Located on the 7th floor at 1111 Studewood St. in Houston’s Heights, Heights Rooftop offers a distinctive indoor-outdoor setting for weddings, receptions, birthday parties, bridal and baby showers, rehearsal dinners, graduations, bar and bat mitzvahs, quinceañeras, corporate events, holiday parties, and other celebrations. The rooftop area flows directly from the indoor space and features a lit water feature and views of downtown Houston, creating a natural setting for ceremonies, cocktails, and outdoor entertaining.
The venue rental includes tables and chairs, two hours of setup time, four hours of event time, one hour of cleanup, valet parking, security, and access to both the indoor and outdoor spaces. Included amenities also feature 10 round tables, 100 chairs, cocktail tables and stools, rectangular tables, a projector and TV, microphone and PA system, a professional bar, and a catering kitchen.
Heights Rooftop offers flexible catering options. Clients can choose the venue’s in-house catering, with menus covering appetizers, salads, entrées, sides, and desserts, or bring an outside caterer for a $250 outside-catering fee, provided the caterer has the required food-handler permit and liability insurance. The venue handles all beverage service as a TABC-licensed business, with beverage packages and add-ons available through the venue.
The venue also offers optional décor services while allowing clients to work with their own planner or decorator. Additional options can include dance floors, farm tables, lounge furniture for the patio, patio heaters, china and silverware, glassware, servers, and cleanup services. For weddings, a private bridal suite is available as an additional rental.
For couples planning a South Asian wedding or other culturally detailed celebration, the venue's flexibility around outside catering, planners, decorators, DJs, and event layouts can make it easier to bring together a personalized vendor team. DJs can connect to the venue’s built-in sound system, while the indoor and rooftop areas can be arranged for different portions of the celebration. Weather planning is also built into the venue’s approach, with tents/canopies available through its rental partner when needed.
Current venue pricing starts at $1,600 Monday–Wednesday, with Thursday at $2,000, Friday and Sunday/Saturday morning at $3,000, and Saturday after noon at $4,000. These prices cover the standard rental package, while catering, beverage service, décor, and other selections can change the final quote. Heights Rooftop also provides an interactive pricing calculator so clients can build a customized estimate based on their event details.

We had our wedding at Heights Rooftop on May 1, 2026, and it was the most beautiful experience and one of the happiest celebrations in my and my partner’s life. Not only was the venue beautiful and the views amazing, but we also felt that there were a true partnership and collaboration with Muyiwa. It happened to storm badly on our wedding day, and we were all rushing to make last minute adjustments to accommodate. Muyiwa was with us every step of the way calling vendors if needed, having us stop by to agree on different arrangements. Our special day felt just as important to him and we are so grateful. So many of our guests kept commenting on how beautiful everything was. They absolutely loved the venue, the tablecloths, and all the details that came together so perfectly. All that work is a testament to Muyiwa and all the vendors that made our wedding day perfect. The Height Rooftop was the very first wedding venue my husband and I toured, and from the moment we met Muyiwa and saw the venue in person, we instantly fell in love. We didn’t feel the need to continue searching because we both agreed it was the perfect place to bring our vision to life, especially with its beautiful combination of indoor and outdoor spaces. Muyiwa was an absolute pleasure to work with, and his staff, along with everyone involved, helped make our wedding day run so smoothly. We truly appreciated all of their hard work and support in making our special day so memorable.
Stunning venue. I had the pleasure of celebrating my big cousins life achievements and let me tell you! It's a gorgeous intimate space and the owner even showed up to make sure guests enjoyed themselves. I can't wait to have an event here
Terrible experience from start to finish. The security/clipboard agent @ the door was flat-out rude, just an attitude problem from the jump. I’m not the only one saying this read the other reviews and you’ll see a pattern. When multiple people are walking away w/ the same experience, that’s not a coincidence. Management wasn’t any better. Save your money and your energy. Houston has too many great spots to waste a night here.
