Some photographers choose their career. Quaid Tinwala was called to his — and the difference shows in every image he captures and every film he produces.

The owner and creative force behind SMB Films & Images LLC, Quaid discovered his passion for photography at the age of ten — a spark that never dimmed, never wavered, and eventually led him to make one of the most defining decisions of his professional life. After filming his own graduation and feeling the profound power of preserved memories firsthand, Quaid made the leap from a full-time career into the world of wedding photography and videography — and has never looked back. For over 15 years, SMB Films & Images LLC has been thriving, growing, and delivering exceptional wedding photography and videography to couples across Katy and the greater Houston area who trust Quaid with the most important visual legacy of their lives.

What sets Quaid apart from the field is not just his 15 years of hands-on wedding experience — it is the genuine, deeply personal passion for the craft that has driven every creative decision, every carefully composed frame, and every beautifully edited film he has produced since that very first spark of inspiration at age ten. He approaches every wedding not as a job to be completed, but as a story to be told — with the artistry, the patience, and the genuine emotional investment of someone who understands, at the most personal level, how profoundly meaningful it is to hold onto a beautiful moment forever.

From the quiet, tender exchanges between a couple in the moments before the ceremony begins, to the joyful, high-energy celebrations that fill the reception with laughter, dancing, and the abundant warmth of family and friends gathered together — Quaid captures it all with the skill, the sensitivity, and the creative excellence that 15 years of dedicated wedding work produces in an artist who has always loved what they do.
