Up Above Venue is a modern private event venue at 7151 Office City Dr, Suite 120, Houston, TX 77087, conveniently located near 610 and I-45 South. Designed specifically for smaller gatherings, the venue accommodates up to 99 guests and gives clients exclusive use of the space rather than sharing it with other events.

The space is particularly suited to weddings, wedding receptions, engagement parties, bridal and wedding showers, birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, holiday parties, and private celebrations. For weddings, couples can use the venue for an intimate ceremony and reception in the same location, or host a ceremony, shower, rehearsal dinner, or post-elopement celebration.

A major advantage is the number of essentials included with the rental. Up Above Venue provides tables and seating for up to 99 guests, taffeta and satin linens, six hours of event time, cleanup, security, day-of coordination support, bar access with unlimited ice, prep-kitchen access, an outdoor patio, lobby seating, and integrated surround sound, speakers, and a large screen. Front and rear parking are also available for guests.

The venue follows a BYOB-friendly model, giving hosts the option to bring their own beverages. Additional services can be added according to the needs of the event, including catering, bartenders, waitstaff, DJs, photographers, photo booths, balloon décor, centerpieces, floral arrangements, backdrops, and other event enhancements. This allows clients to build their event around the services they actually want rather than automatically paying for a large package of extras.

For South Asian celebrations, the private and adaptable layout can work particularly well for smaller Mehndis, intimate wedding receptions, engagement parties, bridal showers, birthday celebrations, and other family gatherings where a large ballroom isn't necessary. The ability to customize the layout and bring in additional catering, décor, entertainment, and photography services also gives hosts flexibility to create a more personalized setup.

Pricing currently starts at $375 per hour Monday through Thursday with a three-hour minimum, with the rental including the core venue amenities and services listed by Up Above. Additional event hours and premium add-ons are available for an extra fee; clients can contact the venue for a personalized quote for their specific date and event.
