Thanks to Marriott Bonvoy, I was upgraded to a suite. Amenities were decent, although there was no bar soap in the room. The facilities were nice and the staff was very responsive to my team's unique transportation needs. Overall, good experience and I look forward to staying there again. Photos are of the concierge lounge.
Overall the hotel was very clean, the food/drink were good and the staff were helpful. Always love having a Starbucks in the lobby and our breakfasts were included which made the morning great. The fitness center was exceptional with a …
Okay so I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights during a business trip in Houston. The hotel looks nice.. The rooms are pretty spacious and clean. In the first room i was put in the door latch was not working.. They asked thir engineering crew to come up and see if they could fix it.. I could very quickly tell that the "mastermind of the operation" did not know what he doing or talking about.. After watching him try to work with a single screwdriver for about 20 mins with absolutely no success, I decided it was time for me to go downstairs and ask for another room.. So after I gave the second man in charge the suggestion how to fix the latch (I have years in residential and commercial construction experience), I moved on to my new room.. Everything was fine in this room or it seemed so until at night when I got back to the room and I could hear these weird noises that I had no idea what they were.. During a company get together, I started to bring up the noises to one of my coworkers and his forst question was, is your room by the elevator"? And I said yes.. He was like the noises you are hearing is the elevator going up and down and the banging noise is the cables hitting.. I can just say that if you are a light sleeper make sure to stay away from the elevator.. I did not sleep for 3 nights.. I was so exhausted and to make it even worse, I have stayed in many hotels in my lifetime, this was the forst time that when I was checking out, nobody bothered to ask how my stay was.. So i know that there are ads everywhere about the Marriott Bonvoy but personally I am not impressed at all by this hotel. The location however is pretty good.. Many things to do around, restaurants and good shopping if that is what you're into.
We planned a trip to Houston for spring break with our 20 month old toddler. We chose the Marriott because we have been satisfied with other Marriott hotel stays and thought this one would be as exceptional. We were right! We enjoyed our …
Great hotel. Has the best fitness center I've seen. Indoor/outdoor pool is heated, nice. Rooms are very spacious. Housekeeping was very thorough in cleaning room. Location is very good. Will definitely stay here again.
