Ryan R Jones doesn't just photograph weddings — he's spent over two decades learning how to see them, starting in a film lab long before he ever picked up a camera on a wedding day.

Ryan's path to wedding photography wound through a decade as a Navy Diver stationed in Hawai‘i, where he began photographing weddings and went on to shoot hundreds of ceremonies across the islands and beyond before settling in Galveston. That range shows in his work — an artist's patience for the fleeting, particular moments that belong to no one else but the couple in front of him: the exhale before walking down the aisle, the private joke shared mid-reception, the look exchanged only once. Now a full-time father himself, Ryan brings the same steadiness and presence to every wedding he shoots.
