Haydee has been performing since the age of 4, starting out in birthday party shows imitating the late Selena. From those early days, she knew she wanted to be a performer for as long as possible, jumping at every chance to be on stage throughout school.

Like many dancers, Haydee discovered belly dance through Shakira, spending her free time after school teaching herself Shakira's moves by watching her videos. While earning her Finance degree at the University of Houston, Haydee joined a belly dance troupe and began performing at major university events. In 2006, she won second place in a belly dance contest that gave her the opportunity to meet Shakira in person, and in 2010, she won another contest that allowed her to perform alongside Shakira at one of her concerts.

Since beginning her belly dance journey, Haydee has taken classes and workshops with some of the best belly dancers in the world, though much of her artistry has been self-taught through hard work and dedication. In 2016, she left the corporate world to dedicate herself to performing full time and hasn't looked back since. Today, she is one of the most sought-after belly dancers in Houston, Texas, and has been hired nationwide for shows in Las Vegas, Idaho, Florida, Arkansas, and beyond.
