Located in the heart of Sugar Land Town Square, the hotel offers couples and their guests the rare advantage of having accommodations, dining, entertainment, and wedding festivities all in one walkable location. That creates a seamless experience, particularly for out-of-town guests, and allows everyone to focus on celebrating rather than worrying about logistics. What I especially appreciate is the venue's versatility. Whether a couple is planning an intimate gathering or a large-scale celebration, the hotel offers a variety of event spaces, including one of the largest ballrooms in the Houston area. The space can be transformed to suit a wide range of wedding styles, from classic and elegant to vibrant multicultural celebrations. We stayed at this hotel for five nights while attending a wedding in the area, and our experience was truly wonderful. I especially want to recognize and praise one front desk staff member, Shelton. He was outstanding — always smiling, incredibly helpful, and consistently went out of his way to make our stay comfortable. The hotel’s location is excellent and very convenient, with easy access to coffee shops, free parking garages, and several interesting spots nearby. Overall, a great stay made even better by exceptional service from Shelton.
Two stars, and that's generous. The room had stained carpet, a lumpy stained vinyl couch, and an AC unit caked in lint that rattled so loud it woke me up every time it kicked on — despite that, the room stayed humid enough that my towel was still wet 10 hours after showering. Walls are paper thin; you hear everything from next door and the hallway. Property-wide: ice machines broken, bar never staffed, no trash bags in any trash cans, hallways smelling musty, and pool water tracked through halls and elevators (which smell like a locker room). The small breakfast gets swarmed each morning, and not just by guests. Front desk staff were kind and offered to move me, but the replacement room was worse. Can't recommend as-is.
Tyara and the other employees at the front desk were terrific. Tyara especially was very helpful, professional and kind. She is a great representative for Marriott.
I attended a gaming convention here and everything was absolutely wonderful! The breakfast is the absolute best quality and I would recommend going to the pool and hot tub every day! Very clean and top notch service.
