is an amazing person. Ask for her. I’ve stayEd here each time I come to Houston, for 3 consecutive years (and have gotten my friends to stay there too). I don’t leave reviews. So this should speak loud :). You will love it. It just feels like home away from home.

I am writing this review because I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with the hotel manager Mr Shabbir about my situation. I am a cancer patient traveling back and forth to MD Anderson in Houston and was not able to make a trip this week at the last minute because I was too i’ll to travel and MD Anderson requested I stay home … and Mr Shabbir would only authorize crediting me back one night of my 4 night stay .. wel &275 out of $1100 is not what I asked for… I originally called the hotel and was told I would have to pay one night and be credited the other 3 nights. I am a business person and found that totally to be a reasonable request since it was last minute and in no one’s control. however cancer is expensive enough wothout the non compassion of Mr He even refused to speak to me, how is that leadership? I have to comment on his staff via phone ajd previous stays at that hotel … they are a wonderful staff and great experience. too bad Mr Shabbir can’t follow on his employees footsteps. Not only will I not be staying at this location I will be cancelling my Hilton Honors membership and getting a Marriott membership they have been soliciting me for years anyway obviously seeing how much we travel. I am truly disappointed in the Hilton organization for having someone like MR. Shabbir represent one of their facilities.

Staff is friendly and professional, rates are reasonable, and the evening reception and included breakfast are always nice perks. The rooms have high ceilings and are nicely outfitted with both a comfortable bed and furniture. Large TV was mounted to a swivel allowing the angle to be adjusted for multiple viewing angles. The room was very clean and fresh. My only complaint is that the room-servixe entrées are lacking a lot. The club sandwhich is similar to one I'd make while in a hurry at home and the Cobb salad is very small for the price, or by "Cobb salad standards". The cajun pasta at the restaurant was tasty, and a good value. Overall the hotel allowed for a comfortable stay with good sleep had five nights in a row. I would stay here again.

I gave it a 3 because of the service I received from the first attendant who greeted me, she was nice. I had ants in my room, 3 to be exact in the entry way, the couch, the bed, and the bathroom. Little "sugar ants"! I told the front desk and they told me they had no other rooms available so I had to put my things in storage for a day! This was so frustrating because I had to pack my things up just to put them in a closet. I really like the Hilton and usually choose them over other chains, but recently my mind is changing and I may start giving hotel chains a chance to win my loyalty.

The whooole experience was Amazing!!!!! From the moment my boyfriend and I arrived (which he surprised me) the customer service was exceptional. Two wonderful young ladies at the front desk (sorry i don't remember their names) greeted us with smiles, explained everything in great detail and gave us a tour prior to choosing our room, then went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable with our stay. Maintenance was on call at all times (the refrigerator needed to be reset, nothing major). Their complementary breakfast is delicious and so much to choose from!!!! Happy hour was also complimentary with great drinks and the staff in the restaurant (Alex) took such good care of us, oh the manager came and made sure we were good too. House keeping was cleaning at alllllll times, smells so clean and is very clean. The pool was clean and had towels ready on the beach chairs!! I give this hotel 10stars!!!!!! No exageration!! I loved it and WILL BE BACK MANY MORE TIMES!!!! Thanks to all the staff for such exceptional custoner service. Signs, your favorite guest:-)

The room was new so everything looked fine. Yet it's easily to hear the traffic and the noise even on the higher floor for the room by the highway side. The room on the other side of the building seemed to be way quieter. Staff was nice but the evening reception was not to the standard of other Embassy Suites that we stayed. Only chips and drinks available with mini veggie sticks and dressing in the shot glasses and popcorns for the evening reception. Not seeing water, coffee or cookies in the lobby like other Embassy Suites too.

The first night, the room diffuser vent fell off during the middle of the night while we were attempting to sleep. Then we noticed the smoke alarm detector was just hanging detached from the wall. Immediately brought it to the attention of management. I personally felt management wasn't even empathetic of our experience, mainly because it was never serviced during our entire stay, that was from Sat-Tues. JMO.

The hotel was pretty. We did online check-in. The morning when it was time to check out I was not feeling well so I called down to guest service the lady who answered was very unpleasant and unprofessional. I advised that I was not feeling well and needed a little more time to get everything together to depart. The guest service agent said you have till 1pm if you're not out by that time I will be charging you. No concern, no assistance no compassion. It really took away from the physical beauty of the hotel.

The bed was extremely hard. The room did not smell good when we checked in. Room was not cleaned. Reported no towels and front desk clerk was rude. We were stopped going into breakfast area and asked to see our room key this was not done to others. The bed was extremely hard. The kids on our floor ran all night Saturday.

I brought my daughter and two friends for a birthday night at the hotel, hoping to let them swim and hang out. The hotel is new and beautiful but I couldn't believe that the Embassy Suites allows coolers, bins of hot dogs, and lots of guests in their pool that clearly aren't staying here. I even told the front desk that people were coming in from the outside plaza directly and no changes were made. I am hugely disappointed. i have always had good experiences with Embassy Suites but don't know if I will ever give them a shot again.

Both girls at the front desk are rude. I called the number and they just put you on hold. I understand they are busy with the storm but I’m trying to pay good money for a stay and they are acting that way. I called again and told her to not put me on hold , they said they are only booking for one night at a time “and if there’s availability o could book again”? But if I can book it for tonight why can’t I just extend the stay?? She didn’t answer the question so I said thank and without saying anything else she hung up. What kind of service is that ? I would been more than happy to pay to stay here but not with rude girls working at the front like that. Been without power for days and all I wanted as to spend a couple of nights in some ac no matter the cost.

We have stayed at this hotel many times over the past 3 or 4 years. Everything is always clean, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The fact that they have several staff who have been there a number of years, and who go out of their way to make guests feel comfortable, says a lot about ownership and management of this hotel.

Relatively new hotel that looks nice but they are severely lacking in the details and cleanliness of the linens. There were stains on the sheets and hair which was not mine. I called to ask to have my linens replaced and the replacement had a lipstick stain!!! And the representative did not know how to change the linens. This is extremely poor for a new hotel. I did not feel comfortable in sleeping. We are staying here for work with a total of 4 people and another coworker had a extremely terrible experience with a large blood stain on a towel. Ugh! The front desk staff is great though. They gave lots of dining recommendations and offered a complimentary shuttle within a 5 mile radius. Management needs to work on housekeeping.

Gustavo Alferez the bartender was an excellent bar tender!! Give this man a raise!. He made sure to help at any cost if my drink was empty he'd make sure to pour another drink and was very responsible for even being an employee for the embassy. He makes these other hotels look unprofessional. Very happy to be here and served by him.

We were leaving New Orleans and drove for as long as we could on our way to Austin Tx . And made it to Houston, it was only 830am and check in times are typically 3pm, I called and explained we would need to check in immediately if they had a room available , and I couldn’t of asked for better customer service. Checked in easily and quickly , our room was clean and we were well accommodated! The staff was so pleasant, and we didn’t lack anything needed for our room. We didn’t do breakfast but it was available and looked and smelled great along with everything being very clean! If I’m in the Houston area again I’ll definitely be returning here

We spent last weekend at Embassy Suites by Hilton in Katy, Texas and it was wonderful. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly, our room was clean and well appointed, and the great, cook to order, complimentary breakfast was very appreciated. We did not have time to use the indoor pool or exercise room, but we saw other guests enjoying themselves with these amenities. My husband and I look forward to coming back to Houston in the future, and will definitely stay at this property! 😊

Hotel was clean, room nice sized, check in quick and easy. Bar was understaffed and not stocked to make the two cocktail menu items we ordered. A car or rideshare needed to get around but there's plenty of food and entertainment within 15 minute drive. I went with the club sandwich to play it safe. The club sandwich was just a regular turkey sandwich with a piece of a strip of bacon that appeared left over from breakfast. Griiled chicken sandwich and wings were good according to my family. Uncovered plated food was being transported from the kitchen to guest rooms on a cart in the guest elevator with other people. Can you imagine a good hard sneeze or cough in the elevator while your food is uncovered? The man transporting the food wore flip flops and a T-shirt. Maybe it was his first day or someone brought a friend to work to help out. As we observed how the food was being handled, we opted to order to go from the bar and take our food, which was in styrofoam to go containers. Elevators were slow and guests were partying on our floor. The digital room key only worked once so take the physical room key as well. Breakfast was hot and plenty to offer. Omelette cooked to order is best option but you will need to add salt and pepper. Newer hotel, safe suburban area, clean room, comfy bed, easy check in and out where the highlights. Missed the manager's evening reception so cannot comment. Based on the highlights I would stay at this location again. Hopefully Hilton addresses food handling and sanitation and how to construct a club sandwich.

Absolutely worst hotel experience I’ve ever had in my 30+ years of traveling for work or leisure. My room I booked 2 weeks in advanced was not available when I arrived, I took a smaller room for the night and was assured my room would be available the next day. I wasted an entire day waiting for my room to be available, at about 3 pm I told the front desk I would just keep my room. I got back from touring around town about 9pm and my room was never cleaned or touched. Front desk told me they didn’t have anyone available at the moment to fix it but did have my original room available. Moved my family to the new room and it was dirty. I was assured by front desk that they would have my room cleaned, never happened. I was very angry and after having a discussion with front desk supervisor I was given 1 night free but when I got back to my room later that night, again my room wasn’t cleaned, the beds were made but dirty glasses were put back and not replaced and room was never actually cleaned. I was denied another room saying they did not have anything available. I have pictures of everything. Hair on the bedding when we arrived, green slime all over the kitchen walls and chairs, glasses had finger or lip prints and were not changed out. Most likely my last stay at any Embassy Suites, this fiasco seriously ruined my 4 nights I had in Houston. I had better service and a clean room at Holiday Inn on my way home.

Check in was easy and the gentleman was very friendly at the counter. The lobby was very clean and smelled freshly sanitized. I found my room easy and loved the perforated sticker on the door that let me know the room is sanitized. I recently stayed at the Westin and they didn’t have anything like this. It eases your mind a little just knowing they are paying attention to detail. I had a king room The room was clean and bed was super Comfortable and I loved that they had four jumbo pillows. I loved the position of the tv as well. The next morning I went to breakfast and when they said hot breakfast they meant it ! There was a chef actually in the kitchen cooking and waitress serving food and I was blown away ! Like I said .... I just recently stayed at the Westin and they gave the guest a muffin and cold off-brand juice. The only issue I had was with checkout, the customer service representative had me run my card again for $60 saying I had a balance left and the manager was supposed to come and fix it. It has been four days and the additional charge is still on my card. Other than that I would definitely recommend staying here.

WOW!!!!!!! Called ahead to request a crib, they asked for preferences. I.E. park side or highway side, lower floor or upper, etc. When we arrived they informed us that the bar had a happy hour going on. Free alcoholic drinks and appetizers for guest. We went up to the room to discover they had upgraded us without even letting us know. Crib was set up for us in the room. Room had living room, small work space, bed room and a bathroom. The indoor pool was great on a chilly January night. The complementary made to order breakfast was in really. Great rate by the way.

Front desk is super helpful and professional. Our room was facing I10 and incredibly noisy. Be mindful when before getting your room keys. I was forgiving of finding a used q-tip in the room bc it was between the headboard of the bed and the wall where the curtains are, but the tiniest details might lead to bigger ones. We had 2 families in 2 different rooms. We ONLY had the breakfast and reception together. We all got food poisoning. A gnat attacked my plate as u can see in the video. 6 of us had chills, bad tummy aches, and "restroom issues" I did call to see if other guests from Sunday 3/26 called about having the same issues. The 2 people that were with us that did not have the evening reception were not affected. Aside from that I did not enjoy the usually enjoyable cook to order breakfast bc each day the eggs were severely overcooked, crunchy, and brown. Also, we had to evacuate during our stay. We had to go down 8 flights of steps which is cool if its an actual emergency, but NONE of the employees were outside during the ordeal so to me that says they could've came outside to let us know it was in error or under control. I really love the Embassy Suites brand but this specific location is not up to par for me.

My wife and I stayed here for our 9th wedding anniversary and we absolutely loved our stay! So much so that I became I member the minute I walked in. Wonderful staff, gorgeous and welcoming lobby, 5-star rooms and service, unexpected accommodations and amenities, and a great location. They offer a managers reception every night and complimentary breakfast in the morning that we kept asking where to leave a tip. If you're looking for an alternative to spending tons of money inside the loop, look no further than Embassy Suites. You will not be disappointed.

Not worth the price though. For $150 per night I expected the service to be exceptional. I stayed there for 4 nights and nobody came by to give fresh towels and fresh sheets or to pick up trash. Do better. I only gave it 4 stars because the hotel was nice both on the outside and inside.

My family and I stay at Embassy Suites all over the country bi-annually for our family reunion. This was, hands down, the best experience that I've had at one of their properties. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the service and food were amazing. We hosted my stepdaughter's birthday party here. We and the girls were treated very well. Five stars for sure. If there was turkey sausage for those of us who don't eat pork, it'd be 6 stars. :-)

Room was nice, however, it was extremely hard to cool down. Our first night, we walked in to find a dirty diaper, beer bottles, and a pizza box. We went down and told the front desk about it. They told us it would be taken care of. We came back 3 hours later to find it was still there. They moved our room. In our new room, the door's deadbolt was broken. Housekeeping never came to clean our room the entire time. Don't recommend if you dont want to blow $500.

We’ve stayed at the hotel in 2021 with no complaints. We arrive 3/21/23 to our 2 queen suite. There was hair of different lengths and textures all over the tile floor of the room. The front sent someone to vacuum it up, yet we still had hair everywhere after vacuuming. They didn’t restock the sheets and blankets for the sofa bed. There was hair in the “clean towels.” I went to sit down at the desk in the room just to find a chair covered in dust and coffee grind looking substance. The surfaces in the room were covered in a layer of dust. The sheets had random holes in them. To top it off, we brought home CARPET BEATLES!!!! When I expressed my concerns with the hair (after it was vacuumed again) and lack of sofa bedding, all I received was an apology. No solution.

Let's talk about Ms. Meagan, she is everything! From her professionalism to her welcoming smile, her customer service is a breath of fresh air. Ms. Meagan has been exceptionally attentive to my needs and concerns as well as very accommodating although the hotel has been a little short-staffed. This has not stopped her from serving up kindness and going above her call of duty. Many pale in comparison to Ms. Meagan. She is a rare gem and an asset to the Hilton family. Stay rare Ms. Meagan.

I have stayed at this location several times and usually very much enjoy my stay. I am actually a Gold Member with Hilton. 2 years ago I gave them a 5 star rating. However, due to the treatment I just received today from Jason, Trevor, and Laura I have lowered it to a 1 star rating. The rudeness of their interaction with me during a time of trying to extend my stay another night resulted in me leaving to a competitor next door for my last night in the area. I cannot recommend this location after what happened and will be escalating the issue as high as I possibly can. If you read my other reviews you'll see I generally rate businesses positively even when there's an issue. But, I do not recommend staying at this particular location. The one bright spot was when I checked in with Ryan, unfortunately it was downhill after that.

I love this place the breakfast is superb the staff wonderful the rooms are nothing less than awesomeness. We went to the pool around 9:30 at night once we arrived the towels at the pool had already been worn the moment we got in the pool the staff came with fresh towels they definitely paid attention to every small detail. Really enjoyed this Embassy, even though my time there was minimal. The rates were very good and the hotel was very nice. I wasn't able to enjoy the evening happy hour since I had an event to attend, but it was one of the deciding factors in choosing the hotel. This is in addition to the rate and hot breakfast. I selected the 2 room suite with the 2 queen beds since it had the largest square footage of the rooms I was considering. The next morning after the event I attended, I had the opportunity to look around the hotel after breakfast. By the way, the breakfast was great since a lot of hotels had been doing the packaged breakfast due to covid. Everything was setup in chaffing dishes with also a cook to order station, cold item area (yogurts and such), bread items, cereal, and a drink station. The available items in the chaffing dishes were bacon, sausage, pancakes, French toast, grits, and eggs. The gentleman at the cook to order station was preparing custom omelets for the guests. I may have forgotten a few items that were available for breakfast, but overall what I've mentioned is more than adequate. As I walked around afterwards, I visited the pool, fitness center, business center, and ballroom. All of this, plus the hotel is conveniently located right off I-10 for super easy freeway access for where you need to go. The staff was exceptionally nice as well. Will definitely add this location to my list of favorite hotels.

My experience was quite good. Upon entering, we were met with warm regards. The people at front desk welcomed with positive enthusiasm. Service is awesome and rooms are well maintained. Unfortunately, we had to attend a party in the same building, because we were invited by a friend. Party itself went very smooth, but the waiting staff was a little unprepared and unprofessional. As I found they are quite recent, I believe they do not have enough experience or training. Another difficulty I encountered was that this place is right in front of a highway, and far from civilization. It is an isolated building. Standards are hands down the best. I would highly recommend.

The hotel was nice and clean. My only issue is at $185/night the carpet should not be worn to the point it has unraveled (room 1305). That sucked for my pics as it was right in front of the mirror. I haven't even been to a Hampton Inn that had a disregard for aesthetics, so to have that was a bit of a disappointment. Overall, I will say that I would stay here again.

We loved this hotel - very clean indeed. Rooms were large with a view to the Bear Creek park. What I liked about the breakfast was that they had a true buffet and didn’t hide under the COVID excuse of not keeping anything or pretending that you could not get anything on your own like other hotels in the city. What I disliked about the breakfast buffet was the same menu everyday - we stayed seven nights! Cmon you can be a bit more creative with alternating items.

It was all excellent, from the room, the service, free breakfast, complementary happy hour drinks. The pool and gym, everything was very well kept very clean. Apple and all the ladies at the front desk are very respectful and attentive, so were bartenders. The breakfast was by far my best experience at a hotel. I definitely recommend this hotel in Houston and I will most definitely come back.

The staff makes this place very enjoyable, Gustavo at the evening reception and the wait staff during breakfast were extremely helpful and Provided great service. The housekeeping staff ensured the rooms were very clean. Overall, great experience and a good value.

Everything good but 2 things: 1) breakfast doors during weekdays close early. If you are on vacation and don't have to wake up early you easily can miss it. 2) Couldn't find any trash cans at the entrance or around. It is just strange. Had to leave my trash in the car and throw it on the first gas station

This hotel is very neat and nice but unfortunately it didn't meet great expectations. For starters, our check-in time was at 3:00 pm , we arrived at 6:00 p.m. but we were surprised to have been told that our room was not even available. It wasn't available until 7:30p.m. Unfortunately, this caused conflict with our plans because we were not able to shower. Secondly, we requested for towels but waited hours to even get ahold to them and the ones we received weren't even the towels we requested. Although this is a nice hotel, its seems that they may be low on staff dealing with cleaning/room service which provides great conflict.

Embassy Suites is a decent hotel. It's like a self service facility. For example be ready to carry your luggage up yourself as there is no porter. There are trolleys readily available. Breakfast was a rich spread though always repetitious. Housekeeping wasn't always regular though I was later informed that I need to make a request when required.

We were among the first visitors to this new hotel and everything was great! The rooms we're modern and comfortable, the bar had great beer and cocktails and the included breakfast was much better than your standard hotel breakfast. We were a big party with kids and the staff was very friendly and welcoming to all our requests.

We had hopes of an enjoyable stay at what we thought would be a decent hotel. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The first issue was that the A/C in our suite was not cooling the room. It was getting consistently hotter. We called down to the front desk, and it took several hours before they sent someone from the janitorial dept to confirm the vents were indeed blowing warm air. Later that evening we decided to order food from the hotel. Everything was beyond burnt. Completely inedible sliders, patty melt chicken sandwich ALL BURNT. The patties were so charred it was like licking charcoal. I found quite a large amount of long hair in the previously unused shower. That night, the smell of skunk weed lingered into our bedroom all night long. The next day, we thought we'd go to the hotel pool for a swim, only to find that's where hords the mosquitos lie in wait for their next victims. The water was so murky you could not see through to the bottom of their 5ft deep pool. However, you could see tons of different hair extensions floating in multiple thick patches across the top of the water. I have provided pictures of the Absolutely FILTHY pool as I would not believe it without seeing it for myself. The mildew and dirt on the sides of the pool were so bad and so thick that others had seen fit to etch little pictures and words into it. We were utterly disappointed with the entire experience and would defined recommend staying elsewhere.

Probably wouldn't stay again. Room was musty. Digital key never worked. Front desk was very unresponsive (especially via the mobile app). Gym was tiny. They had a peloton but never bothered to activate so it's pretty much useless. No movie options or cast options on the tv in the room. Very warm and humid inside the hotel. No late check-out option. Just in general it wasn't a great stay. Free breakfast and happy hour is nice but not worth the rest of the negatives.

Well... Let me start by saying that this hotel is very welcoming and just stunning. Front Desk service was beyond pleasant, very helpful and gave such warm smiles that made this stay worth booking. They also had the best Lemon Drop drinks at the bar and great appetizers along with a EXCELLENT BREAKFAST the following morning. Made me not want to go home! If it was my choice, I'd give this hotel 10 STARS!!!

This is a great hotel. We arrived 3 hours prior to our check-in and hotel staff hustled to make a room ready for us. And it was nice. Downstairs is modern yet welcoming, the rooms are clean and well furnished. Sheets were more than good enough. If I had to make one complaint, it would be the barn door that led to the bathroom. I want privacy when I'm in the bathroom damn it! Overall, a well earned 9 out of 10.

I like the new renovations, very blue and cool. There's a lot of perks to the hotel: free parking as a courtesy, water, snacks as diamond. Recalling first time exploring Houston for business (long time ago)... although the decor was different, I recall service was top notch. One thing I would suggest is for the weekend daytime front desk rep named Stephanie to allow the guests to finish their question before interrupting to answer what I did not ask multiple times. Communication skills are helpful. We could have eaten brunch somewhere but returned to freshen up, and simply tried to ask if the restaurant is closed for us to order food. I recalled when I was here we ordered food at the dining area and paid with company card; but I was interrupted like she was defensive about it and persisted to erupt to repeat herself that free courtesy breakfast ends at 10.30am. I raised my hand up to gesture her to calm down, but she doesn't seem to understand her audience. So, after the 3rd time, I was able to understand that although I can order room service, the restaurant is closed during the weekend. We were in a pleasant mood, and her anxiety or defensive attitude transferred over to a bitter taste in our mouths. Other staff we met during the week was calm and courteous, this one seems to have some sort of anxiety talking to people. Perhaps in office position may be more suitable where she can converse with people she feels comfortable with and not guests. I wouldn't want my friends and family to be disrespected and cut off mid sentence to feel like they can't ask questions. I'm sort of glad I spoke with her instead.

I've literally never wrote a review bin my life, I've never felt the need, but for this hotel they deserve it plus more. My wife and I visited here on our vacation and it was simply amazing, the breakfast every morning was awesome, besides that it also has complimentary happy hour every day, the indoor pool was cool. Service was great, everyone seemed genuinely happy and sincere, room was always cleaned once we left for the day down to the smallest detail. I love this place whenever I come back to Houston I will be staying here again

When we arrived to the hotel and opened the door of the room, we smelled cigarettes, with a poor attempt to mask it with perfume. We were given to change to another room. The second room failed to meet any sanitary standards. The toilet had dried urine stains. The final horror was when I tried to relaxed in bed and saw spots of BLOOD on the comforter and duvet. Hair all over the pillow. Was there even attempt to clean? We chose this place as the reviews praised this place's cleanness and paying more than $200 per night, but our experience was so different from theirs that I'm shock.

I would have given 3 ☆ but they did do a great job of fixing the housekeeping issues. Breakfast buffet was great. Missed happy hour but looked fun!! This was my first time staying at Embassy Suites and I look forward to staying again. I have no complaints everything was great. The staff was both friendly and professional. The room was very nice, heated pool open from 6am to 11pm, the hotel offered happy hour from 5:30 to I think 7 or 7:30 of beer wine and snacks, and the best breakfast ever that included an omelet station, bacon, grots, Oatmeal, ect... In all, you get what you pay for and it's well worth it.

Overall, a great hotel that seems brand new. Rooms are setup perfectly with a small kitchenette with a microwave, sink and fridge. Bathroom was accessible for the master or from the main living area which is a great design. We could have the kids sleep in the living room on the pull out couch and we slept in the bedroom and everyone had access to the bathroom. Took 1 star off because they would not allow us to check in without going to the front desk. We checked in online, provided payment, and requested digital keys because we were coming in late and wanted to carry our kids to bed while they were still asleep. Having to stop at the front desk allowed them both to wake up and ruined our well thought out plan.

I don't want to put that this hotel was 5 Star because then I feel like everyone will want to stay here! I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, even though it was, unfortunately, only one night. I checked in and I told the receptionist about my mediocre stay at another Embassy Suites in the area and she apologized and hoped that my stay with them would be better. And it was. Beautiful hotel space, BRIGHT, not dark and muggy like other Embassy Suites. The pillows actually had SUPPORT, the bathroom was SPACIOUS, the television didn't take five years to go from one channel to the next. The bar staff were very kind (the music selection they had going on a portable speaker wasn't that great, though) and attentive. I didn't use the gym or pool, but they seemed to be very nice. The hotel also had nice patio areas next to the pool and restaurant so you could sit outside once the sun was going down. I really enjoyed my stay here and am sad that I didn't choose this hotel for my longer stay in the Houston area. I hope to be back!

Kids love breakfast here (some of whom bring "theirs" now)! Unfortunately, the expansive ground floor for kids to run around has shrunk with the new architecture. Staff very helpful for vacationing families but, of course, this location is far from the traditional tourist traps in Bayou City.

Wonderful experience! Very affordable rate! Susan and the other members of her team were welcoming and attentive. Our room was exactly what we wanted, clean, quiet, and comfortable. We had a delicious made to order breakfast the next morning that was included with our stay. To demonstrate how caring the folks at Embassy suites are, let me share this..some cruel person "dumped" a sweet little puppy in their parking lot! Susan saw the puppy running after the car. She and the GM took the puppy in and "Katy" now has a loving home. I am so impressed with the kindness the Embassy suites staff showed to that little puppy.

Very disappointed in this location. I paid extra for the Keurig/Snacks and even added a late check out. When we first arrived we noticed a couple of things in the room so we called front desk. One of the lamp shades was broken and hanging by a thread. Also, the remotes weren’t working so I wanted to make sure that we weren’t charged for any of that. We did go to the bar that night which was the only highlight of our stay. The gentleman at the bar was fantastic and his old fashioned cocktails were amazing. The following morning, we tried firing up the Keurig and it wasn’t working either. I went downstairs and spoke to a young female at reception. She made a note of my room number but said she can’t do anything until someone else came in. We left for the morning and came back around 12 PM when our keys were deactivated even after purchasing the late check out. We left shortly after. Hopefully this was a fluke but we won’t be coming back here.

I was profoundly disappointed and disgusted with the level of customer service my husband and I received during our recent stay at this location. Our experience was far below the standards we have come to expect from Hilton. On our recent stay, we were unable to get a quality night’s sleep due to the presence of a baseball team on our floor (Floor 15). The noise was incessant and made it impossible for us to rest. When I brought this issue to the attention of the manager, Stephanie Vesaquez, the next day, I was met with a shocking lack of empathy. Instead of offering an apology or a solution, she blamed me for booking during a time when, according to her, "we always have several teams staying with us during the summer," as though I should have been aware of this. As we were checking out, I mentioned that we would need some service recovery points. Instead of addressing my concerns professionally, Stephanie seemed surprised that I knew about service recovery points and questioned whether I worked for Hilton. When I explained that I did not but had been a Hilton Honors member since 2012, she then berated me for being a Silver member, rudely asking why I wasn't a Gold member then. This line of questioning was completely inappropriate and none of her business. There is absolutely no issue with being a Silver member, and her condescending manner was appalling. This encounter was particularly disheartening as I chose this location to celebrate my husband’s birthday, expecting the high standards of excellence that Hilton is known for. Instead, Stephanie’s lack of professionalism and empathy turned an already unpleasant situation into a deeply negative experience. As a manager, she should possess strong conflict resolution skills and a customer-focused attitude, both of which were glaringly absent. If you are considering staying at this hotel during the summer, be aware that, as Stephanie mentioned, they often host teams, which means your peace and sleep may be compromised. If you value rest and a peaceful environment, I recommend looking elsewhere. Embassy Suites in Spring, for instance, has excellent reviews and might offer the kind of experience one would expect from a Hilton property. I read a review where someone said staff constantly TEXTED HER to make sure she was enjoying her stay...WHAT???? This is definitely not standard service as not everyone gets this treatment, I PUT MY LIFE ON IT. I did not and would not imagine if you booked you would either. Given this experience, I will not be returning to Embassy Suites - Katy location and will advise others to avoid it as well. I hope this feedback will lead to improvements in customer service training, particularly in empathy and conflict resolution, to prevent such disappointing experiences in the future.

I have been traveling on business for the past few years. In December 2020, Houston became an area I would be visiting on a regular monthly basis and is when I first stayed at the Embassy Houston West - Katy property. When you travel as much as I do, you hope to find a hotel that can feel like home and the entire staff here does just that! The same friendly faces are there to welcome me each time to ensure my stay is top notch, despite the mask covered faces, you can see everyone smile shine through. The absolute highlight of my stay every visit is Gustavo (Gus), the main bartender/server at their restaurant. After one night he remember my colleagues and my names, what we liked and always accommodates. If he is working when I arrive he is sure to wave and welcome me back as I enter the property. The rooms are very well kept and the food is great. I have also used their board rooms/conference rooms on a few occasions and the catering staff and sales team go above and beyond to ensure everything is how I planned. I highly recommend this property and look forward to all of my future stays.

My wife and I stayed here for the first time. This Embassy is one of the cleanest Embassy The parking lot has cameras all over to keep a eye on you vehicle. I like that because if something was to happen we could see how it happened and I feel that will help prevent things form happening. The staff was very friendly and professional. We stayed in a room looking over the freeway the view was amazing at night you can see way across the city. The Bed was very clean and comfortable we slept so well. The Internet is super fast really enjoyed that had some work to do while I was there. The pool area is very nice and clean as well. The breakfast eggs cooked to order and everything was so fresh breakfast staff was very friendly with good morning they had a wonderful energy to get my morning started. We where ask by staff how was or staying going later found out that person was management of the Embassy . To me it say a lot when you have management asking guests how is your stay ( shows they care)I have had this happen to me before at other Embassy. I believe I have covered everything . This hotel was very clean and convenient to west Houston / energy corridor. They had plenty of staff working and bussing tables / wiping down immediately during busy breakfast hours, which was a plus. We would definitely stay here again. This hotel is one of the best in the area. The rooms are very spacious, tidy and clean. They have a restaurant in the premises with really good food. They have “made to order omelets” included in the breakfast bar, and they offer a complimentary Happy Hour from 5:30 to 7:00 pm if I am not mistaken includes draft beer, wine, tequila, and others licors, they also provide some snacks like veggies and chips. The boys said their sofa bed was really uncomfortable but our bed was great. Breakfast was extremely impressive, they had a full range of hot foods like French toast, Grits, & meats. Great hotel! They have stepped up security since our last stay (security was a major factor of concern from our last stay here). This stay I felt safe. We usually have a very good time at this hotel, but it seems a lot has changed recently. The hotel room wasn't very clean. We had no maid service the entire stay and had to ask for new towels. The toilet paper holder was broken in the room, the lamp had tape holing it together, and the shower head was loose. Seems some maintenance needs to take place? The cops were at the hotel and pool for some reason on our last day. The pool was extremely cold. The man at the check in desk kept checking my ID and credit card multiple times, even though they match and kept asking me questions about my stay, although I've stayed here many times before. The breakfast seemed really lacking compared to previous stays, but the omelets were awesome as always! Your Omelet chef is really amazing. When I sent my son to get pillows, even though we were given them, the concierge made a remark that he put our name on a list so we couldn't ask for more. I will always continue to use Hilton and Embassy Suites, but sad to say this will be my last booking at this location. Please make some improvements, we love the Katy area for vacation. :(

Check-in was fast and efficient, and the staff didn't seem to get flustered or frustrated, and were VERY nice during the process. Cleanliness was top-notch, as expected, and the breakfast downstairs was off the chain. Plenty of hot, fresh items, as well as cereals and fruit. The worst Embassy I’ve stayed at. Room service doesn’t pickup the phone. I had to ask multiple times for clean towels before anyone bothered to take action. Complaints to corporate and directed to the local manager who is never available. Dirty elevators and dirty hallways. Trash is left in the hallways for hours at a time. Digital keycard was never activated even though I was told multiple times it would be sent in a few minutes. Once after being told they couldn’t login to the system to activate them. I overheard the front desk discussing an incident where another guests pillow smelled like urine. I supposedly paid extra for a high floor room promising a quiet stay but on the first night we could hear the couple next door arguing loudly and threatening each other. Complaints to the front desk were ignored. Sat at the hotel bar for 2 hours without being acknowledged. There are stains in the carpets all over the place. The faucets don’t drain properly. Update: Hotel management reached out the day after I checked out and immediately offered to compensate me without actually caring about the issues I encountered. They then promised points in exchange for removing my review. The review remains because they credited 10% of the points they offered and I asked for them to be taken back.

Good room , very clean and nice staff. The pool smelled strong but otherwise nice stay. The reason the rating was so low is because of the guest staying there. While i was swimming there were guest who were extremely rude, pointing and saying rude and inappropriate things. A group of guests used my towel and moved my things, despite being told not to. Many of the guests treated me as a threat and going as far as to continue to stare and giggle . While the room and service was good, the guest here were horrible and lacked respect.

Friendly staff. Beautiful hotel. Found someones eyelashes in the pullout sofa so I question how thoroughly the rooms are cleaned. Another room was not available to accommodate us so we ran and bought some new sheets. Other than that the stay was great.

Location right off the highway but all rooms are on the backside which have a great open field view overlooking the parking lot also. Smaller hotel than other Embassy suites that I have stayed at before. Indoor pool is nice. The fitness center has updated equipment and is roomy and comfortable. Breakfast had normal grits, oatmeal, eggs, sausage, bacon, pastries, breads, cereals, fruit, etc... also made to order omelets. My only complaint is that I noticed that some meats were reused the next morning and they steam their eggs, which I hate. The rooms were nice. The vents needed to be dusted they had obvious dust build up. The kitchen had a sink, microwave, and fridge. Some dish liquid, paper towels, and disposable utensils would have been a great addition. Very quite and peaceful. Did not hear anything from inside room. Very expensive small store by front desk. I paid $12 for 3 drinks. Soda machine on every other floor but was not accepting debit cards. Snack machine would have been great also. Alot of good restaurants in the area to visit or to order for delivery. Great parking. Overall great stay.

Family of 5 enjoyed 2 nights here! Breakfast included was delightful, delicious fresh made omelette and kids loved the buffet. Ate dinner in the restaurant on the second night and it was also delicious. Enjoy the extra space with 5, room is very comfortable and had everything we needed. On site parking, quiet location (room on the back side), and helpful staff.

The rooms are clean. The bed is very comfortable and the sheets are of high quality. The breakfast is fantastic, special made omelets, full breakfast bar, plenty of coffee. Happy hour and snacks are a delight. You can drink and go to your room without driving. Check it out.

Beautiful and clean hotel. Nice spacious suites. Breakfast is always a hit with the made to order omelets. The staff were friendly. The bartender was excellent and the cocktail hour is a plus. The bed was comfy but the pillows could have been fluffier. Our room was cold the heat did not work even after we cut it off cold air still blew. Maintenance came and told us in order for the heat to work the fan had to be on low. We felt like we were starting to get sick and wanted to stay in the car for heat. Did not get to visit the pool area during our 4 day stay. Free parking and hotel is right off highway.

The hotel is no where worth its 3 stars, housekeeping and front desk lack professionalism and attention to detail. The room had more long hairs on the floor than a stylist. The decor and furnishings are as best a Manger without the little drummer boy. Extremely disappointing and not worth the price... not at all.

I have spent 40 nights here this year (work travel), and this is my favorite hotel in Houston. Everything is clean and all the systems work correctly. The staff is very friendly and professional. Housekeeping visits rooms 7 days/week, which is not common nowadays. The included breakfast and happy hour are solid.

Amazing rooms and beds, and also amazing amenities. Heated pool, happy hour free drinks 530.pm to 730pm. Amazing customer service. I can't wait to come back. Thank you so much.

Embassy Suites by Hilton - Energy Corridor hosted our Company Christmas party and it was a huge success! The catering manager, Stella Haral is a phenomenal person to work with. She was very personable and so accommodating. We did not have to stress about anything. The food, desserts and drinks were all delicious. Everything ran smoothly and well orchestrated. All my co-workers, manager and owner, kept thanking me for the wonderful party. They all said what a wonderful party I pulled off. I feel kinda guilty because it was all Stella's and the rest of the team's work. Some co-workers and I had rooms booked at the hotel. We all agree the rooms were lovely and extremely clean. The beds are so comfortable and I slept like a baby. The black out curtains were great. Everyone from the front desk, cleaning crew, bartenders, kitchen staff, cleaning crew, maintenance and managers are all very friendly and professional. We will definitely be having next year's Christmas event here. Thank you Stella and the rest of the team.

Drove 5hrs in the morning from out of town for a wedding in Houston. The front desk worker wouldn’t let me check-in to our hotel room because the reservation was under my boyfriend’s name. My boyfriend was getting ready with the wedding party and taking wedding pictures. The worker said there was nothing she could do without him there and was rude and unhelpful. My boyfriend called to add me to the reservation, and was hung up on. We ended up cancelling our reservation and went to the hotel next door where the staff was way more friendly. It’s not hard to be nice. Lost time to get ready for the wedding because of this.

I stayed at this hotel with my family (including small kids). We loved the space in the room, the complimentary breakfast and the evening reception. The kids loved the indoor pool. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast food was good and included an omelet bar. The indoor pool was heated and warm on a very cold day. It was, overall, a great stay. We would definitely stay again.

Nice hotel in for me convenient location. If you want to have more activities going on close by outside the hotel, such as shopping or a large choice of restaurants, you might need to double check if you are in the right place. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean. I'll definitely stay here again during my next business trip.

Omg, I love the staff here, the location to everything and the rooms. This was probably one of the best stays I have ever had in a long time. The suite was great, the breakfast buffet was great, the lunch was great. I literally can't find anything to complain about. The head Chef and the Chef were awesome. The wait staff was awesome. The bartenders were awesome. The front desk staff always had smiles on their faces and were ready and willing to help. The facilities were always clean from the weightroom to the pool area. If there was an issue or request, it was resolved so quickly that it made me happy.

I traveled to Houston on business last week and stayed at this property. As I had not stayed at an Embassy Suites since my childhood, I wasn't sure what to expect. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised at how nice and modern the hotel was. It was beautiful inside and out and it was apparent the staff took pride in the property and that it was clean and well maintained. The restaurant and bar staff were very attentive to the guests and promptly took my order, asked if there was anything additional I needed, and cleared my dishes following the meal. Everywhere I went, I was greeted with a smile and it was apparent the staff truly enjoy their jobs and that customer service is a priority. I will definitely consider this hotel for future trips to this area!

**Staff makes it as difficult as possible to get food** Their website and app say they offer room service and there is clearly a restaurant downstairs, but no one will tell you where to find a menu or how to order the room service. No instructions on the website or app. No paper menus in the room. No QR codes. No one available at the front desk. I ended up finally ordering Uber Eats *but* when my delivery arrived, the front desk wouldnt let the delivery driver bring me the food. They also refused to have hotel staff deliver to me themselves. I tried to explain to the front desk that I wasnt feeling well already and wasnt dressed to go down to the lobby, but was told there was nothing else they could do *if* I wanted my food. So I had to get dressed and go down 10+ flights to get it. I felt bad for the Uber Eats driver too. He had to wait for me to get down there before he could go.

I enjoyed my stay. It was very comfortable. Amenities and decor (ambience) is very nice. Loved the breakfast buffet and happy hour. I know everybody is short-staffed, but it’s probably time to do the annual dusting and Tilex/Clorox bleaching. I didn’t swim, but the pool was a nice large warm (indoor) jacuzzi with an exterior outside patio to sunbathe. I loved the lobby - it was a nice place to sit and work or chill. They have a in-house restaurant too. I would definitely stay here. Unfortunately, I didn’t get the bathtub room. Most rooms are the stand-alone shower, but I liked the fully closed glass shower enclosure. I absolutely loved my view of the park behind (nobody is out there besides occasional joggers and walkers).

I have stayed at Embassy Suites in 2021 and returned in December 2023. I can say the level of cleanness has downgraded. You can find stains in the floor specially at the elevator and no one will clean them until the next morning. When we checked-in we found stains in our pillow cover we asked to replace it. The bed sheets are looks worn out specially they are not ironed. For the amount I paid I should have gotten better facilities. Other than that the staff are friendly and the breakfast is good. Good location.

The room's cleanliness was not good at all, there was hair in the shower that did not belong to me or my daughter, I asked for the room to be clean and they only straighten our beds up. Because the hair was still there when we came back to the room that night and on the last night that we were there, we saw two baby roaches crawling on our night stand. I was so glad we were leaving the next day. Breakfast is nice. The restaurant had good food as well and I like that there was an inside pool for the kids to enjoy in the winter. But the pool is very small though.

Sometimes you need a different view to get your thoughts together, To reset. The last weekend in 2023 I did just that and it helped me so much! I believe I did some amazing work for my business for the new year and relaxed so much! This is my favorite hotel! I love how they texted me several times to make sure everything was okay! Hotel is a 5 star ⭐ if you ask me. It's so nice, clean and I loved the secluded feel that I felt. Nothing makes great connections like a fantastic bartender. We have all walks of life who sit at the bar but when you have a professional who really enjoys what they do with creating drinks, smiles, and laughter. In this picture we have a man from Scotland, North Carolina, Fort Lauderdale, Iowa, and the man they named Gus. Names were exchanged, friendships made, and nothing brought us all together like a fresh drink. I thank Gus for his exceptional service and I am sure everyone who gets the chance to sit at the bar will say the same thing.

This location never disappoints. It is always impeccably clean from the library to the room. Breakfast is an added plus they even offer containers with lids in case you want to bring your breakfast back to the room and keep it hot. Very thoughtful. The cook was very friendly and accommodating at the omelette station even though there were tons of people, the weekend before Christmas.

I had stopped at this location near Houston, I got a room and 2-in suite on a good floor, I liked the way our room is. I-10 looked beautiful at night and in the morning for when I arrived at this hotel, it had a little gift shop for drinks and snacks, during the happy hour, i had gone down to get myself a drink from the bar as they offered it for free. Plenty of parking and the front desk helped me if I needed anything, lots of food areas nearby the hotel and a good city look of Houston from the room, I would stay here again, as it was awesome and beautiful.

After our main baggage got separated from us on our flight from Washington Dulles to Houston and arrived 5 hours later on another aircraft, we decided to just stay a night in Houston before driving on to San Antonio since it was so late. It was the right choice, and actually the nicest hotel we had stayed at in the 10 days we'd been away. Pretty ironic. This is a very nice property. We loved the layout, color scheme (Yay! not all boring gray modernist look), and spaciousness of our room, and it was very clean and comfortable. The lobby is impressive in size and look as you come in, with a large breakfast area to the left that can accommodate a lot of people. The front desk staff was very friendly and our check-in was super-efficient. Speaking of breakfast, the entire team working the cooking and bussing tables did just an outstanding job across the board. They were all friendly and efficient, and the breakfast itself we definitely the best we'd had in a hotel in a long time. The choice to have a made-to-order omelet is great, and watching the cook's skills as he had 6 going at one time and never once got an order wrong (I really don't know how he did that...) was impressive. Had been a good while since we'd been to an Embassy Suites, but we will definitely seek one out again whenever one is available at our destination. Highly recommended.

Don’t do it!!! BED BUGS BED BUGS!!!! We ended our vacation early because of this place. The lobby and hallways will fool you. The first room 1206 was nasty. We made it in late and took a shower. The tub was nasty so we cleaned it out and showered. The beds didn’t seem dirty until we woke up that morning and noticed makeup on the bed. Dirty stains on the bed. Tooth paste on the walls. Mold in the vents. Stains on the carpet and walls. Dust on the mantle. I requested towels nobody ever showed. So I went down to complain. Mexican girl looking crazy. Ashli from New Orleans helped me. She walked me to a new room. It was as bad but not great. Under the table was food from the guest before. I noticed later that day. The sofa was nasty and walls. Toothpaste on the wall as well. My family woke up to bed bug bites. Also Saturday morning we woke up to finger prints in our windows. Mind you they have security that rides the parking lot. I’m sure he is in on it. Never again. Waste of moneys if you book just know you will be itchy and uncomfortable.

The room was comfortable but not clean. The first room we were in had fingerprints in multiple places. Stains on the walls, furniture and the floor. There were hairs in the bathroom and shower. We were moved to another room that was cleaner but still had stains on things.. The front desk staff were very nice and accommodating. It was more expensive for one night here than at another Hilton we stayed at in town that was less expensive and a lot nicer and more spacious.

My husband stayed here at this embassy while we were renovating our house and had nothing but great things to say about the bartender Gustavo who goes beyond pouring drinks and becomes the heartbeat of the bar. Gustavo is exactly that—an artist, a therapist, a magician, and a friend all wrapped into one. From the moment you walk in, his smile and energy light up the room, making you feel like the most important person there. Gustavo remembers your favorite drink, your name, and even the little stories you’ve shared between sips. What sets Gustavo apart is his genuine passion—not just for mixology, though their cocktails are top-tier—but for people. He knows how to read the room, when to crack a joke, when to lend an ear, and when to just let you enjoy your drink in peace. Their ability to make everyone feel welcome creates a vibe that keeps regulars coming back and newcomers instantly at ease. Whether he is shaking up a classic Old Fashioned or inventing something totally new on the spot, every drink feels like a little masterpiece. But it’s not just about what’s in the glass—it’s about who’s behind it. Gustavo doesn’t just serve drinks—he serves joy, comfort, and connection. And that makes him truly unforgettable.

I called earlier today to ask about the breakfast buffet and bistro hours. The behavior I encountered on the phone was extremely unprofessional and disappointing. I called 3 times. The first time I was placed on hold and then I got hung up on. No problem so I tried again. Second time, I got the buffet hours from the agent but got hung up on again without being given the answer to dinner hours. The third time I called, I finally got a flustered answer out of her (I did not catch her name). And I started saying thank you and got hung up on again. This is disheartening because I used to book business trips here last year and had no issues but forgot meal time hours. This time I was calling for another business trip for 15 regional managers but I will not be recommending this place to my team. The last thing I need is for my team to have to deal with inconvenience and lack of communication especially given the fact that they are all on a tight schedule. Please make sure whoever is on the receiving end of your calls is willing to be helpful otherwise they should not be in a customer facing role. I've attached my call logs showing all 3 calls.

Sadly, this was absolutely awful stay. To start the 1st room smelled like something died, it was a strong nasty smell. Turns out the last guest left food in the fridge and housekeeping didn’t properly clean. I was moved 2 times thereafter due to consistent issues of cleanliness. The manager Megan G was out of office most of my stay but I spoke with her the last day and she was not helpful. She brushed it off with no consideration. Overall, the staff carried no care or respect for people’s time. Lastly, Megan G said she’d give me point to my Hilton rewards but never did. I would not recommend it here. Staff rude, rooms dirty, food mediocre. There’s another hotel suites literally up the road, go elsewhere!!

I love embassy suites and this location was very nice and clean and modern. The down sides to our stay. 1) the rooms were smaller than we have had at other embassy suites. Significantly smaller. 2) at hotels they usually have hand soap and make up remover wipes and things like that, there was none. No hand soap at all. 3) the breakfast during the week ends at 9:00 so if you are out of town or getting away then you can't sleep in much. 4) their hot water took a really long time to heat up, like 15 minutes. The good things: 1) staff was very nice. 2) they have the managers hour which was so lovely with drinks and some snacks 3) their breakfast is on point!! Absolutely love it!! 4) everything is new and nice and clean and feels good.

Room: the room was nothing special. Sofas had stains and the bed was a bit too soft for my back. It was very clean in comparison to other hotels I’ve stayed at but still had room for improvement. I did like how well insulated the room was. There was no noise coming from the freeway or from my neighbors, except for the occasional barking dog. Staff: the staff was very professional and helpful. They were polite and friendly. Breakfast: The chefs were awesome, they had a large variety of options for the custom order omelets. They also had a really good breakfast buffet selection. Bar: Even though happy hour is supposed to have free drinks every day I chose not to drink until my last day there to celebrate me achieving a goal. I went to the bar and decided to get a few drinks and the bartender told me he could only serve me 1 drink every 45mins. 1-8oz drink every 45 mins for 2 hours would only get me 3 drinks max. The bartender gave me more since there was 2 of us at the staying at the room but it’s still bs. Location: I loved the location, it was only 5-10 mins away from major shopping centers and great restaurants.

Came here on our honeymoon. The front desk staff was rude and I had to initiate the check in process after they look at us for 10 seconds. Our room had no water. Only 2 towels. It took 45 minutes for them to bring extra to the room. When we went out for the day and returned we found that our room wasn’t cleaned at all. No toiletries or towels were refilled. Had to call for water that took 40 minutes to come. They only brought 2 water bottles. Went to check out and the front desk employee was more rude than the first group of them. I asked for something so I can leave a review and she proceeds to hand my room service cards. Then when I said that’s not what I was asking for she looked at me with such disdain I could feel it in the air. I will not be coming back anytime soon and will be telling my social circle about this experiences.

We stayed here a few months back what we thought would be a couple days before we moved to our permanent house in Houston. A few days in we woke up one morning to our truck STOLEN!!!! We thought the hotel would be safe since there is a security vehicle out front and cameras everywhere however this was not the case. We were not allowed to watch the video footage for some reason. Additionally the best they could do was comp one night for the loss of our 60,000 truck.

Initially I was not used to the lack of amenities in the room as I'm not sure if that's the standard there since I came for a business trip. I had to request for toothpaste, toothbrush and disposable shower cap as it will only be provided upon request. Paper cups are provided and there are no utensils provided despite there's a microwave and portable mini size coffee machine. They only do light housekeeping and full housekeeping only done on the 5th day which is also something new for me. However, they do provide free shuttle within 5-mile radius and also based on their driver's availability. It's also a pet friendly hotel. Sundries also available at the lobby area for purchase. Additionally, there's a laundry room for washer and dryer (ensure to have sufficient coins, else can ask for a change over the reception counter) which you could easily used based on availability. The hotel is walkable around 15 minutes to the George Bush Hike & Bike Trail. Just to note, the hotel is slightly far from downtown and city area.

Title: Extremely Disappointing Stay – Not Worth the Hilton Name I booked a King Studio Suite expecting the comfort and quality associated with the Hilton brand. Unfortunately, my experience at Embassy Suites in Katy, TX fell far below expectations. The suite was extremely small and cramped. The refrigerator was not cold, which caused two bottles of champagne I had brought to go warm. I also experienced an allergic reaction to the feather pillows and down comforter, something that should be disclosed clearly in the room details. Housekeeping was another major issue. I had to beg for the room to be cleaned, and despite calling the front desk, they told me cleaning services were done for the day—yet no one ever came to clean the room at all during my stay. Things got even worse when I was in the shower and saw two cockroaches—one large and one baby—crawl over my clothes. I tried to grab my phone, dripping wet, but missed the chance to take a photo. They scurried under the sink. I reported it immediately, and when I informed the front desk, Meghan questioned me for proof instead of addressing the concern with professionalism or empathy. Her attitude was dismissive and made me feel unheard. Lastly, I called in advance to notify the front desk that we would need an extended checkout. Despite this courtesy, I was charged an extra $50 just to check out at 1 PM—a fee that felt excessive and unappreciative, especially given the series of issues we experienced during our stay. This entire visit was incredibly disappointing. Between poor cleanliness, pest issues, dismissive service, and unexpected fees, I do not recommend this location and will not be returning. Booked here 2 times a year always stay on the 15 floor with my toddlers 2nd time booking this year and I notice that the room wasn’t clean just like the last time hair on the bed and pillows sofa pillows disgusting and busted hair in the toilet crumbs on the floors also the table seem like it was never wipe down also the shower head was filthy! I’m glad I’m a person to bring Clorox wipes and spray even the doors and walls was dirty

Nice location close to my company office. Hotel is newer, but rooms and hallways are not very well maintained (e.g., not vacuumed or overly clean). Breakfast was okay given the cook to order eggs and omelet, but no real fresh fruit or good coffee makes for a lackluster meal.

Strike 2 against By Hilton Hotel I’ve stayed at hope the General Manager reads these posts. Or considers an undercover boss, and also critically considers health inspectors and throughly cleans ducting, either clean and steam carpets or replace the carpets, fixtures replacements, in the rooms. That said… First impression nice place clean decorated and even pet friendly as they had a water bowl and dog biscuits placed by the door. Just behind that had a snack and last minute things (medicine, microwave meals, drinks, ice cream.) Indoor pool in first floor with towels, chairs to relax on and I believe had a handicapped crane to aid getting in the pool. Bar, dining on first floor, nice tall water fall decor. Complimentary tea and lemon water. Now off to the room… I’ve been to a few hotels and learned a lil what to look for to make the stay comfortable and also what may or may not affect length of stay or swap rooms. Got to the room first impression was good was excited for a brief moment, unloaded the bags and relaxed from the long drive. Noticed the vent doesn’t clear out shower steam, shower head is rusted, and wall splatter of who knows what!! Cleaning staff I know your job is miserable but if ya hate it that bad why chose that profession?!? I talked to the front desk mentioned my discrepancies and it was handled professionally by Megan Garcia later after breakfast and going site seeing we came back to the room noticed the shower head was replaced, the vent was “cleaned” not not really. Maybe I’m overthinking it but a shop vac and a thin screwdriver clean that right up and removing the vent plate of course…. The carpet looked very old and stained didn’t trust walking barefoot around. Breakfast was amazing made to order omelette delicious! Choice of items excellent! Staff awesome! My daughter likes to watch tv that was another downside tv was blue never seen that before but the tv stayed off and used our phones to watch movies… replace that tv Costco has good deals all the time for the cost of the rooms should be easy enough. Pillows need replaced. Next time I’m there I’ll be looking elsewhere to stay and not from a by Hilton not sure if the name supposed to mean something but if I hear the name Hilton attached to something I think prestigious and classy tons better then like a super 8 or motel 6 by huge margin. And Embassy suites should be big name brand in itself. Overall I’d say retain the staff for cleaning or get contract cleaners that do weekly deep cleaning. Get duct cleaners for the building maybe every other month.

Embassy Suites buffet luncheon was recommended to us. We arrived there towards the end of the lunchtime. The food looked a little sad. There were only salad plates and bowls to place the food on. It had pasta and breakfast plates by request, but there wasn't any staff in that area, so we put the buffet food on our plates. My associate couldn't stomach the buffet food and found a staff member who found the pasta cook. The meal was hot and very well presented. My associate was very pleased with the pasta dish.

Check in was at 3pm. Our room was not ready until almost 4:30pm. The front desk was not even apologetic. Happy hour was a joke. At 5:30pm there was nothing left but a few popcorn kernels. The bathroom floor had not been cleaned very well. The room was very quiet. Breakfast bar was great.

The staff were friendly, but cleanliness was a major issue. When I first checked into my room, the bed sheet was dirty. My room was on the 13th floor, where the hallway had a strong odor. On the first afternoon, it smelled like pet urine, and the next morning the smell worsened because trash was left scattered on the floor in the ice room. Unfortunately, it wasn’t cleaned up until much later that day. The hotel looks nice overall. I just wish they could do a better job on the maintenance works.

We’ve been staying at this hotel over the course of the last year and generally enjoy it. I do wish they would spend a little money on room upgrades as well as getting all 3 elevators working, especially since this hotel stays busy with guests and events - they make plenty of money. The hotel is generally clean. Staff is nice. And the front desk works to make sure you have what you need and that they address any issues. The hotel is also dog friendly, and we have no issues with our 65lb dog staying with us. Their location off of I-10 is super easy to get in and out of. The complementary full breakfast and happy hour are always great! And even their lunch is really good AND reasonably priced. This is our home away from home when we come to Houston!

Great place to stay. The rooms were modern and clean. The restaurant had delicious food. I recommend the wedge salad, burger, chicken sandwich, & fries. Although our ETA never gets us to an Embassy Suites before the end of the managers reception, Irma was fantastic behind the bar. Order an Old Fashioned with bullet rye, you won't be disappointed. Great breakfast, omelet chef does a great job. Loved the suggested omelet.

I recently stayed at the Embassy Suites in Houston’s Energy Corridor and had a mixed experience. Let’s start with the highlight: Yolanda at the front desk. She was absolutely fantastic — warm, bubbly, and genuinely made check-in feel welcoming. Her energy really set a positive tone right off the bat. The room itself was super clean and well-kept, which I appreciated. The mobile key worked smoothly, elevators were fast, and the gym was modern and well-equipped. Parking was easy once you figured out how to get there — though the front of the hotel is currently under construction, which made arrival and navigating the parking lot a little confusing. Unfortunately, breakfast was a letdown. By 8 AM, most of the food was already cold or gone, and the lobby coffee wasn’t great either. I was also disappointed with the evening “happy hour”, which felt more like an afterthought — just hard pita chips, some popcorn, and a very limited drink selection. Another small miss was the lack of welcome amenities — no snacks or extras, just water bottles at check-in. Also, while the room was spotless, the bathroom felt outdated and could use some refreshing. Overall, it’s a decent stay if you value cleanliness and convenience, but some of the perks Embassy Suites is known for fell short on this visit. A few upgrades and a little more attention to the complimentary offerings would go a long way. Would I stay again? Maybe — but I’d manage expectations.

I’m going to start my review like many others - I travel frequently for my job…. I am always reading reviews before I go to a new area to try and find the best place to stay. I was having a hard time committing to a location near Katy, but found this Embassy Suites, and couldn’t be happier. I have 4 more visits planned to the area in the next 3 months and I’ll make sure I’m here every time. The front desk team was great, friendly, accommodating, and always smiling. Gustavo was the best bartender for the evening reception and after. The rooms were clean. Overall, just really a great place to stay if you’re in the area.

Without a doubt, I will frequent this hotel. I received a daily text message asking about my stay, the member's happy hours had nice snack choices, the employees were very customer service oriented, and oh yeah, the cooked-to-order omelets were delicious accompanied by fresh and delicious sides. I recommend this hotel instead of staying in downtown Houston where the hotel cost is ridiculous but most of all mediocre customer service.

Very nice hotel!! My wife and I were very impressed and the prices are very reasonable. They offer free buffet style breakfast which is on point ( not just a bagel and coffee) but they fix omelets to your style and taste as well. They also serve lunch ,dinner and a bar which isn't free. Room was very comfortable and they welcomed us with our name on the flat screen TV. Everyday our sheets and towels were changed out. We are pleased

My family enjoyed our stay. The service was better after an issue was resolved that the hotel was overbooked and double booked rooms. The front desk resolved this in a quick, professional manner. We’ve stayed here a few times. Never had a problem until this time. Location is close to our family. Rooms are clean. Breakfast is good. We left our room at 9:30a and returned 11 hours later to a room that was never cleaned. Called for clean towels twice, before they arrived 45 minutes later. Had a front-of-the-hotel facing room, which made it impossible to sleep with highway traffic, so very little sleep for two nights.

The staff was amazing and very attentive. We reported that our coffee machine was broken, and they sent a new one up almost immediately. The only reason we can't give a 5 on the room is due to areas of significant wear on the carpet (2 areas were almost bare). The hotel common areas were very clean and well taken care of. At breakfast we noticed that everything in the chafing dishes we cold or room temperature which we reported. The staff seemed to be aware there was an issue and apologized. We will definitely stay again if we're in the area! Van at the front desk was very helpful and attentive!

When I first arrived, I asked for a room away from the elevator, but was given a room near it. I stayed in room 510 BEWARE; the room was somewhat small, but that's how most Embassy Suites average king rooms are. The TV was leaning sideways and had a blue cast, making it hard to watch. There were no settings to change on the TV to see if that was the issue. When I informed the front desk, they claimed they would put in a maintenance request. However, the TV was never fixed. We also requested our room to be cleaned. I was told housekeeping stopped at 2 p.m., but when we arrived back at the hotel around 5:40 p.m., housekeeping was still in the hall cleaning. We noticed someone had partially cleaned the room. They pulled up the covers, picked up the dirty towels, and replaced some of the old ones. She/he did not clean the shower or leave washcloths. Happy hour, thanks to the amazing bartender Irma, was great. She was very informative when explaining happy hour and the menu items. Every drink she made was perfect, and her customer service was unmatched.

I had a cozy stay at the Embassy Suites. The room was clean, the bed was super comfortable, and the view was pleasant. Room service was quick and friendly, which made things really convenient. The food was okay — not bad, but nothing special. There was a bit of noise from the highway and our neighbors, and the vending machine near our room wasn’t working, which was a little inconvenient. Overall, it was a comfortable and relaxing stay with just a few small hiccups. I’d consider staying here again!

The hotel badly needs refurbishment. There is a very strong and unpleasant smell as soon as you enter the building, and the rooms are clearly overdue for upgrading. The sofa bed looked like it is rarely, if ever, used. Despite requesting it to be made up with sheets, when we opened it, it was covered in dust and had no bedding at all. We had to request sheets separately and make the bed ourselves. The mattress for the sofa was extremely thin and uncomfortable. The bathroom doors do not lock, and several pieces of furniture in the room were visibly damaged. The room itself also had a persistent musty smell. There were parties happening every night near the lobby area, which made it extremely loud and more like a nightclub than a hotel. This was very unusual and not what we would expect during a hotel stay. Overall, I expected a much higher standard from a Hilton hotel and was disappointed with the stay.

The people who greeted us when we were going to breakfast were also nice but the only reason it’s being rated a 2 is because we were packing and checkout is at eleven AT 10:30 am room service had knocked twice on our door THEN UNLOCKED THE DOOR AND OPENED THE DOOR BEFORE CHECKOUT TIME They need to check if people have left yet before they start unlocking doors it may have been a accident on their part but I feel that this is an invasion of privacy and my child came to me quite frightened .

We stayed at this hotel while visiting Houston. The hotel is off a main highway. Very noisy if you are staying on side facing the highway. Rooms were big and clean . Beds are very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. The omelet station was out favorite and the cook was very friendly. The front desk staff our 1st night checking in was very nice. The 2nd night the front desk gentleman was somewhat annoyed when I asked for additional towels. Overall the stay was good.

Extremely Frightening and Unacceptable Safety Failure I am still shaken by what happened during my stay. After checking in and being given my room key, I went up to my assigned room expecting it to be empty and ready, as any guest would. When I walked into the bedroom, I was horrified to find a man already asleep in the bed — with a very large firearm lying next to him. This was an extremely frightening and dangerous situation. I had no way of knowing who this person was, why he was there, or how he would react to a stranger entering the room. For a hotel to place a guest in a room that is already occupied, especially under these circumstances, is a massive failure in safety and security. I immediately left the room and alerted the front desk. While staff were notified, the fact that this could happen at all is deeply concerning. Guests should never have to fear for their lives simply by entering the room they were checked into. This experience has completely destroyed my trust in this hotel’s safety procedures. Proper room verification and security protocols are not optional — they are essential. I would strongly caution others to think twice before staying here until serious improvements are made.

A total waste of time. My partner called to make sure we were allowed to book as 19 yr olds then I called from another device just to make sure. The man on night shift told us yes for both times we called and said minimum age is 18, but just for it to happen that when we are checking in they tell us that we are not allowed to because we are under 21. It is unfair to be told something that isn’t true and have my time wasted. Drove more than 6 hours for that. Would’ve loved to have left a better review since it’s a beautiful hotel, but sadly staff isn’t up to date on policies. The lady at the desk refunded our money and gave us info on another hotel, but she shut us down immediately and made it seem as if it was our fault when it wasn’t. We literally called before reserving the room.

My dad's truck, a GMC Sierra was stolen from this location. My parents visited Houston for my nieces graduation, arrived Thursday night and woke up Friday morning 5/28/26 to no truck. His truck was parked under camera, Hotel is saying they cant see anything, this is very strange to me. Theyre saying something like this has never happened but I definitely believe this was an inside job. This is beyond sad. How can a large Hotel not have camera footage of a car being stolen. We've all used this Hotel in the past and I can say with certainty, we will NEVER in life visit this location again. Hilton properties are truly becoming a horrible Hotel to spend money with. So if my parents were outside and something would have happened, it wouldn't have been caught on camera? People still use Hotels instead of Airbnb for Safety but this proves safety isn't at the forefront when booking here.

I travel frequently, and it’s rare for me to leave a negative review—but this experience was deeply disappointing. After a 15-hour drive, we arrived in Texas around 2:00 AM, exhausted and simply looking forward to resting at Embassy Suites. Unfortunately, the experience at the front desk set an immediate negative tone. The agent on duty, Kionna, did not greet us upon arrival. Instead, she remained seated, on her phone, with snacks visible, and made no acknowledgment until I approached the desk myself. When I inquired about a room, her delivery was abrupt and unwelcoming. She informed us the hotel was fully booked and that we would have to check out at 11:00 AM, assuming we only needed one night. When we clarified that we were requesting two nights, she responded dismissively that nothing was available. While I completely understand that availability can be limited, the issue was not the lack of rooms—it was the lack of professionalism, courtesy, and basic hospitality. For a hotel positioned as a 4-star property, front desk staff should reflect a higher standard of service. Travelers often arrive tired and in need of a warm, respectful experience. That was not provided. Thankfully, we chose to continue on and drove an additional 40 minutes to Hyatt Centric The Woodlands, where the difference was immediate and remarkable. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism. The front desk team even stepped out to assist with opening doors as we brought in our luggage. Although the room rate was higher, it was absolutely worth it for the level of service, comfort, and overall experience. The accommodations were beautiful, the atmosphere welcoming, and the location ideal—within walking distance of shopping and dining, including brands like Gucci, Chanel, and Tory Burch. What began as a frustrating and exhausting experience turned into exactly what we needed—a place to truly rest and feel valued as guests. If you’re looking for exceptional service and a welcoming environment, I highly recommend Hyatt Centric The Woodlands.

I stayed at this hotel in October 2025, I will start with the positive the front desk staff were very welcoming and attentive and the buffet style breakfast was very good. My main issue is the cleanliness of the rooms were quite disgusting up on arriving in my hotel room I flicked the light switch on and seen piles of dust just sitting on top of the light fixture, the Kleenex box had dirty tissues in it I’m assuming from the previous guest , the shower head was crusted and moldy looking, the bath faucet had a brown wall stain, and the headboard had a dent in the top of it. These things do not cost a lot of money to fix so hopefully this hotel can tiddy up their housekeepers and maintenance men and get these rooms into better shape.

However, Raj and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to help. They were incredibly responsive, reassuring, and took immediate action. To my surprise and relief, my phone was safely retrieved by the very next morning! On top of that, the bartenders during happy hour, such as Norma, were amazing, friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. It really added a fun and welcoming touch each evening. I’m so grateful to the team for turning a stressful situation into such a positive experience. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Houston!

My check-in experience was great. Van helped me check-in. There was a problem with my room. I reserved a walk-in shower room for my mother. There was no room showing in the computer but Van kept working to make sure we had the room I reserved. Thanks again Van.

Clean. No odd smells. The free drinks and chips and salad was interesting. The service desk was busy. Pool out of order due to maintenance on July 5th which made it sad for my visiting friend

The experience at this property has been extremely frustrating and far below the standards I normally associate with Hilton properties and the Hilton Honors brand. The power at the hotel has reportedly been out since approximately 2:00 PM this afternoon. Since the outage began, there has been little to no meaningful communication provided to guests regarding the situation, estimated restoration time, accommodations, or contingency plans. Guests have largely been left in the dark, both literally and figuratively. When I approached the front desk to inquire about transferring to another Hilton property at a comparable rate due to the circumstances, Ms. Ann at the front desk informed me that the only thing she could do was issue a refund and “send me where I think I need to go.” I found this response dismissive, unprofessional, and inconsistent with the level of customer service I would expect from Hilton staff during a significant disruption affecting guests. Additionally: • The advertised evening happy hour was effectively nonexistent. • The pool was closed due to vomit contamination. • No alternative amenities, refreshments, snacks, food, or bottled water were offered to guests during the outage. • Staff repeatedly stated that the power outage “had nothing to do with them,” rather than demonstrating concern, empathy, or proactive guest support. • There appeared to be no organized effort to update or assist guests throughout the situation. I fully understand that power outages themselves may be outside the hotel’s direct control. However, the way guests are treated during unexpected events is absolutely within management’s control, and in this case, the response has been extremely poor. Oh let’s not forget the brown rusty water right before the power went out.

First off, this place is amazing. Von is a killer receptionist. I booked a last second room online but it was snagged before I checked in. She quickly resolved the issue by giving me an available room . Got some snacks included for the kids it was a win. No conflict whatsoever. Hotel smells good, is clean, and has great breakfast.

An unexpectedly exceptional stay that rivals far more expensive hotels. As a frequent traveler with high standards, I don’t say this lightly, this property delivered across every dimension: cleanliness, service, comfort, and overall experience. The hotel is immaculately maintained, and the level of professionalism from the staff is truly standout - polished, attentive, and consistent throughout. I hadn’t stayed at an Embassy Suites in over a decade and assumed the brand might feel dated. This stay completely shifted that perception. The suites are spacious and thoughtfully laid out and ideal for families without sacrificing comfort or style. What truly elevates the experience is the value. At first glance, the price may seem slightly higher than comparable options, but it is more than justified by what’s included. The complimentary breakfast is exceptional (the omelette bar alone is worth mentioning), and the evening reception with drinks and snacks adds another layer of ease and enjoyment that you simply don’t get at most hotels. The indoor heated pool was also pristine and well maintained—another detail that reflects the care put into the property. We initially booked just one night for a spring break staycation, but my kids loved it so much that we extended our stay. There was a minor hiccup during that process, but the team handled it seamlessly and went above and beyond to ensure everything was resolved quickly. I regret not noting names, because the breakfast chef and evening bartender were particularly outstanding—warm, professional, and clearly take pride in what they do. This stay felt intentional, elevated, and genuinely welcoming. My kids are still talking about it—and that says everything. Highly recommend.

First walking in Van set an amazing tone for our stay! She was so pleasant and helpful that I am already planning to rebook simply because of her customer service. Check in was fast and easy. Van helped us with information and amenities. The place was beautiful and the head chef was amazing!!

Nice facility in a good location with updated rooms. The included breakfast was excellent, with an omelet bar, buffet and fresh fruit. There's also a nice gym facility and indoor pool. My only recommendation would be to include fresh coffee in the lobby, like most Hilton properties.

Had an amazing stay here and couldn’t have been more pleased, all the reviews are accurate. They even had chef Malcom serving some amazing omelets and what a top notch chef at that! He explained how they’ve been bringing in fresh pastries as well and oh man was it noticeable and didn’t feel like we were eating frozen breakfast. 10/10 experience which is hard to find these days!

We have been staying at this hotel for over 3 years almost weekly bc of a doctor’s visit. This hotel is one of the most consistent ones we have ever stayed in-consistent cleanliness, consistency in their delicious breakfast, and wonderful, friendly staff. One lady, in particular, Van has always gone out of her way to accommodate us. She’s always friendly, professional & eager to please. She knows us very well now, and always makes it a point to call us by name. We will continue to stay here for as long as we must go to the specialist in Houston & manage to get a room. They stay booked!

Great stay and very clean. Very good manager's reception and bartender Gustavo makes you feel like he's known you forever. Price is very fair and reasonable with a made to order hot breakfast included. Will never hesitate to stay here again and highly recommended if you ever have to stay in the greater Houston area.

Van has been an exceptional guest service professional. She’s consistently helpful, answers the phone promptly, and always shows a genuine willingness to assist. Her personality is truly outstanding and she goes above and beyond. She was ready and willing to go out of her way to deliver my colleagues’ work goodie bags and place them in their rooms, up until I came to pick them up instead. Her thoughtfulness and dedication shine through in everything she does. Van is absolutely management material. Alexis is also amazing, sweet, attentive, and always eager to help. Embassy Suites is incredibly lucky to have two remarkable team members like Van and Alexis. We need more people just like them!

I've stayed at a bunch of different hotels here by the Alkek Velodrome because I race here 2 times a month and I live in Dallas. The Embassy Suites is definitely the best option on this corridor! It is about $30 more per night but unlike the Marriott Residence on Barker Cypress there aren't homeless people hanging out by the pool. And unlike the Hampton Inn on Barker Cypress the rooms don't smell like mildew and pets. The staff is excellent! Raj Van was awesome when I asked for a room away from the elevators, bam! Furtherest room from the elevators was mine! The rooms are huge and clean and quiet. The breakfast was standard Embassy Suites fare. I think this will be my new home away from home in Houston when I race at Alkek Velodrome.

This is the BEST Embassy Suites I have ever had the pleasure to stay at. The front desk staff greeted us warmly with a dedication to excellence only seen in few highly rated hotels. Irma at their happy hour exceeded all expectations with …

The hotel is great and the staff is very welcoming and accommodating. Follow ups are great to ensure the room is to satisfaction. Jaafar checked me in and he was amazing. He realized I was parched and took the initiative to provide me a bottle of water even without being a honors member. Of course naturally I became a member but he did it on his own time after check-in so I can still get to my room without waiting at the desk.

I want to express my sincere appreciation for the outstanding service my family and I received during our stay at Embassy Suites Katy West. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. A special thank you goes to Van at the front desk. She was incredibly welcoming, professional, patient, and genuinely cared about making sure our stay was comfortable. She greeted us with a warm smile every time we passed by and went above and beyond to answer our questions and assist with anything we needed. Employees like Van truly make guests feel valued and are a great reflection of the hotel. I would also like to recognize the staff member who was delivering snacks to the rooms. Their kindness, friendly attitude, and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. They made the experience even more enjoyable with their positive energy and excellent customer service. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Every interaction we had with the staff was pleasant, and it was clear that customer satisfaction is a priority at this location. Please extend my gratitude to Van and the team member who delivered the snacks. They both deserve recognition for providing exceptional hospitality and making our stay memorable. I would gladly stay at this Embassy Suites again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Katy area.

I’ve stayed here a few times. First visit was really nice 1 night stay. Second visit was a cool visit 2 night stay, breakfast was good and I enjoyed the gym. The manager of this location checked me out and she was really nice. Third visit I arrived late staff was welcoming. The bathroom shower was nasty and the bathroom floor wasn’t cleaned well so I decided run and grab cleaning supplies since I had to get food. The walls in the room near the bed had little hand prints. The refrigerator was collecting dust. Breakfast was good. I enjoyed the gym. I stayed for 3 nights. During checkout informed the receptionist about the bathroom shower and she informed she’ll credit my account points due to my experience and she was apologetic. I never received the points no big deal I was just trying to make them aware housekeeping is lacking at this location.
