This was my first time here, the food and my experience were amazing 😊🩷 Mr Singh is super kind and we talked about him moving to the US and opening his restaurant him and my mom spoke over the phone about his culture. I will be coming here …
My experience was really fantastic and just for $18 buffet , I had you know the best tasting food ever. I don’t know why have I never came here before but now they earned a regular customer and this is just fantastic and I hope they stay like that and the flavor and the taste and everything was just amazing.
Exceptional authentic North Indian food made in dhabba style and served in. Buffet format ( which lets you taste wide variety). The food was perfectly spiced and we loved the dal makhani, paneer saag, baingan Bharta . Dessert were excellent and made in-house (gulab jamun, kheer). Love this place !
I went for a Sunday lunch buffet here and was left extremely disappointed. First of all, it was a relatively hot day so the the inside was a bit toasty. The food seemed fresh but also lacked flavour and was mostly just a bit sour and …
Fairly average, the buffet lunch had a sensible amount of options, although only one curry dish was available. …
Nice and cozy little spot that serves some great and delicious food. Very flavorful and not too spicy but yet perfectly seasoned. My husband and I enjoyed every bite.
GOURMET INDIA!!!! The name of this restaurant says it all. Tucked away in this quiet little mall area off of Westheimer and hwy 6 is this near fine dining restaurant. The interior features a relaxing and formal setting with formal …
Came into this traditional Indian restaurant and was surprised to find it nearly empty — but don’t let that fool you. The food was absolutely delicious and full of authentic flavor. Everything from the naan to the curries and rice was fresh …
Lunch buffet so terrific! Plenty of meat choices and also plenty of vegetarian/vegan dishes. Fresh fluffy warm flat breads straight to your table. My favorites were the crispy Onion Pakora, and don't forget the Aldo Baingan with wonderful spices, eggplant and potatoes!
Went in the afternoon after work. Chill atmosphere and staff. Food was amazing. It's perfect for a little date, or run in for good warm food.
Great lunch buffet served till 2:30 except Tuesday’s I believe, buttery naan served with it as well. Everything on the buffet is delicious and fresh. The fruits are fresh and sweet too …
Probably the best tasting Indian place in Houston to my liking. Don’t be fooled by the not so glamorous exterior. The food is amazing. The chicken and lamb were perfectly cooked. Great service as well. My wife, who is a vegetarian, enjoyed it as well. This will be my go to place in the area. By the way, the naan was delicious!!
This was my first time here. The staff were very kind and all the curries were delicious. I'd like to visit again.😊😊😊😊 …
We have been going to this Indian buffet for 20+ years and the food is amazing! Their signature dish has got to be the Saag Paneer. It is so good, and difficult to find one like this! We live in Toronto now (world's most diverse city), as …
Food- Pathetic, not fresh at all. The aloo was stale in the samosa, the pakodas were cold from inside, and keep in mind these are the only 2 appetizers apart from the tandoori chicken (which was brown in color and not white from inside) …
Had a good experience here.buffet was good and tasty.management was helpful.could have had some more items for a weekend buffet but thats just my opinion.maybe next time i will try la carte.will recommend
Great customer service! Friendly staff! The buffet is now open and has a very nice selection of non veg and veg dishes! Also, the best was enjoying the sizzling grill! 10/10
Let me start off by saying that this is one of my favorite restaurants in Houston! I usually don't write reviews but I HAD to write one. The Eggplant Bartha is one of my favorites, as well as the Paneer tikka Masala. Paneer refers to Indian …
Had lunch buffet at this restaurant. Sufficient amount of choices. It taste good especially the mutton masala & butter chicken.
Best saag paneer (spinach dish) ever! The creamiest....the butteriest.... But they tried to charge us DOUBLE SALES TAX when we used a Groupon coupon! Amount to be charged thru groupon was $24 for 2 buffets & 2 drinks. We didn't get …
Good buffet selection. Everything is hot, tastes fresh, and fills you up really well. …
This beautiful buffet served some amazing food and the buffet had so many great options! The vegetables are fresh from the owner’s garden and throughout the meal, she consistently brought hot, fresh nan to our table! I would highly recommend stopping by!
Great Indian food buffet. Very tasty, "medium hot" selection of meat dishes as well as vegetarian dishes available for the lunch buffet. 3 choices of desserts were also included in the buffet. The staff was attentive, friendly and quick. Highly recommended.
This is my favorite restaurant in Houston. I am a huge lover of Indian food and I willingly tell the employees this when I am in there. The servers are amazing and meet your every need. They are polite and welcoming. The food is beyond …
We visited this hidden gem in Houston for my birthday and were blown away! Although we missed the buffet, the staff was incredibly welcoming, and the chef personally answered our questions about the menu. The food was the best Indian …
The pictures of the dishes on the window looked good, so I went in and had the buffet. The A/C was broke and the manager was complaining about all the "Mexicans" in the area, because they don't eat Indian food. 😐 …
The food was absolutely delicious and full of flavor, with fresh ingredients and unique combinations that really stood out !!!! The presentation was on point, and you could tell that a lot of care went into each dish. I particularly enjoyed …
This was my first time having Indian food and it was a great first impression. We got the chicken and lamb samosas and they were both very tasty. I got the butter chicken and my wife got the lamb madras. They were both so flavorful and rich and went perfectly with the onion naan.
My mother and I love to come here for their lunch buffet. They have a variety of delicious options. The owner of the place is very friendly and attentive to his customers. Fresh bread is given and pairs well with the sauces of the food. …
This is Houston’s hidden gem! Great food and great people! You will not regret it!! It really does live up to the name!
Food taste was ok, but they charge 18% of tip when u buy a coupon of $22 for $40, so eventually you are not getting any discounts. Service is slow and roti is too hard to eat.
Eat here! Absolutely Delicious! Professional and friendly service. The best Indian food in Houston. Can't compliment this place enough!
I recently dined at Gourmet India and it was absolutely amazing! The food was delicious—fresh, full of flavors, and really well seasoned. The tandoori chicken and paneer were standouts! Exceptional service. The staff is friendly, attentive, …
Absolutely the best Indian food in Gourmet India. The flavor is authentic and delicious in every way. The prices are pretty good, the atmosphere is great, and the staff are very friendly. Definitely good to go with friends and family or even by yourself for any hankering for Indian cuisine. 10/10 would recommend!
This place is amazing. I used to come here regularly for the lunch buffet about 10 years ago but I moved out of Houston. We decided to come for Christmas lunch today. New owners but the food is very tasty and the owners are so accommodating. And atmosphere is calming. Definitely coming back often.
Very good quality buffet at a very reasonable price. Perfect place for a quick bite during short lunch breaks. Very efficient and polite staff.
This was my first visit and the food was incredible. It was the best meal I have had in Houston. Don't let the location fool you, the restaurant is very clean, the service was great and the owner and his son were very personable. I will be bàck and so should you.
I’ve been on a hunt for the most delicious butter chicken, and I found it! The butter chicken to die for and the naan bread is so soft and yummy. Staff is super friendly and helpful, ambiance is cute. I’ve dined in multiple times and will keep coming back!
Just ordered a big lunch to go from Gourmet India for 8 people last minute and they had food ready promptly and the food was incredible! I knew it was a last minute order and they were so accommodating and the owners were super kind as well. I absolutely would recommend them!!
Excellent food and super attentive service. You must try their chicken tikka masala and garlic naan!
We drive 45 minutes to come and enjoy the always delicious food. We have Indain restaurants near us but none of them have the flavor or service of this location. The food is always fresh, the service is great and the restaurant is always …
I recently ate at Gourmet India and had an exceptional experience. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with beautiful decor that transported me straight to India. The menu offered a wide variety of authentic Indian dishes. I enjoyed the …
Great food and great atmosphere will definitely be coming back to try there lunch buffet! Came here for dinner and food was phenomenal
Date night such yummy food. I loved everything we ordered. Owner was very nice!
Went with a group for brunch today, and the food did not disappoint. The lunch buffet had great curry chicken, my favorite and chicken tikka. The naan paired great with all the other dishes they had out. My favorite dessert had to be the mango custard 😭 just absolutely yummy …
Would you pay $20, (before tip), for this? Definitely over priced. The Navratan Korma was $13 and I just wish it at least came with rice.
Great family restaurant! Wonderful customer service. Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The lunch buffet was delicious and affordable! The Mango Lassi is a must try! Lunch buffet starts at 11am.
Absolutely a must visit for anyone wanting authentic Northern Indian food. The buffet was phenomenal with a variety of best sellers. Stop by when you have a chance. Family owned and operated.
Always fresh and flavorful food here! Seasoned and cooked to perfection. Very kind and friendly people who own the restaurant. Clean and welcoming atmosphere. We ordered chicken tikka masala, Sahai matar paneer, veg samosa, garlic naan.
Me and my friend absolutely loved this restaurant ( and she is a very picky eater, especially since she lived in India for a while) Staff was welcoming and attentive. I've tried many Indian restaurants before and …
Naan Stop ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you’re craving authentic Indian food, look no further! The vegetarian thali was a feast for the senses. Each dish was flavorful and beautifully presented. Plus, the staff is incredibly friendly!
Gourmet India in Houston is a true gem for anyone craving authentic Punjabi cuisine. From the moment you walk in, the warm and inviting ambiance sets the stage for a delightful experience. The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive, …
So glad to see this family back in the neighborhood! Yummy wonderful
The chicken curry is incredibly flavorful! Service is first class! We are from Massachusetts, on vacation. This is the top-five Indian restaurant that we have had tasted; ranging from California, Arizona, Vermont, New York, and Boston in Waltham, Cambridge!
I'm a person who likes to try different and new flavors. That's how I found this place, with authentic Indian food. Service is always good, friendly, and attentive. I love their coffee, samosas, palak paneer, and mango deserts.
Absolutely was pleasantly surprised by this very well hidden jewel in the city! My husband is English and loves authentic Indian cuisine, so we were browsing for a new Indian place to eat, we initially intended on going to the kabob …
Popped in for early dinner had the Mirchi pakora and lamb kabobs both tasty and the prices are reasonable. Service was very good and I will have to return for the buffet .
This place has been around forever. The food used to be excellent. It was always busy. But looks like it’s been taken over by new management. Beware Beware. Food was absolutely terrible. The samosas and snacks on the hot wok were cold …
An unforgettable dining experience! The tandoori chicken was succulent and smoky, and the ambiance is cozy and welcoming. Perfect for a date night or family gathering!
I like trying different food spots especially Indian food tikki masala is my favorite to be exact but this wasn't hit on that the tikki masala was missing something it wasn't tasting like all the other Indian restaurant I've been to so I won't be back...but the owner was very nice though
I think the people that work there at the nicest people. And the food is good. I was afraid the food there was going to be too spicy. But it has plenty of milder options. I would have given all 5 stars instead of 4 stars....but I had an …
We bought the groupon and placed the order. The place is not very appetizing - smells weird/pungent. We ordered a variety of dishes. We ordered chefs platter among other dishes. We tasted it, believed it was fermented and stale. Most of the …
Buffet seemed small to me(but thats okay),there were plenty of new things for me to try. Originally the raw onions/jalapeños didn't have a utensil to self serve. I will be trying again some time later date to try the samosas with the …
Great Lunch-Buffet. Arrived early and enjoyed quiet time. Good choices for us vegetarians. Dishes from mild to medium spicy. Lady manager was very kind...pleasant and polite ...Not our first time ...will keep going back .. definitely!!!!
This place is the best India gourmet place have ever been to, believe me I have tried all kinds of different locations and this is by far the best ever. The taste is very authentic with exotic flavors, they have many dishes to choose from …
Delicious and authentic Indian food with a wide variety. Personable and friendly service that caters to whatever needs you may have!
This restaurant gets one star because staff was somewhat friendly and somewhat attentive initially. The food gets ZERO stars because it was very bland, yet spicy. Spicy does not substitute for flavor! Even the naan bread was flavorless. …
This restaurant was pleasantly surprising! My work colleagues and I have wanted to give this place a try and we are so glad we did! The outside of the building looks pretty abysmal and we were feeling skeptical. Once inside however, it was …
The owner Harjit was particularly attentive and modified a grilled fish dish to ensure compliance with my wife's diabetic requirement. Food was very tasty and served piping hot. Excellent experience.
I come here on the regular. Always delicious, always good and fresh. The Naan just perfect!!!
Delicious food and always up to date food. I will return again.
We had an exceptional dining experience, The warm and welcoming atmosphere made us feel at home,The owner and his family are incredibly friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. The food was simply …
From outside appearance I was concerned. Inside, fantastic! Great service and very clean. Excellent take-out. Wonderful flavors and wide menu selection. Tried a mix of dishes - rices, naans, lamb, chicken, goat, and prawns. Prawns are not Texas size. More like baby shrimp.
CHRISTMAS DAY BUFFET!!! We just finished delicious buffet...my husband never had Indian food before, he loved it! Definitely a nice place to eat! We be back!
This place it’s amazing ! I love their samosa and the lady there she’s so friendly , amazing costumer service😊 …
The buffet was okay, there was a lot of chicken items. The shrimp briyani was okay, it was not worth for $16 there was no spice and a little too much salt. My favorite dish from the buffet was aloo Gobi, the gulab jamun was too hard, the tandoori chicken looked like it was boiled, with spices. Overall it was okay experience.
Good food and environment! We had a whole group come in and they were very welcoming and hospitality.
The new ownership have completely ruined this amazing place. They’ve become extremely cheap and not the elegant restraunt it used to be. Food quailing has gone down and a very rude lady serves the food. I went for my birthday and the food …
Wow. It was my first time here and I ordered the vegetable samosa and mango lassi. I’m blown away! It is the best I’ve ever had and I can’t wait to try the other dishes here. The new management is very friendly and kind as well. This is now one of my go-to places. Very happy!
It's a small but quality buffet. The yellow daal was fantastic. Excepting the butter chicken, the other flavors were... different. The lamb Rogan Josh, for example, was dominated by ginger. I've heard good things about this place... So, …
Absolutely delicious buffet and lovely service. She was really kind and actually grateful for our business unlike most restaurants where they treat you like every other customer. The buffet actually impressed me, the looks from the outside …
Curry Palace ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "A hidden gem! The biryani here is a must-try—every grain of rice is perfectly spiced. The service was warm and inviting, making our dinner even more enjoyable. I canwait to come back!
Really good food!! The food was delicious and authentic with zero oil. One of the best Indian restaurants in the area
This place got new owners recently and I must say, they're fantastic. Really got a home cooking vibe from the food and the buffet pricing is honestly surprisingly low. Definitely a hidden gem if you like Indian food!
I’ve been coming here since they opened - the food is phenomenal and extremely good! The owners themselves cook the food! They speak with you and they’re both friendly! …
Ordered some butter chicken through uber under "buy one get one free" promotion. One order cost $24 which was pricey but since we were getting two for that price, we were okay with that. So when the order came, we were shocked to say the …
Fantastic food, nice atmosphere, subpar service. My family loves indian food and have been to a lot of different indian …
Below average, buffet on weekends has very less variety we spotted hair on mango moose told them they promptly said they will make it fresh but still lost appetite. Kitchen looked terrible, toilet is never clean. This place needs to take food and customer seriously.
The food is delicious, but you may want to eat in instead of having it delivered. I ordered the lamb korma with mention of no onions. I just got my order, verified on the receipt that no onions was documented, and my meal is absolutely …
They just had a change in ownership and the food here is just too good. I go there almost every week now for lunch buffet and the selection of both Veg/Non Veg is great. The food is not crazy spicy and has tons of taste. We will definitely be back.
Great service awesome food. I've been here before for the lunch specials and wasn't let down. This is hands down my favorite Indian restaurant I have been here for lunch and multiple times for dinner. My favorite is the eggplant bharta. Great staff and great atmosphere if you stop here you wont be disappointed.
I've downgraded my review from 4 stars to 1 star for 2 reasons. One is the price, which was raised recently. With tax, the lunch buffet is now $14.02. Sorry, but I find that just too high for lunch and considering it's never very busy when …
Prepare to hear the angels sing when you eat here! The food is blissfully delicious! Indian food is my favorite and I have eaten at many Indian restaurants all over Houston and this place has the most delicious food. Give it a try - you won’t regret it.
Fantastic food and very attentive service. This place deserves its own storefront, not a hole in the wall space in a seemingly deserted shopping center. They clearly take pride in their cuisine and preparation and they make the most of …
If I could give this place 0 stars I would!!! Looks like management/chef/ownership changed. To say food was subpar would be …
This restaurant is extremely shady! I placed an order of $20-25 with them one evening unaware that they closed early …
Nice and quiet atmosphere. The place was not busy when I came in. I was immediately tended to by waiters: iced water, some chip-like bread with 2 choices of dip. One was sweet and the other sour. I really like the sour one, dipping the …
Great authentic Indian buffet!! The lady who works here is extremely hospitable and has great customer service. The goat curry and chicken curry are amazing! Lunch buffet 11am-2:30pm!
Not as great as people make it out to be. $4.00 for garlic naan each. RIDICULOUS! I should’ve gone to Biryani and grill $2.75 for the same naan. They don’t even roll it out correctly. It was 3 pieces of crunchy bread. Worst $12.99 ever spent.
Unfortunately this wasn't a satisfactory meal. The lamb curry was OK, not that savory. It also lacked the core ingredient - LAMB. The lamb was visibly sparce and the pieces that found their way into the bowl were fatty and not edible, this …
Deliciously addictive… The egg curry is my absolute favorite and the chicken tikka masala with naan can the best here! Topping it off with a mango lassi at the end. Hidden gem 💎 new owners are superb. …
Very sweet and kind owners took their time and made sure everything would be to our liking first time experiencing Indian cuisine and It was awesome!!
The food and the service was really bad. Not one item we ordered was tasting good. Ordered chicken biriyani and received veg biriyani (more like veg pulav) and the person says it's ok sir, you can take home! …
This is the best Indian food in town. They will also let you order the buffet to-go (and wrap it so nicely so it doesn't spill in your car). …
This is definitely not the original Gourmet India. Vegetarian food was bland and too sweet. At $19.50, overpriced.
Groupon visitors! The Groupon is only good for food from the menu, not the buffet. Luckily we asked before proceeding, the group behind us didn't. …
Had a meal here after many years. Great food as we remember, and very pleasant service. This used to be a favorite spot for Indian cuisine before we moved to a different area outside Houston.
Simply the best Indian food in Houston! Two of my young adult kids used to say they didn't like Indian food. Now, thanks to Gourmet India, they enjoy Indian food. The Chicken Tikka Masala is extraordinary. The naan is always very fresh, straight from the oven.
Excellent service and really good Indian food. The waitress Joselin was very friendly and quick. Attentive without hovering. She even arranged for me to go peek at the Tandoor oven, which my wife insisted was how Tandori chicken is …
Not a great experience. Missed the essential Indian Pickles. The Raita was too sour. Probably because the yougurt used was old. The Goat curry was tasteless and watery. the meat was pre boiled and just poured into a premix of some sort.It …
I lost my job because I got in a car accident and my girlfriend cheated on me with my best friend while i was in a coma. It took me 7 months to find out after walking in on them. I thought the world of the two of them (separate of course). …
This review relates more to the management moreso than the food itself. The manager, Venkat, proved to be unprofessional with his response to a catering order. This was our second catering order this year, and this particular order was …
The place doesn't look like much from the outside but it's really a hidden gem. Delicious food is all I can say. We've ordered take out and have been to the restaurant. I've only been so-so on a few appetizers but everything else has been excellent.
This is by far my favorite Indian restaurant. The staff had always been welcoming and helpful if you didn't know what to choose. I absolutely love the chicken tikka masala or the chicken vindaloo, yum. It may not look great from the outside, however if you step inside the whole atmosphere changes.
When we went, the food was amazing. None of it was bad food just different for our first. We all got a type of soup or curry, and it was really good. I really recommend this to anyone who likes to explore different foods.
Tandoori chicken was boiled, sag paneer cheese tasted like whole milk, goat ? 🐕was just bones and gristle, no spice hardly, and way too much salt.even the bread was sketch..disappointed! …
I didn't like most of the buffet food apart from gulab jamoon & rice pudding. I would not recommend anyone to waste their money & time .
We had organized a first birthday party here. It was not in a banquet hall, the manager arranged a table for the number of members mentioned and also gave space for decoration. …
Buffer is average. Not a lot of vegetarian options to start off. The saag paneer did not have paneer in it but could be because we ate at 2 PM. Overall, can be better
I didn't know what the think when we pulled up... It's very clean and nice with a decent variety for the buffet. The naan was really good and the food was also good. I had a great meal!
Love love LOVE Gourmet India! Delicious food available for their buffet and even more options available on their full menu! I’m obsessed with their Saag Paneer, likely the best since my days eating at Ashoka!
Beware of these people they will over charge your debi/credit cards or tip themselves. I got food to-go, and guy decided tip himself despite being very rude as usual, he's short Indian guy whith glasses and no personality, he's worked there …
The food and services were amazing and the food is absolutely delicious. The food is so authentic and the staff is so friendly 💖 …
Not the most appealing place to drive by, it's in a almost abandoned strip mall. But the food is excellent, one of the most authentic Indian restauranta in Houston, their bread is so light and fluffy, it melts in your mouth.
If there is a zero star i will put it . We order 2paratha bread they charge us 8$ for it . And we order chiken tendori and rice biryani The chicken its 2 small thighs with onions inder it , and we waited for the rice …
Excellent food and service. Their Chicken Tikka Masala, Sag Paneer and Navrathan Korma are very hard to beat. I prefer their Ala Carte selection though that price is a little higher for me to eat often. Buffet for lunch is priced well.
When typically ordering at an establishment, it is assumed that most, if not all, restaurants give rice as PART of the entree (particularly with Indian cuisine). This is a given. I ordered from this restaurant, and paid 50.00 for butter …
Thank you for being here! I'm so appreciative!
I wish I could give negative star, ordered malai kota and paratha. Parathas were all burnt and malai kota was super spicy, I was nothing but …
Great Indian restaurant. Food is ALWAYS fresh and delicious! Great service too. We have liked everything we’ve ordered here, but our favorites are the spinach Dahl and chicken tiki masala. Yum!
Small buffet area but tasty food. The chicken curry was so tender. They even have goat curry.
Been having the buffet lunch again there since the owner/management changed and its always been great tasting and good quality. The restaurant is a little gem in its not so endearing surroundings.
Definitely hated it. Had been there twice before our awful experience, worth mentioning is all experiences were real bad. For vegetarians, you will get the same item made of paneer, be it paneer tikka (as an appetizer) or paneer makhani (as …
Tasty authentic Indian food. It's my favorite spot if that's what you want. Don't judge the building by it's cover bc your food will taste great. I'm usually the only Caucasian there when I go.
Was expecting more from a Sunday buffet. The flavors were just not what they used to be. Some of the food tasted a bit dried out. Service was good, but overall the food has changed from before.
Good flavor and spices, especially the Tandoori Chicken. Quiet and clean atmosphere. Good service. Would visit again. A little scarce on the Paneer for the price but everything else was fine.
This place is amazing. The food is excellent and the service is warm and professional. They make everyone feel welcome and their food is delicious. I always eat here when I'm on the west side of town.
The food is delicious, fresh and a large variety to select from. The owners are friendly, and family oriented. The buffet wonderful! 5-stars!
I come here a bit and enjoy the service and the food they provide during the buffet hours. Their saag paneer is the main reason for coming there. They bring me fresh naan and it tastes great every time. The waiters are always nice and don't give me any attitude problems at all.
Very good food, lovely atmosphere, and run by a very sweet family whose goal is to make you feel very welcome. I can’t say enough good things.
Most bakwaas buffet. There were only few items none tasted good. I had only saag paneer and Roti. Just visited 2 weeks back by seeing reviews. There was no crowd. Never ever suggest this restaurant to anyone.
Service was great, good amount of vegetarian and non vegeterian options in the menu and most importantly the food was delicious. Will definitely be coming back to try their lunch buffet!
Absolutely disgusting experience. Waiters are very rude, do not know the basic customer service skills. Food was delicious, but customer service was a disaster. Needed to call the waiters multiple times, no one checks on our group. …
First indian restaurant I've tried in Houston when I've moved 6 years ago and I am still coming. Good flavours. They could improve / repair interior though.
Ordered lamb amritsari but it was like lamb in manchurian gravy. More over lamb pieces were half cooked and dry.. Also, dont even think of ordering gajar halwa...it was pathetic. first order and i am done with them....i would tell every one not to order from them...
Had Manchurian baby corn and Somoza chaat. Both were a little spicy but not overly so, but tasted great. Chicken Tikka masala was spot on. Naan was also very good.
Very friendly staff, great service and food. I love their their naan, it’s always served fresh and crispy. I highly recommend their buffet, I always go for their chicken tikka masala.
IF I COULD GIVE IT ZERO STARS, I WOULD. This has nothing to do with the food. They sent a GROUP TEXT MESSAGE with an …
First time eating here and the food looked fresh. If you like spicy then this is the place. Service was alright, didn't get refills very quickly.
We got the dinner for two and they were extremely accommodating about a substitution. The food when it came, it covered the entire table! Be prepared for left overs. Everything was perfectly spiced and absolutely delicious.
great food! visited while on vacation and I loved it! The naan bread was amazing and the butter chicken was great. Highly recommend!
Great food, great service. Staff was friendly and attentive. Restaurant was clean.
You want actual Daal Makhani? The one which is actually creamy and has makkhan in it? Go here! Baingan Bharta was delicious! Wow! Superb food. Definitely coming back.
Very good food and welcoming atmosphere. Definitely a one of the best Indian restaurants.
Chaat Corner ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "Authentic street food vibes! The chaat was tangy and delicious, and the staff made us feel right at home. Perfect for a casual outing with friends. Don’t leave without trying their gulab jamun!"
Good food! Friendly staff, good naan and good times. Very laidback restaurant with many options!
It was good long time ago...
I enjoyed my experience with this place the service feel so much better and appreciate the people who work there that help us with the buffet and feel so comfortable in this place totally recommend this place to relax and enjoy some time with the family to get some good food for this place
I had a feast while eating here! Harjeet and Harvinder are amazing, gracious hosts who made our group feel right at home. Heartily recommend!
This place is getting worse because lacked of customers and quality of food. A customer put food in the to go box and there was a disagreement with the waiter about the food. Customer left the to go box on the table and the waiter "dumped" the food back into the buffet table. Health Department should investigated this practices.
This place has a really nice lunch buffet (: The naan is super good :D
Nice ppl but had me pay and eat food that definately, definately was not fresh. Soooo i guess not THAT nice.
AMAZING FOOD! AMAZING SERVICE & HOSPITALITY. Even worked around my current stomach issues and adjusted spice on everything we ordered. Would come back again and again.
Great! Big fan of the tikka masala. Service was excellent and I really can't complain about the value for the price.
Amazing food! Great service! Highly recommend.
Ordered goan fish curry from uber. Got something else, tasted like chicken. How can fish be so hard. Called the restaurant and the guy claims it is fish.
Got korma chicken to go. Little on the expensive side for curry but great quantity and great flavor. Got a new Indian food spot. Highly recommend!
This is consistently the best Indian food that we have had in Houston. Stellar service, great quality food. We keep coming back for more.
Love the food. The staff is very friendly. The only downside is the water glasses are small and we had to have the waiter refill them several times.
Bad attitude. Curry comes with no rice, but not specified on uber eat. I'm not asking for free rice, but if the curry does not include rice, which is rare, it should be made clear.
Great food and service. Not the biggest buffet but what there is great. Fresh na'an brought to table. Can't wait to come back.
3.5 Stars Overall (Food 4-Stars but service is 2-Stars) We are vegetarians and we always went during lunch time, their buffet has decent selection and nice food as well food is 4 stars but their service personnel …
Small portions for expensive prices. Save your money and go to a different Indian restaurant. I would recommend going to Agas on Murphy and hwy 59 in Stafford. I will not be going back to this location ever again.
This place rocks, the chicken tiki masala and tandoori chicken are awesome. They have a pretty good house wine for only 5.50 a glass!
Very Delicious Buffet Options very delicious tandoori chicken, mix veg.cream korma, eggplant👌love all the items The Butter Naan Bread was Hot out of the tandoor very Delicious, "Keep Up The Good Work'👍 …
Amazing buffet, food is Punjabi and delicious. Garlic nan very recommended. And the chai is top notch too.
I personally never had a issue with Gourmet India. If Smells could speak a thousand words about what good you will taste.
Delicous selection at the lunch buffet, and the Staff makes you feel at home! Unforgettable Naan and " weekend somosas!" Have me salivating for another visit!
Enjoyed the lunch Buffet Very Delicious, Will be back soon 🙂 …
Great Food Great Customer Service. Lovely Family Operating The restaurant
Lunch buffet is only worth it if you gorge yourself. It's not a $12 buffet, should be more like $9. I won't be back, just not worth the $18 after I added an iced tea.
Indian buffet very good 12.50
Service was fantastic, food was amazing, good prices. Will definitely be returning 👍 …
Indian food made perfectly. Great flavor, and spices just right. Service was great. I'll be back. Thanks
Under new management, the food is delicious. It is tucked away at Westheimer and Eldridge but it is worth a visit for at least the lunch buffet.
Food is fresh and delicious. They have an amazing buffet selection.
I love the Chicken Tikka Masala! Very hospitable and nice.
Amazing people, amazing food!!!!!!! Left fed and happy. Would come again!
Extremely good Indian food ..very nice owner. Extremely nice and a lot of variety of food.
We went as a group for dinner with kiddos. The owner is so welcoming and patient with the kids. The food is delicious.
I loved the chicken tika masala. I recommend the feast for two. ( But really its enough for four when you add a few other things and appetizers).
Found a cockroach and haven't been back since! Small soldier (brown and orange kind) proudly flew on out table, which called quite an end to our dinner! Never back again... …
Unassuming from the outside but the interior is lovely and so is the food! Excellent quality. The staff was very kind and helpful.
Fantastic, food. Even better people. Well worth it!
Open for the first time since COVID, and everything was great! Accommodated myself and friends when we were running late, would definitely recommend.
Beautiful food for a buffet lunch on a Sunday. Samosas were extra nice!
Great place, Food is plentiful and varying. Small but that's what makes it unique
Look people, this is simply the best indian cuisine on the west side. They tikka their masala and saag a paneer like nobody's business. Stop what you're doing right now and get over here!!
Great service, and generous amount food options. And amazing chai masala.
Great place and delicious food, everything I tried on the buffet was great especially the chicken tikka masala will definitely be back!
i love this place and people ,food and service is amazing best food in town nice music and family own restaurant ,they have thali for lunch which is awesome must try it
The food is always great. Be careful with the buffet, it is just very hard to STOP EATING! Food is consistently great!
The best chicken biryani ever! Not spicy and jus’ amazing. Well done & can’t wait to order again.
Food is always good and the Naan is always hot, unlike other Indian restaurants.
Been going here for year. People are polite and lunch buffet is great.
The Food we ordered is not so fresh and it is partially cooked . We felt the flavour of the food is missing
It felt authentic and food was amazing!! Loves the garlic Naan most
This place's food is just average. The real problem was ROACHES!!! OMG! There was one on our table and one on the neighbor's! Do not go here..................... Far better and cleaner places to go.
Generally excellent food and attentive, very friendly staff. But at times rather empty, which results in a dull atmosphere
Very helpful, very nice and ambient vibe. Nice staff, great prices and absolutely fresh and delicious
Very good Indian food, really friendly staff, if you are unsure of anything on the menu they will help with recommendations.
Wonderful variety on the reasonably-priced $16.99 buffet, which comes with a generous basket of homemade naan.
We had amazing experience here. The owner was extremely patient with kids. The food was delicious.
Great food, chill enviorment and excellent service... I even got some lamb chops to go... this one is a must visit imo
Good atmosphere. Great traditional service. Very tasty food. Taste over atmosphere here with good price.
