Located at 2955 Gulf Freeway, Houston, TX 77003, The Blank Canvas Space is a family-run event venue offering two distinct spaces: King’s Court for more intimate celebrations and Bethel Ballroom for larger gatherings. The venue is designed around the idea of giving clients a polished foundation while leaving plenty of room to bring their own vision, décor, vendors, and event style to life.

King’s Court offers a more intimate setting for up to 100 guests according to the venue’s package page, making it well suited to micro weddings, birthday dinners, bridal showers, baby showers, intimate receptions, and workshops. Bethel Ballroom accommodates up to 250 guests and is positioned for wedding receptions, gala dinners, milestone celebrations, and corporate banquets. The two spaces can also be booked together for larger celebrations, including a ceremony in King’s Court followed by a reception in Bethel Ballroom.

The venue includes a substantial collection of amenities with the rental, including round and rectangular tables, cocktail tables, white and gold chairs, on-site parking, a magazine photo booth, backdrop options, champagne wall, bar, bride-and-groom table and chairs, chandeliers, venue cleanup, and access to additional event add-ons. Bethel Ballroom bookings also include two changing rooms, while King’s Court includes a speaker and microphone.

One of the strongest advantages for hosts is the venue’s open-vendor policy. Clients can bring their own caterer, decorator, entertainment, and other vendors without a buyout clause. The venue also maintains a curated vendor list for clients who want recommendations. Outside alcohol is permitted, provided it is served by a licensed bartender with valid TABC certification.

The Blank Canvas Space has a particularly strong track record for luxury birthday parties and milestone celebrations. Recent event showcases include elegant 40th and 50th birthdays, a 28th birthday with a darker, candlelit aesthetic, an engagement party featuring whites, gold accents, and florals, as well as colorful and highly styled celebrations with lounge seating, live music, draping, candles, and statement décor.

Current listed pricing starts at $2,000 Monday–Thursday for King’s Court, $2,500 Friday/Sunday, and $3,000 Saturday. Bethel Ballroom starts at $5,000 Monday–Thursday, $5,500 Friday/Sunday, and $6,500 Saturday. Booking both spaces starts at $6,000 Monday–Thursday and reaches $8,500 on Saturday. The venue also offers a décor package at $35 per guest, while many additional features are included at no extra charge.
