Set on a sprawling championship golf campus in Frisco, Omni PGA Frisco Resort & Spa is one of North Texas's most expansive wedding destinations — a 500-room luxury resort offering nine distinct wedding venues across dramatic ballrooms, a rustic pavilion, and golf-course terraces, all wrapped in the "boundless Texas sky" design language that runs through the entire property. With 43,074 sq ft of outdoor event space alone, couples have room to build a full wedding weekend rather than a single event.
The resort's four signature spaces span every scale and style:
Ryder Cup Ballroom — The resort's largest and most expansive space at 23,622 sq ft, with 24-foot ceilings, glistening chandeliers, and tartan-inspired carpeting. Accommodating up to 1,260 seated guests (1,542 for a reception), it opens onto covered outdoor terraces for a seamless indoor-outdoor celebration — making it the resort's premier choice for grand, large-scale weddings.
Wanamaker Ballroom — A warm, nature-inspired ballroom at 11,564 sq ft, featuring bird's-nest chandeliers, an oak-leaf carpet motif, and wood-paneled walls beneath soaring ceilings. Seats up to 660 guests (791 for a reception), with direct access to an adjacent foyer, outdoor patio, and event lawn overlooking the golf course.
Panther Creek Pavilion — A standalone, 4,961 sq ft rustic-elegant venue with vaulted ceilings, exposed reclaimed timbers, and floor-to-ceiling collapsible windows that open the space to its adjoining patio. Seats up to 270 guests (333 for a reception) — ideal for couples wanting a warm, barn-inspired setting with refined details.
10th Fairway Terrace — An intimate 2,800 sq ft outdoor terrace connected to the resort's cozy, ranch-house-style library, with fireplaces and panoramic views of the 10th fairway. Accommodates up to 200–240 guests, perfect for smaller ceremonies, welcome receptions, or rehearsal dinners.
Every wedding is supported by a dedicated catering sales manager and on-site culinary team crafting fully customized menus, plus sound and lighting packages, dance floors and staging, elegant floor-length linens, and AV support. The resort's event team also handles guest room blocks with a dedicated reservation link, mobile check-in, and rooming reports — though it's worth noting Omni PGA Frisco does not provide a dedicated wedding planner; instead, an event coordinator helps couples connect with outside vendors and plan logistics.
Beyond the ceremony itself, the resort offers a genuine wedding-weekend destination: 13 dining venues, two championship golf courses plus a lighted short course and giant putting green, the award-winning Mokara Spa, multiple pools (including a rooftop adults-only infinity pool), and the on-site PGA District for shopping, dining, and entertainment.
A few policies to plan around: outside food and beverage isn't permitted except for religiously required cuisine (fees apply), and securing a date requires a 25% initial deposit based on estimated total event revenue.

I was only there for the day at their 21+ pool but just from what I experienced it was amazing. From the time I opened my car door for valet to the time they sent me on my way, the level of hospitality and service is top notch. The poolside servers are so nice and welcoming, checking on you often throughout your whole stay. 10/10 will be going back to stay for a little staycation! The property was so beautiful and well maintained, very luxurious, it almost feels like you aren’t in DFW. I’m looking forward to experiencing the stay :)

The Omni PGA Frisco was fabulous - from the room, to the amenities, to the customer service throughout the entire resort. Specifically want to praise Madison - we had her as our pool attendant and she went above and beyond for our baby and us during our pool time. Loved our time here & will definitely be back!
You can tell that this place tries to hire quality people. The employees are wonderful. We had incredible experiences from the front desk, to the bell people, the gift shops, to employees in the hallway saying hello. Kind, wonderful folks. The problem was, there were not enough of them. We checked in after 4:00 and still had to wait almost an hour for our room to be cleaned. Clearly, not enough housekeepers. We waited for the bell help in our room to check out for over 30 minutes. The young men were running up and down the halls trying their best. Not enough help. Again, the employees were fantastic. They just could not keep up. Finally, it would be neat if they could have the shuttles pick up folks somewhere besides the valet. I have never seen such chaos in the valet in my life. It was often extremely overcrowded with shuttles, trucks, etc. It is too small of a space for so much activity. The grounds are beautiful and the amenities are nice. They just need to tweak a few things to make it exceptional.
We had a fantastic stay, and it was perfect for a family. There were so many options of things to do and places to eat. The staff and property are amazing, and it is truly a beautiful place to stay.
