The course has since recovered from the temporary greens period but there’s another problem Fossil Creek currently suffers from.; horrible slow play. I don’t know what it is but this golf course attracts the dumbest, slowest, most awful golfers in Fort Worth. Like the dead in the 6th sense, they’re oblivious to their situation leaving the rest of us in Osment’s role to deal with the horrific truth. Dealing with these people, their lack of courtesy, not letting anyone play through, getting violent when you address the matter, makes being dead like Bruce seem not so bad. The course is need of marshal that can herd these golfers and keep them on pace, because a 6 hour round is unacceptable.

Beautiful course and clubhouse. Greens were fast as lighting. A very difficult course, lots of water and sand and fabricated mounds and valleys.
I really like the layout of this course. Fair amount of trees and water. Friendly staff. Fair green fees. Fairways always seem to be in very good shape along with the greens. My favorite public course in the DFW area!
