Renaissance Dallas at Plano Legacy West

This was my second stay at the Renaissance at Legacy West, and it once again exceeded my expectations. From the smooth valet service and easy check-in to the spotless, spacious corner room, everything was comfortable and well-appointed. The location is excellent for shopping at Legacy West and convenient for getting around the area. I was in town for a FIFA soccer match, and travel to and from the stadium was quick and hassle-free. The complimentary breakfast vouchers were a great bonus. Awesome experience! MJ, who checked me in, was very pleasant and provided lots of helpful information about the area. The hotel is in a great location with plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. My room was ready when I arrived, and it was clean and comfortable. The linens were soft, and overall I had a wonderful stay. I would definitely stay here again the next time I’m in the area.

The location and great water pressure are the only highlights of this hotel. Unfortunately, the cons far outweigh the pros. Housekeeping: Absolutely horrible. They failed to restock basic coffee amenities or leave cups during our entire stay. We had to repeatedly go downstairs for cups. The ice bucket didn’t even have a bag, and the room wasn't thoroughly cleaned. The shower had noticeable mold and mildew. Noise Issues: If your room is on the northeast side, prepare for sleepless nights. There's a club on the 2nd level nearby, and all you hear is bass pounding all night long. Valet Service: Long wait times and no QR code system for convenience. They lost our keys once because a valet driver had them in his pocket. Some drivers seemed more interested in joyriding exotic cars than providing prompt service. Room Quality: Rooms need a serious refresh. Damaged furniture, a smoky smell, and a poorly designed bathroom door with no privacy. The towels were torn, the bed squeaked, and the mattress had noticeable dips. Room Service: Limited menu with items missing that were listed online. Food was lukewarm upon arrival. The noise from the tollway and the street next to the hotel adds to the frustration. If you're looking for rest and relaxation, this is not the place. We’ll be returning to the Hyatt Regency at the mall next time, as it offers a much better experience.

Worst experience ever! We stayed from Wednesday to Sunday and not once our room was cleaned. They just stocked towels once on Friday. No body answered whenever we tried calling for someone to come clean the rooms. When we were checking out the person who gave us the cart was very very rude. He should not be working there if he doesn’t know how to talk the customers. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this place or come back to stay here ever.
