Let me tell you weddings are messy. I had a houseful of people shuffling me from home to home as the bride all weekend, living out of a suitcase and shuffling wedding gear from location to location. This had unfortunately caused a sudden change in my makeup site. Any other HMUA would have known this is not their problem, and said "no sorry I cant change location" , but Ghalia worked with me in what I am sure was a very frustrating situation, and for that i am increasingly thankful. This flexibility of hers gave me the chance to get some much needed rest between events and her willingness to work with me is very appreciated! Not to mention, that as a hair/makeup enthusiast, I came to appreciate the difference between an enthusiast and an ARTIST. she understands and KNOWS the kind of base, the kind of makeup, and the kind of look that will translate well on camera/and in photography and that will last your event with little to no budge. This I didnt realize until I got a first look at my wedding pictures. Theres a difference between event makeup that has a look you may like, and bridal/event makeup that will translate well in photos. This woman knows what she is doing!
