The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas — Wedding & Reception Venue, Dallas, TX

The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas offers a full-service setting for weddings, receptions, rehearsal dinners, bridal showers, anniversaries, and other milestone celebrations. Located at 2121 McKinney Avenue in Uptown Dallas, the hotel features approximately 24,000 square feet of event space across 12 event rooms, ranging from intimate salons to one of the largest luxury ballrooms in the Dallas area. The venue can accommodate celebrations from small gatherings to large-scale receptions, with the largest event space accommodating up to 980 guests for a reception and 550 for a banquet.

The centerpiece is The Ritz-Carlton Ballroom, a 9,448-square-foot space featuring custom-made Murano chandeliers, large windows, and a dedicated pre-function area. It can accommodate up to 980 guests for a reception or 550 guests for a banquet. For smaller celebrations, Salon A accommodates up to 500 guests for a reception or 300 for a banquet, while Salon B accommodates up to 250 for a reception or 150 for a banquet. Additional salons and smaller rooms provide options for intimate dinners, gatherings, and supporting event functions.

Wedding planning is supported by the hotel's dedicated wedding professionals, including Marriott Certified Wedding Planners who can assist with the event budget, menu, table settings, florists, photographers, entertainment, and other wedding-day details. Couples can also use the hotel's Event Design Studio to visualize and customize the look of their celebration before the event. An approved wedding planner is required for weddings held at the hotel.

Catering is handled by the hotel's culinary team, with customized menus available for a range of dietary and cultural requirements, including vegan, kosher, Indian, and other specialty cuisines. The hotel also provides synchronized banquet service and an on-site audiovisual and event-production partnership for entertainment, lighting, music, and technical needs.

Every Ritz-Carlton wedding includes several complimentary event amenities, including pewter banquet chairs, floor-length linens, napkins, a stage riser, a mahogany wood dance floor, and two power drops for musical entertainment. Preferred guest-room rates are available for out-of-town wedding guests. For weddings with a minimum of 150 guests attending the reception, the bride and groom receive a complimentary deluxe suite with rose-petal turndown on their wedding night.

The hotel also offers additional accommodations for wedding weekends, including room blocks for family and friends. Unclaimed rooms are released 30 days before the event, and larger room blocks may be subject to contractual obligations. A private dedicated valet entrance and service is available for events with 250 or more attendees. The hotel's Uptown location also places guests close to shopping, dining, the Dallas Arts District, live entertainment, and professional sports venues.

Pricing is customized rather than published as fixed wedding packages. A food and beverage minimum applies based on the selected event space and represents the minimum required food and beverage spend; it is exclusive of service charge and tax. If the actual food and beverage total falls below the required minimum, the hotel may charge the difference as a facility fee. Couples can contact the hotel's wedding team to discuss their guest count, event space, menu, and customized proposal.

With its range of ballroom and salon spaces, customized catering, dedicated wedding planning, guest accommodations, and full-service event support, The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas is designed to accommodate everything from intimate wedding-related gatherings to large formal receptions.

The room was spotless and well-appointed, with a luxurious bed and bathroom. The service was great, including turn-down service in the evening. The bar/restaurant has a nice atmosphere with decent drinks and helpful bartenders. Staying here is a pleasure.

Cashed in 100K Marriott Rewards points for two nights at this location for a weekend getaway with the wife. If you are looking for a luxury hotel, in the finest manner, then this is the place to stay and impress. From check-in, valet, housekeeping, concierge, Fearing's Restaurant, to check-out; Everything was as advertised and expected. We had a deluxe corner room and here are some things worth mentioning. The view of our room overlooked the pool, spa, and construction (see photos), not the best view I am positive, no complaint here just information. When we arrived room service brought us a complimentary champagne and chocolate covered strawberries with a personal note from the management team, very nice touch. From that moment on, our attitudes immediately shifted from the long drive to enjoying our stay. The lights were on, the TV with classical music, all these personal touches from a hotel of this caliber as you would expect. The customer service is was excellent and a shoutout to Myla (Spelling?). Beware the valet is $27 a day and like Las Vegas gratuity is not included in many things but expected. Also, worth noting is that they are a tier 3 hotel and their club level does not apply with Marriott Rewards Elite members, when inquiring it is $100 a night with 5 meals, an all day affair if you wish, we opted out and ate at Fearing's. A little on the fancier side of life is nice once in a while, I Highly recommend this hotel. As expected, YouTube Video of room on channel.

The venue was spacious and high class, with stilted performaers greeting guests. The service was prompt and even snuck us some alcoholic shots! The only quibble was meats were not kept hot, and we essentially just fancy cold cuts.

How would you like to check in to a hotel with the reputation that the Ritz has and be treated unfairly while other guests are getting the full guest experience? That’s what happened to me. They made me feel less important than others and embarrassed while checking in at the front desk. No thank you and never again!!

Beautiful views of Metropolitan Dallas from the room! Excellent service, location, food, and large health club. We stayed for a weekend and plan on returning very soon. Drinks and live entertainment on the patio were world class!
