J. Raphael Photography is an excellently run business by an owner that is truly gifted at taking photos. Generally, I hate photo shoots and they make me uncomfortable. However, my experience with J. Raphael Photography was smooth from start to finish. Also, the day of my scheduled shoot I had to keep changing my appointment time because my work kept throwing last minute things at me. The owner, Mr. Gilmore was very understanding, accommodating and professional. You can tell they have worked with all kind of clients before and can adapt to anyone’s needs. Lastly, I put them on tight deadlines and this company blew every one of them out of the water! They exceeded my expectations. This is a truly great photography company!

I used J. Raphael's Photography for my son's senior photo shoot. The photos were absolutely beautiful and Jared captured some beautiful smiles from my son who really dislikes smiling. If you are looking for a great photographer you should for sure give him a call. You will totally be amazed at what he can do with the camera. Don't wait get on the books for 2021. There were so many choices to make during my daughter’s senior year in high school. The simplest choice was calling J. Raphael’s Photography for her senior portraits. We were totally at ease about that part of the senior journey because we had seen what he had done for others; he did not disappoint for us. He worked hard during the entire shoot to assure us that everything would be perfect. He told us “trust the process” and we did. Each shot was amazing. It was truly a wonderful experience.

I had a fantastic experience working with J. Raphael Photography on two occasions. On the first occasion, I was looking for a photographer to take professional pictures that could be used for my business. I sent him a message late on Friday night to inquire about his availability and he responded within 30 minutes. I showed up for the shoot and J. Raphael was courteous, professional, and asked several questions to make sure he could exceed my expectations. J. Raphael did just that. I immediately felt at ease. He is a magician with a camera. I was so impressed with his work that I scheduled another session for holiday photos before I left my first session. It was also important to note that I needed the final edited products within three days for me to be included in a publication. J. Raphael reassured me that he would meet that timeline and he did. The final images were stunning and to this day, I am still getting compliments on those pictures. On the second occasion, I took my entire family, including my parents and two toddlers for an outdoor photoshoot. He made several suggestions about good locations for us to take outdoor pictures. He showed up on time and with his equipment and took hundreds of pictures. He was very patient because as you can imagine, getting toddlers to remain still and focused for an entire session was daunting. He took breaks as needed and we did not feel rushed even though we know we were in one of his busiest seasons. On the ride back, my dad who is older said that “I like that guy. He is good.” That is a sentiment that I share. I wholeheartedly endorse J. Raphael as a top-notch photographer and as a wonderful person to work with

I first learned of J Rapheal's Photography through a stylist of mine who had done a photo shoot and the picture quality was phenomenal so I tried him for myself. It was Breast Cancer Awareness month and he was doing a special for a breast cancer survivor. I called him up and scheduled a session for my classmate. When we arrived at the location, I was blown away by the scenery and even more so with the professionalism of the photographer. Although it was our first time meeting face to face, I felt as if we'd known each other forever. Very welcoming and down to earth. Dr. Gilmore is an exceptional person over all. He is very knowledgeable of his craft.
